Oh my gooooodness, 2-hours long we've been blessed! Even makes me excited for a monday. James and Mason truly succeed my expectations in every episode. The humorous way they deliver up to date news i care about is content everyone everywhere should spoil themselves with at least once before they die. Thank you both and please never stop.
Can we get an extended bit of Maso riffing as the Cranky Knife for an hour or so. Would be amazing! Or better yet, editing Maso as the Cranky Knife into all the scenes in 'The Shadow' that feature the knife.

Ironically the guy who goes "Daryl Hammond..." on the SNL intro is now Daryl Hammond. He took over for Don Pardo, the show's original announcer who had done the job for 38 years until he died in 2014. Pardo was a NBC announcer for 70 years, with SNL being his longest running job.

The island of dr moreau with Marlon Brando has a very interesting story about its delay and development hell. There's a documentary called lost soul that describes it and its delightful. Also apocalypse now was delayed and it has an amazing documentary about it called heart of darkness
Documentary on movie delay reminds me if the movie Roar. Which I have and I never will see. But I did watch the documentary when I couldn't sleep at 4 am. Good stuff probably.

Three Kings was actually directed by David O. Russell. Spike Jonze played a soldier in the movie. Apparently Russell was such a tyrant on set that he and George Clooney got into a fistfight. They still hate each other.

TFA was such a good, exciting film... i still remember walking out of the cinema buzzing with excitement... “why is the force awakening?” “What role does rey have to play in the force?” “What has luke discovered in his journeys looking for the first jedi temple?” “How will the remnants of the new republic respond to the first order and what role will leia play?” “What secrets might be revealed about the jedi temple, the force and the history of the jedi?” What an exciting time to have been alive! Little did i know the next film would take the brilliant setup of TFA and completely ignore all of it and the third film would just be a cluster F of ridiculousness. Why nobody thought to get all of the creatives they hired in one room and hash out one complete story told over 3 films (ya know? Like a fucking trilogy!) i will never understand, and no matter how great (hopefully) the new star wars books tv shows and movies are they will never get the chance to complete the skywalker saga films with a satisfying story (since they already ruined the chance with episode 8 and 9)
