I've run into a problem at about 6:48. When I added the mirror modifier, my duplicate car showed up right against the first one, and flipped upside-down! I compared my settings and they were the same as yours. I was not able to place the mirror in the correct location, across from the original, until I changed the axis to Z. I decided to start all over again, and did not have that problem the second time, but can you tell me what I may have done wrong the first time? 🤔

the boundary on/off isn't working for me

Press the I key again, after the first time, and that will toggle the individual, then press B again for the boundary.
