    Hi Saumya, Finally I got to see a video with a mention of Roomba iRobots on your channel. I do have an i7 robot at my place and I am using it December 2020. Based on my experience, I have a feedback which may be important to you viewers. The hair entanglement is an issue on the bottom brushes. It does entangle the hair, threads and other thread like objects which are rolled on the brush. It does not stop the operation. But the big issue is that those brushes are made of rubber and hair cuts grooves on these brushes and this happens pretty fast. iRobot accessories are pretty expensive just like their robot. A set worth 1700/- just for the brushes which they suggest changing every quarter !! And there are other parts too that need to be changed 😂
    You ask me about cleaning efficacy and I have this feedback. I stay in a flat which is about 25+ years old and has mosaic flooring. I am not saying that the robot does not clean well. It does but there are many occasions when I still notice some dirt which got left behind. Not sure if this has any correlation with the nature of surface of mosaic which has poor visibility to identify dust. But that is definitely an issue.
    And one more thing. Every time you run the robot, it needs cleaning and human intervention before starting the program. I would rather take a jhadu and sweep the floor rather than dissemble robot and clean the dirt bins, remove hair from the rubber brushes and other moving parts. That would be much easier. In a nutshell, I am sick of this ... 😭 ( this is not an emoji that I use often in my life 😉)

      Hi CK! Thanks for sharing your views! I did feel these brushes were better than the brushes in others from hair getting stuck as there is little scope for it - except in the corners. Been now using it for over a month. Yes, parts are definitely expensive like the robot itself. Have to see about that.
      About cleaning out the bin and stuff - that has been my biggest pain as I get lazy to do everyday. With this automatic disposal bin - I found it’s much much convenient. It’s not given me an alert to empty that bin just yet.
      Cleaning efficacy - i had heard about ecovacs having issue with mopping in mosaic tiles. Can try it out in my in-laws place which has mosaic tiles and let you know. The MI works quite well in their house on mosaic.

    Hi, i currently have MI Robot P which vacuums very well. Mopping i have stopped as it takes time to set, their App keep forgetting maps.
    So overall am looking for a good vaccun + mop with auto lift feature and with bin.
    I saw Roborock Q Revo and Roborock 7. Not sure if that would work here, and how would be its service.
    Any idea? Or any alternate to it?

      Hi Rashmi! Thank you. I will research that :). For the record - I have been using tupperware for a while. Slowly switching to glass. I don't use any other plastics for long term storage of food items. Also - as a personal preference - I only buy grocery on need - and not buy and store long term.

Even the borosil glass lunch boxes have a plastic lid..Also the glass containers have a metal lid , tomorrow there might be a finding that the lid is harmful💀

    Hi,
    I am seeing first time your vedios. Lot of information is available in your vedios. Thanks for sharing such a good information to us. I have 3 questions.
    1. Is sweeping only available, is it good to purchase 2in1 mops. Suggest products.
    2. How much powe and time consumes for cleaning of a 1500sft house.
    3. Which is better for cleaning long hair dust.
    Thanks in advance.

      @TheGrapevineIndia  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Kiran, glad you found it useful.
      1. yes, you do get sweeping only robot vaccums. But most do not have mapping. I would recommend this - amzn.to/3eL6QG0 or amzn.to/3BltjUq at a lower budget
      2. Power consumption is minimum - not more than 50W. They do have a 3200mah battery.
      3. Most of these will clean long hair. You may need to clean the brush occasionally if hair is wound up.

    • @TheGrapevineIndia
      @TheGrapevineIndia  Před 2 lety

      Hi! Profiling of people is not done. It's consent based. You can also choose not to send the data to iRobot.
      Here's a snippet - "Our Robots do not transmit this information unless you register your Robot online and connect to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, or connect to the internet via another method. It is possible to use our smart technology Robots without Wi-Fi or Bluetooth data transmission, simply by disconnecting your Wi-Fi or Bluetooth from the Robot or by never connecting it at all. You may also choose through your settings in the App not to have map data transmitted to us."

    • @TheGrapevineIndia
      @TheGrapevineIndia  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi! It depends on the discussion with the brand - either there will be compensation to demo or a product will be provided. I normally prefer compensation, as I have bills to pay ;) Unless it's a brand I really want to work with and they don't agree to compensation.

    Does braava leaves stain on the floor once the dust pad becomes dirty? Say for a 3bhk house do we need to change the dust pad inbetween the cleaning ?

    • @TheGrapevineIndia
      @TheGrapevineIndia  Před rokem

      Hi Pavithra, if you do sweeping before, dust pad does not need to be cleaned during the cleaning process. Otherwise, all vacuums will require the pads to be cleaned.

  • @om7654321
    @om7654321 Před 2 lety +3

    Frankly speaking none of the existing robos with dual functionality of vacuum and mopping does a good job at mopping. The same can be said for standalone mopping robos too. The best models for mopping are the ones with two rotating pads which does a very good clean cycle. I don’t understand why they have not yet launched those models in India because they certainly are available in America, Europe and Asian markets.

    • @TheGrapevineIndia
      @TheGrapevineIndia  Před 2 lety

      Hi! Exactly - the dual ones are not really great. Just OK. Standalone ones like this Braava are better than that. The rotating pads are ofcourse the best - which mimic a lot of the industrial mopping capability.

    Hi,
    I would like to thank you for your recommendation for Mi MOP P3. I have just baught it at 16500 (steal deal) from amazon and I'm quite satisfied with it. Though it's mopping needs some attention to get better results out of it and after watching your review, I was mentally prepared for it. I think it's a decent product at this price.

    • @neerendrachauhan702
      @neerendrachauhan702 Před 2 lety

      Item which you have just reviewed would be too costly for many people and I don't find it reasonable to spend that much on mopping.
      Mi Mop P3, which I have baught at just 16500 does the reasonably good job.

      Hi Neerendra! Glad you are finding the MI useful, it’s the best value for money and has been one of my top recos for a really long time 😊 I’ve been using one too for a long time.
      Yes, the braava is expensive - but there are quite some people who do prefer mopping only robots, due to inadequacy of hybrid one. But yes - the number is low.
