Frieren is what I think of when I tell people about anime, not what the uninitiated thinks of when they hear the word anime, which is probably Dragon Ball Z 99% of the time, or hentai the other 1%.
I can totally understand that. Frieren will definitely be an entry level anime that we’ll be recommending to just about anyone moving forward, just because it appeals to such a wide audience.
Greatest of all time? That might be a stretch but it's certainly in the top ten, maybe higher. Absolute masterpiece.
I mean, does it rly have that much competition in the fantasy category?
