Hey all thanks for watching, what do you think and have you played the game?
SwitchWatch played the game for ps4 the title itself is quite good even though as you said it got confusing at certain points. I feel as though they couldve made far better use of the encyclopedia.
As you already know from my own comments on this video I've got the game on the switch and I've noticed something. every single battle style aside from personal quirks the characters have play exactly like the Dynasty Warriors roster of the three kingdoms China historical Warriors. For example Medusa plays exactly like Diao Chan aside from the whole sight of petrification bladed whip and all.
Great review. My only complaint would be the loud intro and outro, they busted by eardrums. xD

Very nice review it wasn't too long and nicely structured. You stated your opinion very nicely you were quick and to the point. The only thing i'd call you out for was around 3:40 with the main character's introduction his name isn't actually Praetor that's just Nero's way of calling you Master the main character's actual name is Hakuno Kishinami just thought I'd clear that up other than that great job subbed and will look out for more vids in the future

SxcWaluigi I found myself getting more into it as time went on... as someone new to the series my first couple of hours were seriously confused but now I have found myself intrigued, I might have to pick up some of the series
Yeah, coming in after playing Fate/Extra really helps you keep up with the characters and why they are acting like they do.
Great review and really appreciate the honesty. I'm a big fan of the Fate Zero series and have always been a fan of Dynasty warriors so think this could be a great game to play. Keep up the good work!

Keep in mind it's part of the Fate/Extra story that was on he psp, so if you want a better idea of the story before playing then looking up what happens in that game may help

I enjoyed this game for what it was... Hope they release like a Complete edition of Hyrule Warriors on the Switch... That game stole all my time as far as a Warriors game goes...
Beavernator in the end I found myself drawing out all of the modes, nice for a casual slash!

When I played the first Fate Extra on PSP I was as lost as you were XD. I have never seen the series or manga so I was quite lost n.nU. I finally got the gist of it towards the end, specially on my second run n.n
I bought the game today but not because I'm a hardcore fan of the series which I'm not considering I've only seen a few episodes of Fate/Stay Night but that's it but the thing that attracted me was the Warriors style gameplay and I've never turned down a good Hack N' Slash Action game under the Warriors banner. Here's a few or so games I've played that are Warriors games: Dynasty Warriors 7 Xtreme Legends, Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends, Samurai Warriors 3, Warriors Orochi 3 both the Hyper and Ultimate Editions and Hyrule Warriors. so If I come across a Warriors game I never turn it down.

Well it lives up to the expectations of the gamers who play it for the Warriors gameplay style and I'm enjoying it. Apparently the story mode starts off revolving around Nero Claudius the fifth emperor of the Roman Empire and I find it funny that a male tyrant with a hidden compassion to him is a female servant in the game. I've almost finished Chapter 1 Of The Story with only 1 or 2 battles remaining.
i plan on picking this up but splatoon comes first

Natalie Halling it's a quote standalone game even though it's part of the fate universe so don't let the fact you have not played the previous ones put you off.
it takes an hour and a half for the dialog to end. every signal dialog takes foooooooooooooooooooooooooooooor ever

I really enjoy this game which is odd cause i really hate reading whwn it comes to most games (aside from pokemon zelda etc) but i dunno i feel like of this game was dubbed it wouldnt be the same. I do like how you get 3 different stories even tho they are essentially the same. I enjoyed the anime tho something about having all these heros amd even anti heros coming together to fight whether theyre real or fake. What does throw me off is like 3 characters that im aware of genders are switched from male to female like king Arthur and his son (i always forget it mordrid or sonething) and nero from this game is gender switched (not that im complaining)

The mustve been severely nerfed in order to make it work in the Switch
Kelly Fitzpatrick work it does and it works well however, you are correct that some compromises with these ports are usually made. Wether its a lesser visual fidelity or slightly lower frame rates or a combination of both. A sacrifice has to be made somewhere as the hardware of course is not as powerful as say a PS4. For many it's worth it for the flexibility.

Oscar Leon it's 30fps, as an action game I found the input speed right - doesn't cause issues like a 3rd person shooter or driving game for example.

Teddy VL it has some elements with the levelling and skills, so you can deffo compare it to an action rpg. But it's closer to hyrule warriors or dynasty warriors in that it's an action slasher
SwitchWatch that's what I'm afraid of 😪 not a fan of those dynasty warrior, button mashing games.
Teddy VL then this might not be for you, the combos break up the combat but it is quite button mashy!

20 hours? No thanks, seems to be very little content in the game. Compared to something like Hyrule Warriors that have easily 200 hour with all the stuff you can do in that game. Might wait on a discount.
I think it's just 20 hours if you play through the main story and nothing else. When I played it on the Vita I think I clocked in at about 50 hours total; 30 for the main story (I tried to get a perfect EX rank on every level) and 20 for the side stories (again, getting a perfect rank). You could probably add another 15 to 20 hours if you want to beat every level on the highest difficulty since the PS4/Vita version has a trophy for that.

ArngrimTV yes it's 20 hours for the main campaign and as speedy said another 30 or so with side content
For what it's worth as I'm not super into the genre, it has what is easily the best plot and dialogue of any Musou-style game I've ever played, with some really great pathos and comedy. Any time Elizabeth is on screen with Nero or Tamamo is guaranteed to be either hilarious or super-dark and it sometimes seamlessly switches between the two moods.
So i thought this game was a switch exclusive. I was watching a different review and was like damn this game looks good, look at the description and it said ps4 smh. I come here and see this smh. Should be a crime for nintendo to charge full price for worse games smh
Eddie Perkins yeah the price point stings for this, I think they could of released in a bit cheaper for sure
pretty sure from what i read, it includes about 30$ worth of DLC - the pc port is about 50$ atm, with another 50 in DLC on steam. Could be wrong, but that's what i read, which is why i bought it on the Switch and not the pc.
