    The Indian student made a very brilliant observation when asked if India 🇮🇳 should play a leading part. He said India should only play its part to the extent of its populations and geographical size. The mentality of trying to do the right thing for others has caused a lot of instability.

      I think your understanding of “help” reflects the idea of altruism. The real “help” offered by western governments to 2nd and 3rd world countries is actually perpetual and forced debt that keeps these nations producing only raw materials in order to cheaply feed the higher standard of living in the western world. As a result those counties remained poorly developed and appear as if all they do is leach.
      I can say without a doubt that the west and Europe are very fearful that if Africa and South America acted upon these realizations, that the world needs them and not the other way around, then those western nations would be in a bad way. Certainly that’s to say the cost of living would sky rocket and organics as well as produce and even meats would become un affordable.
      The sad thing is, they could have worked together but greed only ravaged and took from Africa, now she is flipping the script.
      One example is Ghana the leading producer of cocoa now states they will begin processing their own chocolate and no longer exporting to Switzerland.
      What can the Swiss do? Promote Sanctions on them lol. Ghana has more food to feed all of africa and more. Not to mention most of gold comes from Africa as well.
      So again I just come back to “help.” Top nations don’t help other nations. They instead are often insidious dealings. Help is just the way it’s portrayed to average citizens in order to create a narrative that’s accessible and beneficial at the time.
      After learning world economics you will see that the world has a strong dependence on these “poor countries” and it’s actually quite frightening how they maintain these things. Nothing like this dynamic could last forever.

      @@casualobserver5402 Theres also a problem with Altruism.. Nowadays the "Left" are the ones reluctant to criticize imperialism when its practiced by Biden for example, and the media talk a lot more about womens/human rights abuses by these regimes than about the "foreign enemy" and so on. Now the propaganda for war is targetted to the Left, and around humanitarianism and altruism. This saviour attitude in itself is a danger just as much as wanton exploitation

    • @casualobserver5402
      @casualobserver5402 Před 3 lety +6

      @@nadjiguemarful my point was that there never was a altruistic or feeling of good will when approaching these highly resourceful and underdeveloped by western standards, countries.
      Maybe social workers in the field have no idea that the goal is to loot and so they are acting on a pure intent to “help.” However what I meant is it has always 100% been to pretend to be a savior. I can’t comment on the problem or fallout of imperialistic charity because I don’t think it exists or existed.
      But I agree with you in that what ever sheep’s skin they wear it’s all an insidious joke they play on the masses.

This is a direct result of stimulation for chasing sensual pleasures while disregarding higher purpose of life. If only India had adopted the gurukul system or at least some spiritual education, there would be a progressive evolution of the youth and more altruism means population wouldn't increase, but be kept constant or decrease to optimum levels. They don't call this the "Kali yuga" for no reason. It degrades the quality of human being over time.

      Maybe this is because schools haven’t been teaching their students anything useful or valuable. I’m not sure if this is the case for everyone, but for me, I haven’t learned anything new in my most recent school year (I am currently on summer break) and I’m a pretty good student. I pay attention to every lesson, I get my work done how my teacher wants it, and I get decent grades. Schools don’t want to teach their students anything new. Another thing I think is worth mentioning is that schools will also sugarcoat most things or as I previously stated, they will try to ignore the things that matter (such as racism, lgbtq+ injustice, etc.) If anything, I think the older generation should be thankful that we’re trying to educate ourselves someway to make the future a better place for the next generation. (I hope I didn’t come off as rude or too defensive. Also, if this doesn’t make any sense, then I’m sorry about that. It is 12 in the morning and I can’t think properly)

      @@bloodline._ i get the whole SJW thing but it’s gone beyond all normal thought here in America…There will never be a “perfect” society but believe me America is by far the closest and people still actively hate on it. I was watching soccer and noticed the entire Mexican team and fans stood for their national anthem knowing that their country is the masters of police brutality where cops make people disappear or rob them blind, yet no one seems to take it out on their flag….ask yourself why?? maybe it’s because the flag and the people it represents can always strive for the idea of a more perfect place without having to hate on it just to be a social media “sensation “ to all their anonymous friends. I used to live in a latin american country and am amazed that Americans don’t seem to appreciate what they have…and you sound like a smart and engaging person!! your parents must be proud!
