The real “help” offered by western governments to 2nd and 3rd world countries is actually perpetual and forced debt that keeps these nations producing only raw materials in order to cheaply feed the higher standard of living in the western world. I've been seeing these debates all day and I see Indians leading the debate in every one of them. What happened to India since then? Did all the smart ones move to the USA?
Maybe this is because schools haven’t been teaching their students anything useful or valuable. I’m not sure if this is the case for everyone, but for me, I haven’t learned anything new in my most recent school year (I am currently on summer break) and I’m a pretty good student. I pay attention to every lesson, I get my work done how my teacher wants it, and I get decent grades. Schools don’t want to teach their students anything new. Another thing I think is worth mentioning is that schools will also sugarcoat most things or as I previously stated, they will try to ignore the things that matter (such as racism, lgbtq+ injustice, etc.) If anything, I think the older generation should be thankful that we’re trying to educate ourselves someway to make the future a better place for the next generation. (I hope I didn’t come off as rude or too defensive. Also, if this doesn’t make any sense, then I’m sorry about that. It is 12 in the morning and I can’t think properly)

maybe the majority but not all of us.
Maybe this is because schools haven’t been teaching their students anything useful or valuable. I’m not sure if this is the case for everyone, but for me, I haven’t learned anything new in my most recent school year (I am currently on summer break) and I’m a pretty good student. I pay attention to every lesson, I get my work done how my teacher wants it, and I get decent grades. Schools don’t want to teach their students anything new. Another thing I think is worth mentioning is that schools will also sugarcoat most things or as I previously stated, they will try to ignore the things that matter (such as racism, lgbtq+ injustice, etc.) If anything, I think the older generation should be thankful that we’re trying to educate ourselves someway to make the future a better place for the next generation. (I hope I didn’t come off as rude or too defensive. Also, if this doesn’t make any sense, then I’m sorry about that. It is 12 in the morning and I can’t think properly)

THe US is better in many ways because people fought to make it that way by pointing out the problems and working to improve them.
