As a German speaker, it is really easy and fun to learn Afrikaans.
Cant say the say about German. I mean Dutch would be way easier to learn then German

@@assassinglx Its gonna be difficult because I have to learn 2 addtional languages and do well in them in order to pass matrics. but I dont see the importance of learning it

Quite interesting to me. I was in SA about 50 years ago and I learnt a bit of Afrikaans and there may have been some pronunciation changes since then. For instance at 5:33 Ingrid says the sentence "daardie is nie sleg nie". When I was there the second d in daardie was not pronounced, so though spelt daardie it was spoken as daarie.
It's always been daardie but the informal Is daarie. I'm a native Coloured South African.

@@N.O.2C.B So the matrics exams lasts for 3 years from grades 10,11,12. And its only done at the end of each year right
@@fury783 No you take examinations all year round, school's operate differently, but all school's in South Africa write exams all year round. Sadly i'm done with school i'm studying Bachelor of education now i'll be doing my first year and i'm 21 turning 22 in April. STAY SAFE AND ALL THE BEST THIS YEAR
