They brought Alex and Samantha to spice up a lil the "law-ing" part of this series, since Harvey went all sentimental and Jessica left, but tbh, stuff like this would never happen to Harvey cause people won't ever have the guts to do him like this

I dunno. This time it feels like a non-threat. Alex was threatened with losing an 8 figure client but he'd have to lauder money to do it. That not only puts his license to practice law in jeopardy but also makes him accessory to a crime. What's to stop Alex with going public about said request and opening up his former client to litigation from the feds AND the IRS?
Alex Williams was a great Attorney in SUITS.

Not one single attorney in this firm has even a modicum of self-control, people skills, or legal instincts.
