I have tried and tested a handful of LED bulbs, swapped out the housing a few times as well and i have came to the conclusion that HID headlights in a stock housing is the best way to go. Doesn't matter who the LED maker is it will not work with a stock housing because it will not focus the beam straight ahead for you, instead its everywhere and it does not matter how you adjust your beam it still blinds other cars and jet liners traveling at 40,000 feet above you. I use my truck to travel along a ton of lease roads to get to drill sites and in north eastern Pa that can mean many miles of dark trails. Just run HID's along with a small light bar. This is the best result I have gotten so far.
Recon already has these available. I have them on my truck now. These are truly one of the best looking aftermarket headlights for these trucks.
How do you like the Recon ones? Assume they are the new ones with the white light bar. Hows the lighting output?
the Recon ones are identically to these. The stock light bulb is an H7 in the projector lens and it puts out the crisp straight line light out of them. I am installing HID bulbs in them soon to get better lighting. These lights really update the look of the truck.

Recon sells these i bought them for my truck they are 800 us dollars the led strip is not visible in daylight for the money you would think they would be brighter still overall looks amazing when visible

2011-2016.................... 2008-2010 is different............. makes these seem cheap if you don’t even know the years and body styles. I would get these if you made the inside lights black and not chrome. White led strip looks good!
