- The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have visited Church on the Street in Burnley - the second of two engagements in Lancashire.
Church on the Street is a refuge and safe space for anyone in the community who may be struggling. Pastor Mick Fleming is a former drug dealer who founded the charity in 2019 to help the homeless and people living in poverty.

@@elizabethmchugh9811 well, from what I’ve read, after she had such severe morning sickness with George and Charlotte, he didn’t want any more, he was more concerned about his wife’s health than continuing the family line.
He had to be “talked into” one more, that became Louis.
Plus, she just turned 40, which makes pregnancy risky.

The story of the little boy, the support of WillIam telling him about his mother, the loik of Catherone to her husband at that moment, the baby holding...and later on the home and the little dog. They seem tired but something definitely has changed. Their dynamics is STRIKING and Rock SOLID.

Poor little boy who lost his mom. William was compassionate and keen to let him know it gets easier.
He even asked if he had brothers and sisters, knowing family is key to coping.

They are so genuine and kind. You can tell they are sincerely interested and not just putting on a show for the cameras. William is so funny when he says "Don't give my wife any ideas" but then such a sweet moment comforting and empathising with the young boy who lost his Mum.
Something in the dynamics has changed with these two, the same affect as his mother.Peoples faces light up and the empathy and listening to others, letting others shine. There is more of Diana in William. Catherine just shines without trying.
William is so understanding, so full of compassion...and has a great sense of humour and fun. Kate is the perfect person to be by his side, they are a very special couple...doing very special work .

You're correct he does have some of his mother's same motions but please remember he's a zone man. I know comparisons are great, but let's not overdo it. William is an excellent human being in his own right. And some part of that must be the results of his father too. The way these two work together is it outstanding. It was a truly lovely day.
Yes, I was thinking that. Diana trained him well - taking him to charities for the homeless - privately. So he could see how the other half live. No fan fares, no boasting about it. And when one client spoke his mind about royalty - Diana was ablt to say ..... this is how it is..... not everyone likes us.

I just can't help but smile when I watch William and Catherine when they are visiting places. They both have so much empathy. I was almost crying when William was talking to the little boy who lost his mum. Poor lad. There's no words to console him but William did his best by telling him that he had lost his mum. Both are united in their grief 😔. The Catherine holding the little baby, she is certainly maternal. I just can't help but love this couple. Much love to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. ❤
The way the baby naturally responded to Catherine--babies can get fussy in an moment if they know you don't want to hold them and don't give off "Mommy" vibes, but she took to Catherine so well. That says everything, and it's beautiful.

I just love Kate and Will!! I see nothing but genuine concern and care emanating from them to those who need help in one form or another. There's nothing contrived about them.
This was so natural! They just seem to blend in wherever they go! This makes people feel comfortable. They are such a solid team! I really think with there help mental health and addiction with children and teens will improve in the UK because Kate takes her work very seriously. When she went to the young couple with the baby she did it naturally.

Great couple with a wonderful group of people. Can't be easy to chat with so many in a relaxed, informal manner, but William and Kate seem so open and genuine. It would be good if William succeeded to the throne after her majesty retires. He has the warmth, intelligence and personality, which would make a great sovereign, which he shares with lovely Kate.
