Don't see why they didn't stick with the Xbox 360 slim hard drive slot, it was so much better that way 😁
Coz external hdds
you can just buy an external HDD or SSD from any websites or even BJ's you just plug it in and in pretty sure you can bring it around wjth games installed over to your freinds house just need the disj you wont need to wait for install times and game updates.
+TheDerpyCreeperDude thanks bro how much do they normally cost
there it is, the dumbest thing ive seen all day. if you knew anything about computers you wouldnt be asking such a stupid question
Actually it would have been smart if they did something like PlayStation 3 did with theirs. Remove a cover flap, remove 1 screw and there's the hard drive cage, etc. Or on the PS4, you push down on the left side top a little and slide and there's the hard drive. Course they hope you send it in for repair so they can possibly charge you $$ if it's out of warranty.
WTF! Did I just learn how to perform surgery on Megatron...
+CZcams5000 hahaha you know what's funny is I'm playing Transformers Devastation right now lol.
+CZcams5000 BEST COMMENT 2015!!! :D :D :D :D :D
yes
+CZcams5000 ....I almost spit out my oatmeal reading that...LOL
+Lance Cryor Agent Smith: Me too.
WOnder why Microsoft made it so complicated to get to the hard drive. Sony went the better route here.
I think it's for like hacking reasons or pirating or something, Microsoft has been having problems like that for awhile so they just took the easier route with an external hard drive
its actually faster over usb 3.0 thanks to both systems cheaping out and using 5400rpm drives that only do sata ii, you can add an external SSD with an enclosure that does usb 3.0 w/uasp that is worlds faster. its so much faster it removes the studder in fallout 4 on the xbone
360 was really easy
The Escaper yea, and only 3x more for a proprietary drive
+Nicholas Reichart Yea but a SSD is really limited to a particular Write/Read Cycle. On my PC my SSD died after 1 year. Would rather buy a HDD
How to change hard drive on ps4:
1. Remove plastic cap
2. Remove old hdd
3. Install new hdd
4. Install plastic cap
How to change hard drive on PC
1. Open case
2. Disconnect old drive
3. Connect new drive
4. Close the case
Pretty much lol
How to change hard drive on Xbox

5. Remove a billion screws
5. Open metal shell
6. Disconnect wires
7. Remove Drive
8. Screws
9. Disconnect old drive
10. Connect new drive.
11. Umm, so, how do i get it back together...
How to change hard drive on Xbox
1. Get ready to spend 30 mins doing things very slowly and hoping you didn’t break any wires then spend an hour trying to figure out how to format the new hard drive
Super easy to follow - thanks! I'm an amateur with tech but I completed this in ~45 minutes.
Very detailed and organized instruction video on replacing the XBOX One Hard Drive, I will admit however replacing the Hard Drive on the PS4 is not only much easier and user friendly but general tools can be used instead of having to use the specialized tools in order to get to the HD. 2 questions I have however...
1. Will this same procedure work for the XBOX One S
2. Can you use any Laptop HD instead of a specialized formatted one like the ones from the XBOX 360 days.
again great Video.
the heck? its muuch easier to remove the hard drive on xbox 360 slim than this..
Get a hard drive
swahini do you think a better car wouldnt be more difficult to fix?
Luis Guerrero no i think they'd make it easier than the last version.
Even on the xbox one s you have to take it a part lol bad design by microsoft in my opinion they are trying to copy apple they don't want you to get in side to change anything lol
Madman antics but its nessessary when to clean the damn thing lol
Great video but putting it back together is difficult. I found a simple option. turn the top cover upside down and release the front panel from the top panel by pulling up on the tabs. Then put the front panel in back on place first. This way the top drops right in like a breeze.
the external drive is a nice idea for added storage and avoiding all these steps to upgrade ...but doesnt help you out when the internal drive fails
my old hard drive burned but i bough now and i will only swap them directly
Didn't know I'd have to preform surgery on the thing.
Thank you for having this video up here saved my Xbox one!
Excellent video. Pretty much straight forward.
If you're going to do this put in an SSD.
You should never need a video guide to replace such a simple component, big design flaw
***** Exactly what i was thinking (Despite it having that silly case around the HDD, it was still miles easier)
+Glub Glob the downloads can be quite long for some people though. That's the problem with them not making it easier to change the hard drive.
Wholeheartedly agree. The Xbox 360 slim removable HDD design was brilliant! All we had to do was simply pop off a cover on the side & pull the tag to remove the HDD & best part no tools or voiding the warranty necessary. Now they expected us to get by with a 500 GB hard drive we cant even remove on a system that requires games to use up to 30 GB to install forcing is to buy an external HDD after racking up 5 to 10 games? What were they thinking? Obviously greed was involved in the design here. At least the One S is improved but I still miss the removable plug & play HDD the Xbox 360 Slim had.
they do it purposley so that there is a good chance you will screw something up or break something if you decided to take it apart. that way microsoft doesnt have to replace your console because you "tampered" with it. it saves them alot of money they are scum
If you are dumb you don't have to do it. A console is not a computer where you are supposed to mess much with its drive.
Thanks for the walkthrough! I had to use a T8 bit for the wifi card.
Whoever designed this was a big vhs video recorder fan lol
+Meman Hauman Hello Mein Brother
😂
one thing i loved about previous gen consoles it was one screw on the ps3 and a clip on the xbox 360 now you have to go through all this
+craig jeans the price of "upgrading" my friend.
Well ps4 is just like 4 screws now
+TheAllhailben7 thats why i love ps4
All you have to do on a ps4 is pop the side plate off
I like the tutorial.. though I wished Microsoft would have consider time as a factor for upgrading. This is easy but far more time consuming than it really needed to be I suppose.
Great Guide! I got an XBox One for $60 at a pawn shop.. and I had the old non working HD out in about 15 min ;) plan to flip this bad boy.
Do you need to format it or run some sort of script to get the Xbox to recognize the new drive?
Ps4 3 min
Xbone 1 Hour
Lol that's says it all then 3 mins think it took less time to take ps network down didn't it haha
Xbox360 s one minute 😂
@@asadraza8667 but benfited Microsoft.
Emil Marcussen x-bone lol
Paul Buckley me
but then you will need to download the OS for the xbox. Where can i find it?
you can't download it. you'd have to clone the original drive to the new one and expand the storage partition
you can Download the os back to the new hdd without cloning it. simply go to micro soft website and download it from there then put it onto a USB. there's a guide there on how to set your Xbox into factory mode. I've just done so no need to clone any thing. take 30 minutes.
Kemo can you explain a lil bit more detail please..
Use this video to ope your Xbox. Once you've changed your had go to micro soft website and search Xbox one USB reset . There's a guide there but you will need to have a Internet connection while in order to download the os back on. The USB is used just to start the process of.
support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-one/console/reset-factory-defaults-using-usb-flash-drive
i really appreciate this video...do what you do!
what hardrive brand do you recommend and do i have to adjust any options on the console afterwards
*Breaks it*
-To reassembly just do the same backwards or either watch our other video on how to repair an Xbox
Marketing intensifies
How much would it cost to have a professional do this for me bc I don't wanna take any chances with my Xbox
More than the price of a used Xbox one
i was contemplating doing an ssd swap, but after watching this i didn't want to dissect a freaking terminator thank you very much.
I feel ya
Good to see M$ kept it real simple for Xbox owners. That looks like a pain.
The hard drive has to be formatted and partitioned before installation otherwise you will get an EXXX error.
where do we download the software when we swap our new hard drive with the original xbox one hard drive
Android Guy real question here, did u get the answer yet?
czcams.com/video/IAi57y2z34A/video.html
I think i am doing it today putting my xbox one day one on ebay
Rudynicolas thanks
Rudynicolas does the xbone support ssd?
Needed to replace my garbage original HDD on my Xbox one (Original) this video definitely helped a lot. You will the T heads or else it might get tricky to open the box. Thank you!
Was it difficult to format the hard drive itself?
It's more interesting about this that you have a supermarket phone which is revealing at the top of the screen which is located where your head has turned on the one minute 26 indicating with your lips as well it's amazing how somebody's body features actually can reveal the studio behind all this
As someone who has replaced the hard drive in my PS3 multiple times all I can do is face palm at Microsoft when watching the video.
...And I'm not the type of person who shies away from taking thing apart (This might actually be nicer than what they did with the 360).
+Accuracy158 I had to basically take the 360 apart just to change the fan, so I know what you mean. Was worth it though, definitely runs cooler since the fan moves more air. A lot less thermal throttling taking place. I should've changed the thermal compound while I was in there...
the 360 was wayyyyyy easier
Accuracy158 360 and PS3 were very easy, but due to hacking both companies have tried to make it a pain to do
well i was gonna put a 1TB hard drive in my xbox one. but i may just do a 4TB external instead.
Threat video. What's the size of that hard drive? The dimensions? I have a 2.5" data drive but its 15mm, will that fit in there?
just a question what about the os for your xbox that is on the hard driver how do you transfer that to the new hard drive
Or just get a PC so you don't have to fucking cripple your Xbox One.
Ps4
Yes but: Good Gamer-PC: Over 1000 bucks
Xbox One: 330 bucks
Shadyxv 15 Lol no you can get a gaming PC way more powerfull then a PS4 or Xbox One for $400-500
Mabirc Min I'm not a master at pc knowledge but my pc was 600 and it plays most games at 1080p 60fps and I have an ps4
Im talking about € dont know if its less expensive than it is in Europe. I dont know but every "build-your-own-pc"- tutorial shows pcs for over 1000€s though im no a pc-freak too. Well a good Intel Core processor can have the price of an Xbox One then add the gpu, the ram, the hdds, the mainboard, the fan, the tower case, the power supply...
And dont forget a mouse and a keyboard! Well if you find cheaper components then well done ! Though i would always prefer a console than a Pc cause i know if i run a game i can be sure it works!
Damn I thought it was “removable” like the 360 (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Please excuse my ignorance, but I currently have my XBOX one with the stock internal HDD but using a SSD as an external using a SATA-USB 3.0 adapter.
Would I see any real benefit from replacing the internal with my ssd as opposed to just keeping my setup the way it is?
will any size hard drive work and will you have to flash the drive? because I bought a cd drive for my xbox 360 and it did not work because I either had to flash the drive or tear apart the cd drive and swap out the circuit board so the xbox will work and it voids the warranty on the cd drive.
That is way more complicated than I thought it was going to be. Xbox 360 hard drives were way easier to remove!
Yeah but can you clone the new hard drive to work???
Was searching for the answer here too xD
did anyone figure how to clone yet?
Haven't tried and IFixit doesn't seem to answer anyone's questions. You might want to check out the website and ask someone in the thread at the bottom of the page.... www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Xbox+One+Teardown/19718
Thank you Very Informative 😎👍
Is this worth it?
For the additional cost for the hard drive anyway should I just get an external one?
Dam thank god the ps4 was designed for easier access to swap a HD.
In the time it took her to get the HDD out I changed ad formatted the HDD in my PlayStation
Good Video, I would just buy and external hard drive, a lot easier just plug and go! Still nice to see how to do it.
Hello what about the Xbox one Slim will this work for that as well? Because i would like to change it from a moving hard drive to a SSD hard drive.
Or just plug in externtal hard drive . Even easier then taking half of your xbox apart
just get an external one why risk breaking it
The risk isn't very high, it's not even as hard as fixing apple products.
dummyspitter It's not hard at all. You just have to watch a video guide and be fearless.
ITs to get the os to run faster so its smooth, you cant run the os on an external drive
I really do appreciate the informative video. I was thinking about buying an xbox one but guess I'll just stick with ps4, they're so much more user friendly.
Probably should go with a PC if your criteria for purchase is how user serviceable they are.
Is the OS stored on the Xbox One original HDD? Will we have to install the latest updates again once we have installed the new HDD?
They need to make a video comparing an internal SSD with an external SSD, to see the different speed by replacing the internal HDD.
USB 3 doesn't transfer files nearly as fast as SATA 3 does. 90% bump in speed from using SATA 3. However, the hard drive is the limiting factor. Installing an SSD as the internal HDD would bump your speed to ... ungodly speeds.
Sparatan117 exactly why not make an update so we can replace the internal HD with an SSD, or even better an M.2 with an adapter as if it was an SSD.
M.2 -> Sata 3 would negate most of the speed of the M.2. You're best bet is to just replace the internal HDD with an SSD... preferably 1TB or bigger...
It depends on the speed of the hard drive and the cache size.
By default, all Xbox One consoles come with a 5,400 RPM hard drive. Most 1TB drives sold today are 7,200 RPM (faster read/write) but 5,400 RPMs are cheap... thus... yeah.
Now a Solid State HardDrive (even at 500GB) is going to be 3x faster than a 7,200 RPM HDD. Once you get to that speed, other parts of the computer/console start becoming the limiting factor. I would bet that the ram in the X1 would be the next limiting factor ... if there's a 5,400 RPM HDD in the X1, I'll bet Microsoft didn't even put above 1660 MHz Ram in (slowest read/write)... because it's cheap...
So to answer your question... yes and no haha... Depends on the speed of the drive. :)
Sparatan117 well regardless of how the RAM will limit the speed, of SSD is 3 times faster, but the RAM allows twice that speed, is a very fast improvement, and they should definitely make an update to allow replacing the internal HDD with an SSD, having an external SSD through 3.0 USB is just not the same.
What the heck Microsoft, no wonder Sony is kicking your butt! Why is it so much of a chore to replace the HDD? PS4 supports HDD upgrades and if you're not willing to do the same then you are causing problems for yourself.
Jeff Holmström
I think the xb1 is big enough without any additional accessories!
+mfaisal105 a 500GB drive is big enough? Did you by chance just mean the size of the console? It's designed like that to give it better cooling, runs cooler than a ps4 if I'm not mistaken.
ArtisChronicles Read what I wrote, its clear!
you can just transpant the internal drive from your old console into a newer version right and will this effect my account as in will i lose all my acheivements etc pls
Gwandelin, You're the best!
Much easier, faster, and simpler to just add a USB 3.0 external HDD. Bonus points: USB 3.0 has a faster data transfer rate than SATA II. (Games may load faster from an external drive than the internal.)
It's not that hard to take it apart... I've seen worse.
On what device?
360
Wii
Not hard but alot of effort for a hdd
Do i have to replace the interal hdd already in there? or does external work just the same, because last time i tried an external, only could put stupid pictures n sht on there not the installed games.
Does it have dual sata connectors and power for each? If not, how would a load an xbox image with a new drive?
Or you could buy an external hard drive which will also speed up your xbone
+Alex Hansen and you can take your games that are on the Ext hd and play them on other xbox ones (logged in)
i agree...like she didn't know, instead of this she taught everyone who watched this video how to perform Xbox surgery
Yes but no one wants to do that they want a clean wire free look to the console
You can buy add-ons that will connect to the Xbox console and look like part of it, but will serve as a USB 3.0 hub and hard drive enclosure. I have one. You wouldn't be able to tell it's not just a slightly wider Xbox One. Look for the Collective Minds enclosure.
I want to know more. message me with. some info on this big guy
omg... so glad I bought a PS4 :))
What type of hdd should I buy to put into my xbox one? Looking at around 1tb
Hello exchanging question? can you take an Xbox one hard drive T1 and put it in another xbox one 500g?...plan on buying a replacement..would it need to be formatted?
Cliff Johnson no
Why the hell does MICROSOFT have to be so fucking complicated all the time
Or you can buy a ps4. Take out one Philips head screw, and your done.
+DeucesWildGaming ikr
+DeucesWildGaming or buy a PC and become master race
Weega already am a part of the master race. I just also have a ps4 :P
+DeucesWildGaming or you can get a pc give it the proper hard drive when you buy it
uppishcub1 If you read the comments i have a pc. 2 actually. lol
nice video good to know but u should innform the watchers that u can also use 3 external hard drives on the xbox. theres a minimum of 256gb to use as hard drive on xb1 and u must format it to install games on it. ;)
Does it works also on xb-one upgraded to the new Experience Dashboard (Nov 2015)?
I don't get you guys, complaining about how hard it is to pop some plastic covers, unplug few wires and unscrew few torx screws.
Generation spoon-fed.
+Arkadiusz Dzik Thank you THANK YOU... jesus I thought I was the only one here feeling that way...
+Arkadiusz Dzik totally agree I watched this and wondered what was all the bitching about. Anyone that's put together a PC or taken a laptop apart this is child's play
+Arkadiusz Dzik i dont think its the difficulty people are complaining about. its more about the time required and the fact that you have to disassemble half your xbox to get to the hdd and then the warranty is void.
ps3 and ps4 both have very simple hdd upgrades. plastic cover then a couple screws. on pc (mine anyways) is the easiest since i have hot swap bays.
the hdd upgrade is something they got spot on with the original 360. it was the easiest thing to do. i dont understand why they would do this. voiding the warranty just to get more storage. and not everyone wants to have a external hdd for it either.
Zepphyrr
HDD is as internal component as RAM or CPU. It should be treated the same way to be honest.
Make up your mind who you really are: a pro who whines that RAM is soldered into the mobo, or Johny-both-left-hands and USB 3.0 is all you'll ever need.
No offense intended :)
+Arkadiusz Dzik its a hdd. it should not be and never should be treated like ram or a cpu. (hotswaps come to mind) and what do you mean RAM soldered into the mobo? im not a pro and never would be but i have never seen ram soldered into the motherboard on something like a desktop. on a console ya, but you shoudlnt be messing with that anyway. all i ever said is that to upgrade your hdd in the xbox one is the most retarded thing to do and it voids warranty. the xbox one is just a flawed noisy design... and i have one. its still super easy to change and i dont think anyone here is complaining about the actual difficulty of it...
and like a said. im not a pro and never will be. but i do have experience. built 4 of my own desktop systems put larger drives in a ps3 and ps4 which were both simple to do.
and this was called by MS...non-changeable HDD??? Its easier than getting inside a laptop or a smartphone. Gizaz MS
+Asgaard Sephiroth nice name but just FYI even a macbook pro unibody is easier than this... even removing the dvd-rom in a macbook pro and replacing it with a 2nd hard drive is easier than this. It isn't hard but it certainly is time consuming.
+Justin Martone oups, are you serious? I didn't know that. Thanks for the point mate
+Justin Martone It can be formated before changing HDD.
***** To Linux. Or that's what I have seen on replacing the HDD video.
+Justin Martone And how dumb is that? Not having the option to fix your xbone if the hdd takes a dump
Can you use any Xbox one disk drive for this? I found one for the Xbox one S... but I have this Xbox that’s in the video.
can i replace the 500 GB default HDD inside my X1 console with an aftermarket 2 TB hard disk? or do i have to use an identical disk?
They went out of their way to make replacing this HDD user-unfriendly. On this front, Sony have had the right idea for a long time. Even the original PS3 allowed you to replace the HDD by opening the clearly labelled bay and removing a few screws. What's more, although it could only use proprietary drives (without some tinkering), the 360 Slim had an easy to replace HDD. They've done it this way entirely on purpose to make people void their warranty if they decide to try it. My laptop's HDD is easier to replace than this, and my laptop requires me to remove 8 screws and split it apart with a pry tool.
It really not that complicated guys..
+SuperChamp - changing the fan in the 360 was actually more complicated, I shit you not.
Its not complicated. Its alot of fuckin effort to change a god damn hdd.
Spelling is hard
Is it worth?
is there a hard drive in specific that j need to purchase or it can be any hard drive?
dont know why everyone is whining, it literally took about 10 minutes lol. ty for the tutorial. now to format the new hd :)
All that just to replace it, I'd rather buy another Xbox with increased space.
The Xbox One also works with External Hard Drives. So this is kinda useless unless you really want to avoid your Warranty. Plus it costs nearly the same as buying a normal Internal Hard Drive and its really simple to install Plug in and done.
+CrazyGamerKid there's a western digital 4TB external that's going for a good price. so yeah, I fully support using external drives to expand capacity.
ArtisChronicles Its a awesome alternative. But I still prefer internal hard drives
No wonder u like the Illusive Man. -- Go on buy the xbox with Larger hard drive like all the other stupid people.
Thomas-TJ- Dj Carboncyber What is the Illusive Man go to do with Xbox hard drives and how am I stupid? Let me guess, a PS4 fan-boy?
Just get a wii
said no one ever, lol
Is there a video for the One S to do the same as the XBOX One are the access the same between the original and smaller consoles?
I upgraded to a 1tb hdd for my ps4 and I'm glad it was way easier than this plus it doesn't void out the warranty
Why would Microsoft not allow us to change our hard drives...
And no, I won't cut my Xbox One in half to upgrade it.
u can buy an external harddrive and use that for the same price as a regular hardrive.
joshua powell oh.... Well I don't really need it now but thanks!
just switch to ps4
same here not worth the risk I'm bad at taking electronics apart
+93grandamgt yes same here id rather buy a external hard drive than do this can u imagine it going wrong and ripping a cable its better paying £100/$100 than pay for a whole new xbox
Should've just got a PS4
Just replaced a broken wd blue hdd with a hgst from a ps4 :-) The xbox was just outside warranty (6 weeks) and microsoft wanted €120,- for a refurbished swap. So glad I tried this instead :-D
I have 2 questions about xbox one :
can you install a SSD directly in the Console?
can i install a hard drive with windows in to Console and will it run Windows?
just use that USB 3.0 external HDD lol
And you keep your warranty
+Justin Martone Unless if you format it manually.
CovertBrony well no it will make it faster a little bit the thing is the only way to format it correctly is if you boot into linux and do it manually so it can be formated correctly for the OS but if you use a USB you dont need to do all of those stuff and it will be plug and play the xbox will format it and only takes a few minutes
LiteGaming True. But if the problem is the HDD itself. Then it's just the internal HDD. Otherwise if it's just storage wise. Then you would've been right.
***** I thought it was for the PS4 only....
What you need for the ps4: a screwdriver
Yeah and add to the already massive console and power supply. Not a combination I want to put on a desk.
thats nice but this isnt a ps4 video
Just bought a new xbox one slim. I salvaged the hard drive out of the old xbox one as the disc drive was damaged, and tossed everything in the trash except for the hard drive. Any suggestions on what to do with the hard drive. Its perfectly fine, are there places that may purchase it or what?
Can you please do an update on how to do this to the "Xbox One S"? Thank you!
Or i can buy a external hard drive....and skip many of these
Sonny Mazz even if you remove the internal harddrive and its not there anymore then put the external will it work
why on earth you want to do that???. unless you want to repair it. just buy an external hard drive.
Replacing it with a faster hard drive or SDD.
@RuralGayBoy-Cody i know late but just in case you not found the ansaw.
by preformance do you mean load time or FPS....
load time yes of cause SSD are always faster then a HDD
FPS * *Yes* * but only on very few game like fallout4, because HDD has issue with handing small file and since big world map tends to have lots of small file HDD can cause some FPS drop or even 2 second freeze as it load in the map.
Video here showing what i mean for fallout4
czcams.com/video/IB8ZyFt-LHc/video.html
So it does indeed use a Laptop SATA HDD (2.5") & not a Desktop SATA HDD (3.5"), meaning the best possible internal HDD upgrade outside of the new 1TB SSD's would be the Spinpoint M9T 2TB edition (same HDD you can max out a PS4 with)?
I've been using an msata ssd + usb 3.0 msata ssd enclosure since Nov '14.
But looked this up because I'm interested to know if a SSD swap will work? Yes, spinning drives are cheaper, but very interested in going ssd with internal drive.
I wouldnt. Yes it would be quicker load and write times but an ssd has a finite amount of reads and writes that in a shorter time you would notice an extreme decrease in speed and performance, along with possibly losing your data. Go with a high rpm hdd, youll deff see an increse i. Speed
instead of doing that crap I could just buy 2 terabyte or 4 terabyte external hard drive 4 100 to 150
much better too since the internal storage is only sata2 speeds while the usb3s are faster
yes but your speed sucks. your less then 5400rpm. you can get a 4 t 6gs. hdd. for 150. where your 6gs external is 300
Sean McClelland lmao exactly
Hi all, it have to be a 5400rpm or 7200rpm hdd? could be a specific brand of hdd? thanks a lot for your time to answer
I think I'm more afraid of the Front Connector board wire disconnection.
After getting the HDD replaced, how does the OS get reinstalled? I know for the PS4 and PS3, Sony gave you an Update site.
+Joseph Oliveira you get black screen unless you create an image of the first drive and put it on the new one.
Do I have to do any pre-work before replacing the Hard drive, like formatting the disc or installing anything in it?
PB TeknoTV yes
czcams.com/video/bD78ytZRASo/video.html
Had a Xbox one catch fire lol can I take the hard drive out and put in in a new Xbox without losing all of my data was thinking the processor is still good to maybe I need that to so the OS is the same any info would be great
Can you use any 2.5" hdd for the swap, or can it be only a certain size and rpm?
+mike104740 used to be able to, new update won't allow you to swap the drive as easily. You'll get stuck on the black screen if you do it. Then you'll have to pay microsoft to fix your console.
so i kmow this is late but if you take out an xbox 360 hardrive could you take the one out of your xbox one and put the 360 one in it?
I can't seem to find this anywhere and it may sound dumb... But if I put a hard drive with Windows 10 pre installed into a xbox would I be able to use my xbox as a basicly 'gaming pc'
