We bought a bidet seat at the beginning of Covid. We use tp after using the spray, but you don't have to. It seems across Europe it varies using tp or not to dry.

I have agoraphobia! Agoraphobia, just like most disorders on tv, is misrepresented. You’re not usually literally stuck in your house, you have safe zones. So I feel ok going to certain stores at certain times with certain people. I feel extreme anxiety deviating from these safe spots.

A lot of people who have agoraphobia only have problems in certain very limited areas, like downtown spaces with high rises, certain bridges, airplanes, etc. It's completely misrepresented, basically no one knows what it is at all
People think it means "homebound" but it's 100% not. Some agoraphobic people are afraid of going INside. Agoraphobia usually is "pathological" avoidance of circumstances that cause panic attacks. You get to the point where you're afraid of the panic attack and want to avoid it to the same extent you're afraid of the bridge or of being stuck somewhere or whatever. You want to avoid it so you stop going places that trigger panic. In a way it's often like a fear of having panic attacks. If you become afraid of enough stuff you might have to stay home, sure, but not being able to leave is still not the gist of the phobia, it's just one form of it. Like 75% of the people in my family have agoraphobia and only one was too phobic to leave his room/house. He had to drink to go to work. Everyone else has different phobias
@@annediaz152 honestly, how it is in movies is exactly how I felt whenever I had agoraphobia. It was right after I had a very serious car accident where I almost died. I could not leave the house. Whenever I would leave my house I would just freak out so bad I just cannot be outside of my house at all. I mean that was my personal experience, this is the first time hearing that it’s not like that for everybody. I got on medication so I’m like 80% better now.

We usually do not use bidets to clean ourselves everytime we p00p, and that is why it is not in the toilet. You can totally do that, but the Spanish bidet is also built a little different, since the water does nor come from the bottom up, so you would have to place yourself in a "weirder" position, or scoop the water and clean yourself by hand.
We usually use it for other stuff, like washing our feet when we go to the beach, washing our genitals when we have our periods, giving small pets a bath, washing delicate clothing by hand, etc. Those are more common than using it as a substitute for wiping.
