Amongst all the off-road cycling events within the Dolomites' terrain, the Veneto Trail definitly stands out. An absolute breathtaking route, which was very obviously setup by a very passionate cyclist for like-minded passionate cyclists. While doing another company outing and physically riding the Trail for the second time in 2022, with every pedal stroke we could actually feel the dedication again and again that went into this project. Getting such an event and such a spectacular route in return for a very modest starting fee has become a pretty seldom occuring thing these days.
Not to mention that the Veneto Trail’s routes are even constantly changing with every new year. If you follow trailbuilders‘ works on blogs like bikepacking.com/ and others, you have definitly stumbled over the name Andrea Securo. In cooperation with his girlfriend Beatrixe, Andrea is not only creator of every year’s Veneto Trail route, but also the founder of the known bikepacking.com/routes/asiago... and the famous bikepacking.com/routes/veneto.... With this in mind you can be sure Andrea knows the area as no other, and every year’s Veneto Trail version excursions have been combining the best bits and pieces of all those three routes!

i'm amazed by everyone on gravel bikes. Did it on a hard tail mtb with front suspension and all the descending was pretty comfortable. Looks sketchy on the curly bars.
The bikes mostly used here are a step up from the mid sized tyre gravel bikes. These are drop bar mtb's better known as adventure bikes. Mtb parts with a drop bar. Models used here are Bombtrack Beyond adventure bikes. Nice bikepacking videos for drop bat mtb's, Tour Divide spec bikes!

we took 4,5 days, and think it has been perfect to still experience enough aside the actual track.
and did you guys here about the guy who lost his brakes on that super steep road descent from the refugio into cortina? so scary.
Yes, we rode with Boris the first 2 days.. it was a horrible moment, but he had loads of luck that he deserved, Boris is well again today and already on his bike preparing his revenge ride one day.
