Happy Birthday Tere!!! BTW, your secret (no longer a secret hahahha) ingredient for Humba is Coke or Pepsi. Mine is Sprite or 7-Up because aside from the Taste it is also a Meat Tenderizer that's why I used it together in boiling the Meat. Maybe 1 kg of Meat, 1 Family Size Sprite and of course Water. I use it in all Meat dishes like Adobo, Mechado, and Beef Steak (Bistek). Happy Bday muli. Kiss Cute Bella for me and regards to Mirco.

Always best to pan sear the pork meat(to bring out the flavors) prior to adding the liquids. The impurities of the meat was mixed in with the ingredients. Excessive sugar content, in my humble opinion.
