Ah, another Saturday morning enjoying my coffee, hanging out at Ken's Garage.
    Nice work, as always.
    Bagging parts
    Good notes
    Nice engine stand
Smart decisions regarding seals. They are relatively cheap while the engine is apart.
Today is front tire change, rear is done. Also, an unexpected plastic repair on the rear frame shroud. Glad I caught it. Easy to fix, I will post pictures on the forum thread of the repair.
BTW, the BBQ looks yummy! More cooking videos from KG?

Thanks Scott. I always appreciate your comments here. When will you be riding the RZ. Cooking videos??? Maybe sometime in the future. Lots going on and editing time is hard to come by these days.

@@KensGarage1 I get it. Can't spread yourself too thin. Good BBQ is always a treat. Your rib recipe has become a favorite around here.
I am getting close to a test ride! Got the front tire mounted yesterday. The repair on the mounting tab on the rear cowl I will finish today. Got a few small things left.
Remount the front wheel on the bike.
Align the rear wheel - string it!
Hang the Spec II's with red RTV.
Replace the o ring in the petcock sediment bowl. (finally came in)
      Fresh gas
      Bleed the oil pump
      LET HER RIP.....
So close, gotta finish it right. No rushing.
I owe Windy a lunch. His tire mounting videos are gems. Saved me some money, some fingers, and no swearing.
      Almost ready for Spring.

Motor looks great on the inside. Someone kept up on it

Engine was built by Brian Turfrey Racing and never run. I have no doubts about the build. It needs seals from sitting and does not meet my cosmetic standards. Needs a face lift.

Looking at those pistons and seals says to me that engine had not been used since it's last rebuild. But you never know until it's apart.

It hasn't been started. This is the second "new" engine I have had to rebuild due to aging.

Thanks ricardo. I don't know why there was so much variance in the measurements.

And…. What is the sugar content of the sauce you are using with your ribs? 😂

    Who did the port work?

Brian Turfrey Racing. He does all my top end cylinder boring. He built the bike for a customer then the project was abandoned. Then sat here for many years.
