This is footage from my storm chasing adventure in northeast Texas on November 4, 2022. This includes the tornadoes in Emory, Sulphur Springs, Pittsburg, and almost the one in Clarksville and Idabel, but I just missed it. Turns out that might have been a good thing...
The Tornado Outbreak on November 4 took only 3 lives, with 31 total tornadoes touching down. The strongest of them were 2 EF4s, one in Clarksville, and one in Caviness. These tornadoes both caused tremendous damage, destroying homes and sweeping the foundations clear of debris.
These storms also caused extreme wind damage, produced large, damaging hail in places, and caused many people to lose their homes and possessions. Dozens of tornado warnings were issued, and I have to say, the SPC got it right this time. The moderate risk seemed to be an overestimate until 5:00 came around, and the craziness began.

This is my first try at making a documentary-style video so I'm sorry if I sound a little awkward on the voiceover. Also comment if you'd like to see a full uncut footage dump from the entire day.
These mini docs are good 👍
Yes please my love go's out to all u chasers keep saving lives ❤
You've done a fantastic job.
Sounds good if you would sir. I just do not see it profitable myself risking life and what you stated your car. I know the pay scale and been through two small ones , did a bit of chasing myself but when I heard about chasers losing their insurance if insurance companies find our whom they are , if they do that is, $200 dollars on average no longer sounds good for video footage to me anyhow. I thank you for not screaming on video while providing a map of travels.
Wow meso that was a hugh one you did good on the video
Your channel is so underrated you deserve more attention
Well made video
I enjoy this video. Good content man. Glad you got away safely from the Sulphur tornado.
Just discovered your channel but I’m loving this video. Looking forward to the next one
Your editing gives me Hank Pecos vibes
You're right even his voice is very laid back and calm like Hank Pecos.
I am all for normalizing using Weatherscan music in weather documentaries. Nice work!
Solid video, stay safe out there
Just found you, awesome job!! Can't wait to see more! Btw, I liked the music 😁
I would like to see the part where you almost got into trouble...great learning experience !!
I live in pittsburg and it was a crazy day. We were so lucky that day. Great vid!
Wow! Really glad you guys are OK!
Honestly even though it’s been a week and a half I’m still trying to fully process it all. I was watching it unfold via weather streams and my own radar. I’m trying to full process all the emotions I felt seeing it happen.
They really have to put a new radar in that "dead zone" in northeast Texas. It would have given many people more time to prepare in a situation that is all too common in this part of the country.
Wtf u weren’t effected personally and it’s a week and a half later and u still struggling with it??? Dude how sensitive are you? First time on CZcams/interaction with life????? Lol bro avoid reed timmers channel at all costs, his screaming will probably give you seizures 😂😂😂
@@oscarsweatherworld it was around us
loving the videos keep it up as a uk storm watcher i have only seen 1 or 2 funnels but never a tornado
Brividi🙏🏿🙏🏿🙈🙈🙈🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Bro we both growing at the same time, this is awesome!!!
We’ll be up there with Pecos hank in no time!
@@oscarsweatherworld yessirrr, by the way, I am currently working on a video for this event. I’m trying to have it out by Friday.
U did fine meso... keep up the great work
Your voice is soothing and if there were no other audio this could pass as an ASMR video lol
Good editing and presentation though. The music is a nice touch, and adds a suspense element. I moved to Texas from Michigan in May 2021 and I’ve been so much closer to tornadoes than I ever have before, but I still have yet to see one. One of these times I gotta just drop everything and start driving.
Living in Texas, you're bound to have one in your town in the next few years. Let's just hope it's not at your house specifically!
Very guud 👍
Great content oscar Pelkey
Did I just get doxxed?
Stay safe out there
This is your first? Not bad my friend?
It has a little bit of “Pecos Hank” vibes to it.
Thanks! I love watching Pecos Hank and took inspiration from his mini documentary-style videos.
LITERALLY WHAT I SAID! did very well!
Prayers to everyone
I was in a tornado right by the east end of the two mile bridge in East Tawakoni years ago.
If i had a little more time, i would have been able to get a great view of the storm over the lake there, but it would have made for a tough escape if things went sour.
No music plz. Good job other than that for your first time
I watch a channel called MesoHunter, your channel name is really similar haha
It looks like I’m gonna be here for a long time. I might become a regular around here. So you’ll probably see me a lot until you gain so many followers they bury me in their comments.
I’ll keep you in my notes! I always respect the people who click on the new guy who doesn’t have many views or subscribers yet. They are the reason that small channels like mine grow!
@@oscarsweatherworld I do it a lot. You’re a really small channel. But I’ve stuck around channels with way way under 1m and they grow a lot. But they can’t reach their original viewers through the ocean of new guys. That’s one of the worst parts of channel growth. Just losing all the interaction that comes with a smaller number of followers.
See you’ve already gone past the 100 subscriber mark. This won’t last long. You’ll be a larger channel super quick.
This is my home
