@@BoobooAndre this game came out in 1996. It was still the early days of 3D games and people were still figuring out how to really do it right.
It's okay to look at guides and walkthroughs. I used a guide for my first run through TR and TR2. Once i had the games memorized my enjoyment of them increased greatly.
Before that though i was terrified to play the game because it felt more like a horror game than a rollicking adventure.

How do I grab the bridge having trouble crossing it ? Any ideas

Change it to tank controls whenever doing hard stuff like running and grabbing on to things like the bridge. It’s a lot easier.
