Legend had one of the best soundtracks in the history of Tomb Raider, no doubt.

THE FEELINGS. I wish I could turn back time when this game came out
You know.. playing through it again just doesn't give you the same feelings. Same with the original Far Cry.
BUT one of the levels that I can remember from early on that I hate.. well particular bit in the level, is the tiger/lion whatever it is in I think the first level. There are 3 crates you must put on pressure plates then activate the door.
On the other hand the waterfall scene was breathtaking and the Japan level was perfect. Music, atmosphere, getting on that bike and 'feeling' it's power for the first time in a game where you rarely do anything other then run or walk was incredible.
I have other Tomb Raider games and they just don't compare. TRA for example felt like a pile of crap compared to this beautiful game. I just wish there was more interaction. It can feel very lonely at times.

the problem is that in this recent trilogy they took away all the sex appeal, Lara has a plain looking bitchy face and she has an almost flat ass as if she never did a squat in her life, and her bust is well, a message to all girls out there, if you got a big bust you can't do what Lara can, cause they reduced her to a C cup(and no, a C cup is a lot smaller than you think, a D cup is a lot smaller than you think, a lot)
So apparently we guys, who are the majority of the costumer base, and gamer girls out there who ideolized or looked up to Lara, can't have BOTH a beautiful, feminine looking and strong Lara Croft, because some feminists say we can't

No matter how good Uncharted is, it will never reach the heights of Tomb Raider.
I love Tomb Raider but Uncharted as an overall game has the edge for me. It's like Uncharted 1 copied Tomb Raider Legend/Anniversary/Underworld's style of gameplay but then Uncharted 2 and 3 became it's own thing which current Tomb Raider has now tried to copy and not done as good as job imo
sirpizo555 even tho the new tr n uc is totaly difrent difrent story yes similar macanics or how ever you spell but she still added things to it such as the pickaxe and if your woundring why she wasnt as scard to climb around take a look at tr4 and tr5 with the young lara doing all her parkour n jumping n stuff their for this lara was thrown into a totaly new enviroment n personaly i think tomb raider asentions would of did better

well,the one from 2013 was to show us Lara's backstory on how she becomes who she is, the sequel to it is more likely to be more "tomb raiderish" (i hope so).
they started working on it earlier this year,so,hopefully,we will have it in our hands around 2016

This is the Lara Croft that I think about and miss. When Legend came out it felt like Eidos was on the right track, but somewhere someone really screwed up. The Reboot is Tomb Raider in name only. I want the Lara/Tomb Raider we grew up with.

Exactly. This is the classic Lara I think about too. She's the best written in my opinion.
In the new Tomb Raider reboot they’re trying to show you the journey she goes through that makes her become the one we know and love. The reboot is young Lara and I have no problem with the reboot in any way. In fact the reboots give Lara depth in her character building that she was otherwise lacking before.

This thinking doesn’t work for me because the 2013 reboot is not in any way an origin story for Legend trilogy Lara. It can’t add depth to Lara because it’s a completely different and unrelated character starting from square one, in the same way that Legend Lara is unrelated to Core Lara. At least in the Legend reboot, Lara was recognisably still rooted in a similar personnage; she’s a rich and fearless English archaeologist who has loved history and sociology and tombs since childhood. The 2013 Lara ‘hates tombs’ and isn’t nonchalant/larger than life like the previous two.

I really liked Legend and Underworld for the interesting locales they brought you to. Thailand was my favorite. It was more interesting to me exploring the environments rather than shooting a bunch of guys and puzzle-less aspect of TR:2013.
I loved the Helheim level in Underworld. The sinking ship level was great too!

You have got to be kidding me dude wow i would do the same thing when i was 6,while i didnt play the song 3 times i would play atleast 1 or 2 times before starting the mission. This was my first video game and the best thing about it was the soundtrack. Damn i wish i could go back in time and experience this masterpiece again.

Anyone remembers when this game came out and a year later Eidos announced Anniversary as a celebration of the first Tomb Raider? Well, it's been 10 years since Legend already lol. Unbelievable. For some reason, I still think of this game as being a recent title even though it is pretty old, actually. I still cherish it in my heart because it was the first game that I completed and enjoyed throughout. I think it's a great place to start for new Tomb Raider fans.
Yeah, speaking of: it seems like this game has sold massively in the past years. In the "TR sales wiki" it used to say 2 million copies sold for Legend, not it says 6.4 million. That's crazy!

But with Legend it was different... the next thing i knew, i was seeing the credits. It was the first-ever Tomb Raider that i finished
