Disgaea 5 Review
Disgaea 5 Complete is a port of the original PS4 game by NIS America.
It includes all of the DLC and lets you play the game on the move, that said its a 3 year old game - how does it stack up and whats the game like?
I describe the game in the video as Final Fantasy Tactics on steroids! This game gives you a huge world with endless possibilities - its a statisticians dream!
A quirky, manga influenced story - this game has well over 100 hours worth of content to get through and is a welcome addition to the growing Nintendo Switch Lineup.

I would like a simplified specific tips on unlocking item world chara world sending the squads out alot of this game is huge in depth I want to get a rough idea on how it all works. Most of the videos I have seen are so non relating to my questions it gets frustrating. So I just keep grinding learning as much as I can. I realize this game is a universe in itself bit I would appreciate a two to 3 minute overview on each feature it's a big game but I'm really impressed with it I think I bought my switch at the right time..
Yes it was the second game i bought for my switch. I would like to see a detailed yet summarized comparison with xenoblade chronicles 2 and disgaea5. I think I went to disgaea5 due to the strategy like in my fav XCOM games. I felt the story in xbc2 was so in depth that once I beat the game i was worried there wouldn't be able to enjoy it. Disgaea5 seemed to have more depth and repeatability but I can never find A video that really actually says what do you do after you beat xeno2. Is that game over or is there like a hard mode? No one us answering those questions I wish someone would

David Park I'd advise picking up Disgaea 4 on the PS3 or its updated port on the Vita, it's probably the best in the whole series and it shouldn't be missed if you've played previous titles.
Great review Dood. Picked this up in the sale last week and, although I wasn't sure what to expect, I'm loving it so far. There's bucketloads of systems to get your head around but kudos to the developers for balancing it so that you can still enjoy the game as a casual or hard-core fan of the game.

played the demo for a day and I had to have it. new toJRPGs after I played Tokyo Mirage Sessions and honestly I finally found something that could follow it up in sillyness yet depth of combat

Emmia Stratford yes I think it can be a bit intimidating, though it does a decent job of letting you play your way it still has a lot to it and makes it time consuming between fights to tweak and equip etc
This game was the reason I picked up my Switch! One of the best games of all time!

I love this game one of my first switch games I bought digitally. Has all of the bells I love about XCOM FFT and FIRE EMBLEM. Also with the quest system it feels like a sort of Monster Hunter style. I am finding some of the mechanics very in depth bit I wanted a really rich role playing game. I want to unlock item town but it hasn't unlocked yet. I have grinded my low level characters replaying all the previous stages with just one or two characters to get them equal to my top characters. A great evolution of a classic game of chess. I also have been training with weaker proficient weaponry and it allows them to unlock attacks of varied requirements. Getting used to the innocent abilities which are found on items. I've only scratched the surface but I am enjoying the grind each battle seems different the AI seems unique and seems to be living in the world reacting to your strategies and that is awesome. I don't know bit hopefully they will add a feature to allow for a multiplayer local the nether worlds acting like a domination grand strategy each war turn you gain HL from your conquered territories. I wish I could contact the developer. It would be nice to see a series get a massive add-on a custom character creator since this is a battle between demons it would be nice to create your own maps or have it randomly generate them there's huge potential here I just hope it doesn't get held off till disagea 6. This is my first game I could have chosen xenogear saga 2 which seems like it's more linear disagea seems to have way more to offer. I wonder what other games will come out final fantasy Tactics was such a revolutionary concept I am glad to see this one have it as well it's like a 3D chess game. I hope the developers will consider these very basic suggestions but I would appreciate a clarification on item town it seems like it's similar to adventure mode in Diablo 3. If disagea 6 considers a more live action experience that might be interesting if they offer it in addition kind of like a battle game. For example it could be like the old archon series where you would move your pieces around the board like a chess game but if you got into battle it would go to an area match like a 3d mortal kombat stage I think that would be very interesting.

SwitchWatch oh definitely CZcams stream sometimes or not CZcams stream I can't seem to get my mixer or the switch to work with the switch but I am like a game connoisseur like I'm like a rare wine collector when it comes to games I've played video games since the Atari ColecoVision era and arcade and Elite dangerous is like a true Evolutions the original that came out in 1984 I played on a Commodore 64 for the original Elite game that was wireframe Graphics that had the worst graphics but the imagination that I had just took it to a new level it was a great game and there's been others through the course of the last for 30-40 years I find a lot of game developers especially the AAA studios are becoming extremely lazy and lack innovation this is why I got Disgaea 5 really got my eyes opened to practically Limitless game that I'll probably never complete for hours and hours I just unlocked the item World very interesting kind of wondering when I'm going to unlock Chara world I'm wondering if I boost an item up and then sell it if it'll give me like massive Howell credits or whatever but I'm trying to strategically formulate ways to gain more hell money which is an interesting term for the currency in this game please forgive my voice recognition I find it easier to relay my comments a lot faster this way it doesn't always get what I I'm thinking and saying. I've been an Xbox one fan or an Xbox fan since the original generation I got out of PS2 because of the issues of have and the fact that the company wanted me to send back the system and pay them another $180 on top of the 600 that I already paid twice for them to upload a bios file to allow me to play the games that were giving me constant disc read errors the company didn't seem to think that that was important enough to keep a customer so that's why I don't deal with PlayStation anymore. My first console I ever bought was of the original NES and Super Mario 3. I wanted to get a new Nintendo system because Nintendo has always been the leaders of innovation and very unique gameplay very unique game ideas and seems to be more of a magical world to delve into then some of the other competitors in this is why I kind of wanted to have the Nintendo switch I also have the 3 DS it's technically a 2 DS XL but it will play the 3 DS games anyway there's just something special about the Nintendo lineup and game variety that I really really like the Mario + Rabbids is my first-ever game bought for the switch because it reminded me of XCOM meets Mario's so I thought it was a great idea anyway thanks for thinking my comment was really good I hope you like this one too and have a great day

I got a question I got it on PS4 and in PS4 you can speed up battle speed times 4 is it still there?

Nice review. I think it'd be one better if the intro and outro music were toned down. Admittedly not to my taste to begin with but it is louder than the other content. While I'm nitpicking, it's pronounced like dis-guy-uh. The Japanese name is 魔界戦記ディスガイア or makai senki disugaia. There is a ge sound in Japanese so what I said above at least reflects the creator's intentions.

i like those rpgs who are made or play in a square area. I loved stella glow this is until today one game i never forgot. and even if its not so on the newest stands ( it came out for 3 ds) graphic is manga style and music and story made me love it. also stella glow is to play like final fantasy tactics. that's i think are good points i could love it. if its really good then the high price is ok for me. i had the demo and will try it. i knew what i am searching for so lets check...by the way, i hope so so much they made a 1 to 1 convert of ff13 lightning returns or best the trilogy. i would wish it so much. i saiy the same once about sr4 and they made it and i think it' s a hit, i was very lucky about.
I am very late in playing this recently. I still currently on the prelude stage while working on the DLC maps.
As of right now the game is $40 and it was even worth it at $60 at the time.

I'm glad to see that this game seems to be getting good reviews all over, my only advice is to play the extra content not just the story part since the story part I consider it to be sort of a tutorial lol, it took me over 200 hours to kill Baal, and much more to kill the ultimate boss, so if you think when you finish the story you are done well I'm here to tell you that you haven't done anything yet.

TheMissKittyStar we have loved so many games but for me I just cannot wait to complete Skyrim again but this time on the move! My channel partner will have to hold the fort while I play that lol

Well I appreciate the community of Gamers worldwide there seems to be a kindred language able to be exchanged for our love of this great passion and pastime. I look at some of the garbage games that are coming from the studios that should be doing it better than everybody else for example the Battlefront Reincarnation of the Xbox One and the second one I do not understand why the classical Galactic Conquest mode which is the mode that I was so looking forward to with the enhanced graphics and updated look and sound and was ultimately disappointed and I stupidly bought them if I was in any position of power ATA the entire development team for Battlefront would be fired on the spot or the game wouldn't be released until it had that mode in there even if it was for a nostalgic appeal it should have been part of it because that's the mode that really got me into Battlefront and I do not understand what the hell these people are the only exception is 1984 classic Elite reimagined in today's Hardware capabilities Elite dangerous accept no substitutes. Let's not forget the fumble that Gearbox Software did with aliens colonial Marines it got to the point where the only game mode I played for that was the bug hunt DLC by myself because that's what to me would be a lot of fun is playing a mode like that I do not understand why these game developers do not put in bots so that if people don't want to experience the grief of PVP or get comfortable and confident in playing PVP style modes that they should be here have they should have that available to them so that they can learn and grow to become challenging opponents. One of the best games that were PVP oriented but also allowed for the bots so that you can simulate an online game was the Unreal Tournament series and I really don't understand why we haven't seen a new Refrigeration of that for the Xbox because that was a game I love playing with Bots and when I started owning them I would increase the difficulty to keep it challenging the AI is possible to create I just think game developers are lazy especially in the big studios and I wish I could do what they could do because half the games that are coming out if I had any say in them would be sent right back to the drawing board until it was a Polish product and having an essence of replay value like Disgaea 5 or you can keep coming back to it and back to it and not be bored of it because there's just so much to offer and that's where I think we should buy Disgaea 5 and we should buy the original Battlefront for the development team ATA to show them what Battlefront should have been because these Visions they seem to have our completely wrong in my opinion. If Galactic Conquest mode would have been in the two new battlefronts that came out for the Xbox and Playstation I would play Battlefront more than I do now.
