  • During a conversation with a historian in Barbados, Gwyneth learned that her great grandmother, Rosamund Stout, had been orphaned at 13 and was likely influenced by the emancipation of the black population on the island in the late 19th century.

I can relate a bit. My grandmother and her sister were left orphans when they were nine and six, after my great grandparents drowned in a boat during a storm over a Minnesota lake.

My great great grandfather was an Abandoned Infant born in the City of Torino, Italy in 1825. I pieced together this from the Allegati (attachment) of his marriage to my great great grandmother and from his entry and information from the Liste di Leva (Military Conscription) records for the City of Torino, Italy. His given name at birth was Valeriano Guglielmino. As a young married man in Prascorsano, Italy he was known as Guglielmo Valeriano. When he came to America he changed his name to William Valerio. I find, transcribe and translate documents of Italy available at Family Search. Documents in Latin, French and Italian. Without learning to do this we might never have known our true Italian ancestry as GUGLIELMINO and NOT VALERIANO let alone VALERIO ;-)

Interesting that the entry right below that of Sarah in the death records was another Stout, Samuelina Stout, age 20, daughter of Sam. She died on the 24th, just 6 days later. The witness to her death was Roebuck Stout, the same witness to Sarah’s. It doesn’t note the relationship. Was she the daughter of Sam and Sarah? She could have been named for Sam, either because she was his daughter or his niece.

Gwyneth is in some respects like Ken-of “Barbie”. She is not interesting herself so much as she is very “interested” at times.

What did she really compare her privileged daughters to someone who lived long ago whos mother died who did not come from elite privileged parents who could have given them a better start in life like she herself got. Before even knowing what the girls had been through before grown . I like her even less now. She has no idea how real people live .no matter what class even middle class. She's been spending too much on things a normal person would not unless a splurge. I hope they raise the elites taxes

A mother is a mother regardless of money. I don't know why you don't like her but it makes no sense.
