How do you install the tool to the spring?

I really don’t understand why there’s a need for the spring holder tool. In order to install it you need to unload the pressure of the spring and at that point you can simply slip off the belt. Then remove the bracket or at that point keep the bracket on and only remove the spring. If you doing maintenance on the pivot points, you should probably remove the whole bracket then. It would be stupid for someone to remove only 1 part and service bc they probably both need some grease or at least need to be checked over. These new bushings are a great idea though, along with the new pivot part with the sealed bearings. Also note when reinstalling the spring the 2 washers go on the top bolt. 1 on the inside and one on the outside.

Trust me, you want the spring tool or you will be fighting with the belt to get it back on. Spring tool means the difference between a 15 minute job and a 45 minute job. Also people have a tendency to over-extend the spring, damaging it.

They have spelt it Kawiperfromance which is why the link doesn't work.

I don't get Kawasaki engineers. They really concentrate on making certain aspects of their JetSki's amazing, then the simplest things they go out to lunch for. Did they not suspect that their watercraft would be used in water, especially in saltwater? Why not add more stainless hardware to things, I will even accept some grease. It's insane how the same design has been around since 2011 and the pivot point and bushings come dry..
