Here's a brief, useful tidbit of info: If someone ever tells you they're going to kill themselves if you leave - that's abuse. That's manipulative, psychologically abusive behaviour and it is very, very insidious. If someone tries that with you, please leave when it's safe for you to do so if you don't think talking with them about it will be safe for you to do.

I wish someone had told me this very young because I was 15 and my first "boyfriend" threatened to kill himself if I left after I found out he cheated on me (because I refused to put out, BECAUSE I WAS 15). Being honest with your SO about genuine suicidal thoughts is one thing, but blaming your mental illness on someone else is absolutely abusive and horrible.
Also, if they do this, call the police. If they're serious, they can get the help they need. But 99% of the time, it's manipulation. And having a cop at your doorstep after telling someone you're suicidal for attention is absolutely karmic justice.

It’s manipulative and disgusting for them to do, but it isn’t illegal to say so what are they going to do about it except force you to go to the hospital (a potential escalation). Inviting the police to your doorstep to “intervene” in a mental health scenario is the worst possible decision because it only serves to escalate what’s happening. You’re bringing in a stranger with a weapon in response to potential suicidal ideation. In people’s brains in that stressful of a situation, because I’ve been in that situation before, cops=arrest/danger. That’s usually true even of a situation where the person isn’t serious. Instead, tell someone that they trust what’s happening, and maybe try taking them to the hospital. If they’re faking it they’ll do everything they can to stop from staying, in which case you can then leave because they’re a lying manipulative asshole
Truth. I know someone who does this. To be totally fair this person is also horrible and talks about everyone they come across like they are dogsh•t and has extreme road rage so it's not a big surprise.

I think whoever said it genuinely liked them and just expressed it to trixie in a fun and theatrical "trixie" manor and to Katya as sarcastic dark humor ( i.e the wink to show "im joking with you i actually like you") in order to communicate her appreciation for them in terms of their dynamic comedy. She probably knows them from their video and media personalities better than she knows their actually person. Shes in drag too, shes probably responding in 'character' to her fellow drag queens.
