- Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings In Russian is about a high school girl with silver hair who looks so beautiful that she turns heads wherever she goes. Masachika Kuze, who sits next to Alya, is an unmotivated student who just stays up late at night and is a sleepyhead at school. Alya often complains about Masachika but seems to be secretly in love with him, and occasionally makes flirtatious remarks in her native Russian language. However, she does not realize that Masachika understands Russian, and her flirty comments towards him constantly leave him appalled, even though he also harbors secret feelings towards her that he refuses to admit.

I'm already hooked on this show. It's legit
It’s very enjoyable! And it’s the main show for the season that I’m sad doesn’t have a comment section, because I’m genuinely curious about people’s opinions on it!
Ok, I am not trying to critic on this brand-new anime adaption manga based, because I know they animated so hard, and I appreciated that. Overall, the first four episodes were on FIREE, if I am being generous here. The only problem with this anime, and all other popular anime-based manga adaption is CENSORSHIP. And I hate that. Like, BRUUHHHH!!!!
The Censorship got REAL HARD on the sock incident in ep 1, I just do not get it why this stupid industry had to somehow remove that special scene in the panel where some students comes in the class while Kuze and Alya in the window. But in the official anime, COME ON MAN! A CHAIR scene!?!? That is some stupid otaku MC in every school anime. Where is the scene where Alya and Kuze in the window behind the curtains huh!?!? I hate Censorship, back then it didn't even exist yet!
I think a lot of those issues could stem from the fact that it’s Doga Kobo’s B-Team working on it, so they’re much more limited in what they can get done on a weekly basis. Especially when you consider that Oshi no Ko is their main focus at the moment!
Dude they are adapting the light novel not the manga.
The manga deviated from the original source that is the light novel.
By the way if they adapted the manga it would have been a disaster.
