The thing I love about this theme, is that its a mixture of Tomb Raider Legend and Tomb Raider anniversary's music, since the stories are tied together.
The very last good Tomb Raider. This was the finale piece of what a Tomb Raider game is all about. Still has the famous tomb raider theme in it wich I miss so much in the reboots. I love this game so much. God I miss you Lara!!!

Original is perfect, manor is very pretty, you doing many different staff and discovering secrets, it has beautiful relaxing song. Real atmosphere for enjoy. And of course nostalgia.

Even though i played a sizable majority of Tomb Raider games,this is the tune that begins to play in my head when i think of this franchise. It also has such a sad feeling to it which i can't describe. I fee like tearing up right now.... This theme is Tomb Raider.
I don't know why you are saying that, you know very well all the remakes of Tomb Raider are far superior compared to the originals. Many Tomb Raider fans are dumping their original games in favour of the remakes, for the greater graphic quality, sound quality and better storyline.
It’s honestly so heartbreaking that Croft Manor burned down and Alister was killed. But in a way, that sort of gives Underworld a bittersweet conclusion to the trilogy. Lara has finally learned the truth about her mother’s death, defeated Natla, saved the world and has gone separate ways with Amanda. Her journey is finally complete. After everything, she has finally found closure and gained peace.

GOAT game with GOAT music...so many hours spent exploring the tombs and darkest caverns in this game, ands I still love it the same as ever before...no other game can beat FREAKING TOMB RAIDER!!!
as a player of TR series i feel the difference between underworld and rise of tomb raider was a the character,plot,view,atmosphere and reason every step of the title.I realize the presentation of the game on rise of the tomb raider was superb but not included the real view of the gameplay such as underworld.I wish this company of underworld,anniversary and legend will do a remake version in this new era..
I love the classic TR themes but this one is just special in it's own, I love this theme in it's own way, it reflects the dark story (perhaps darker then angel of darkness) very well, so far this is the darkest TR game imo and I love it because of this, Lara seeing her mother turned into half-zombie half-human and she had to kill her herself while chanting "this is not my mother" that moment was pure tear jerker to me but very well done too, TRU had a great story for me.
Underworld was the last great tomb raider game... The new tomb raider was not good. Too much action. All the things that i loved in this series were not in that game :( I'm crying when i hear that music because the real lara croft i grew up with is saying good bye with underworld :(:(:(:(

How fitting that there are no proper lengthy main theme songs after this on the channel. It just hit me that TR2013 doesn't really have a main title theme, just a medley of cinematic scores playing in the background, indicative of how important these songs are and why the new TR lacks small things that give it an extra memorable impact.
This is 4 years old but it still rings true. I don't understand this trend of modernizing classic games while essentially scrapping all the things that were iconic about them. Take the Resident Evil games, for example. Each game had its unique save room theme. That was a given... save room themes were as much part of an RE game as the undead. But with each new title, the themes have been pushed to the background, and have become soooo inaudible that they may as well not be present at all. The same goes for Tomb Raider. The reboot trilogy is so bland and uninspired.... it's really sad what has been done to a once iconic franchise.

I never got the chance to play the first TR games on PS1. I started playing this games when they started making them for PS and xbox, but personally i love this game. Ok so the new ones dont have puzzles as big as the original ones but lets not forget that this is only the rebirth of the character. She is on the merge of changing into the tomb raider.There has to be stages before she can make it to the character that she has to be.IMO u can't have a solid character til she has fully evolved.Then again things will never be 100% great for everybody.If the new game had this character there would be ppl saying that it's getting old and blah blah.We all have different opinions.I enjoy this game no matter what.

Underworld is the best Tomb Raider game in the series its absolutely perfect the franchise didn't need a reboot and Tomb Raider 9 and Rise of the Tomb Raider are not Tomb Raider games nor is that Lara in those games.
listening to this still today and I too think that this is the real end of tomb raider! the other new ones are just a copy and paste of a young Lara exploring survival places (what I think) tomb raider legend, anniversary, and underworld will always remain in my heart. p.s i got the original hd trylogy disc in my secret spot as a relique,even if i can't use it anymore (cause i have a ps4 now) i still conserve it,hope that they would have continued to make games like this masterpices.

Don't know why people are always complaining the only fault i found with underworld was the lack of a side-quest known as the croft manor :P i mean come on she has, "had" three mansions, but with legend i just wish it was longer & more in-depth :)

I love his work. His music gives me so much emotions unlike modern music. don't get me wrong I like some of the modern music but those singers or musicians got nothing and I mean NOTHING! on Troels. @Ultimatley agreed, it couldv'e been a bit more challenging and puzzling but I enjoyed it :) the upsidown-boat bit was my favourite part, I was blown away by escaping it and how much thought they put into it
@windynichya I don't think so. This theme is supposed to be a full circle from the first TR back to first TR. At the beginning, it pays tribute to the first TR by using the flute to play, and same at the end. However, during the track flute is gradually replaced by horns. And those horns I really associate with norse mythological summoning. It fits very well TR Underworld. The AOD track reminded me of Conan Fights Thulsa Dooms Generals. It is also a good track that fits AOD story.
