  • Walker, Texas Ranger, starring Chuck Norris and Clarence Gilyard, was a show that ran from 1993 - 2001, and was about the legendary Texas Rangers. It was filmed mostly in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and we were able to find several locations that were shown in the series.

    I used to watch Walker Texas Ranger, it’s been a long time since I’ve watched any. It always fun to visit places where a film was done.

      Yes, it was a good show for the most part. It is available on Pluto now, if you have that channel on Roku. I have the DVD set, so I still watch it pretty regularly.

      You're very welcome. So glad you enjoyed it.
      Maybe you could make a video of those places when you go, and send me the link? Would love to see some more areas from the show.

      If I get back out that way, I would love to. I will do a lot more preparation and get more scenes from the show next time.

    That's pretty wicked awesome that you've found these locations. The one location I've always been curious about is Walker's ranch. Also, do you have a favorite episode? Mine is Standoff mainly because it featured the absolute best villain in the show and a lot of tremendous fight scenes.

    • @NCMemoryMakers
      @NCMemoryMakers  Před 5 měsíci

      I have also wondered where the ranch was, and I honestly don't know the answer to that. I wish we had had more time to find several more locations.
      There are a lot of episodes I like, but I really like the 4 episodes back to back, where Walker and the task force takes down "The Chairman".
      I believe that was in Season 8.
      I also like "El Coyote", and "Fight Or Die".

    6:57 I think the Opening scene of the episode standoff was also filmed at deely Plaza

      @NCMemoryMakers  Před 6 měsíci

      Probably. I have seen the Plaza in a couple of episodes.

      @@NCMemoryMakers what I really would like to know is where the Dallas fine arts Center was where Alex and CD were being held hostage when Felipe Bouchard seized the building. I do know the hotel where brouchard stays at is actually called the Dallas plaza, which was also featured in the episode where that guy harassed Alex and hes a cab driver. And a nursing home at the end of the episode standoff I forgot the name of it, but I looked it up and it actually is a real building and they actually surprisingly use the real name in the episode at least for the external shots. I’m assuming it internal shots were filmed in a studio when he gets kicked through a window.

      I thought about taking my son's cowboy hat, but since we were flying and already pretty much with a full suitcase, it would have been an extra thing to pack. Plus, I don't look good in them.
