    Great review. Have a new one on order and looking forward to taking delivery. One question are you old enough to drive on the road??

      Thank you, I hope you enjoy your car when it arrives! Yes I’m old enough to drive, I’d only recently passed my test in this video, in more recent reviews I test drive them too :)

      Thanks for you comment David, yes the Yaris Cross can get quite pricey with the optimal extras/packs. I have more content coming soon!

    A few little errors mate and a few details missed, eg blind spot monitoring and the rear seat ‘20’ section does drop down and have cup holders. The main screen in the car you tested has the city pack which is an extra but the downside of the city pack is the screen is downgraded, it is the 8” screen not the new larger, better 9” screen. Also I do not think you have made enough of the fact that the car is a full hybrid not a mild hybrid. That is the main difference with the others you have mentioned and puts the car into another category altogether. Good try though, but are you old enough to drive? LOL

    • @Carcode
      @Carcode  Před 2 lety +2

      Thanks for watching Judith! Yes there was a lot to learn on this one! I didn’t realise about the cup holders as this model had protection on the back of the seats hiding them, I still think it’s better to have an armrest built into the seat rather than on the back of it. I found the options and packs quite confusing which I believe I mentioned, unlike other cars that have clear specs for each trim level. It is a full hybrid I was mentioning the mild hybrid which I’d previously reviewed. I think many buyers will be customers looking at other non hybrid suvs’s too, I am old enough to drive just don’t look it! :)

    important is we cant get it until 2022 March ...
    but is it the back seat design in 40 20 40 ?
    middle one can pull down as arm rest ?

    • @Carcode
      @Carcode  Před 2 lety

      The back seat design is 40, 20, 40 yes. I guess you could put the middle seat down as an armrest but the back of the seats are hard and won’t be as comfortable as a proper armrest! Enjoy your new car I’m sure your looking forwards to it. Thanks for your comment, Sam.

    I have tested this car too. The most complete version. The weakest point is the engine. Starting 60 km/h and higher it makes noise during the acceleration. It must be a stronger engine for this car weight.

    • @Carcode
      @Carcode  Před 2 lety

      Hi Leon, it won’t be the engine that would be the CVT automatic transmission. The car basically has 1 gear so it revs high when going faster! I’d agree with you that it’s the weakest point with this car, it’s not as smooth as competitors. Thanks for watching! 😄

    • @Carcode
      @Carcode  Před 2 lety

      The CVT transmission only has 2 gears so the engine revs high at faster speeds, I agree that this lets the car down compared to its competitors! Thanks for watching 😄

    Seat is annoy but we can fix it with neck-pillow

    • @Carcode
      @Carcode  Před rokem +1

      You could do but it’s best that the seat is comfortable in the first place! It’s a brand new model so I don’t think people would want to have to use a neck pillow just to get comfy, good point though if you have to borrow this car. Thanks for watching.

    I Want Toyota Yaris Cross in India ... Please

    • @Carcode
      @Carcode  Před 2 lety

      It’s a good car but there are other option in India, The Nissan Kicks is a similar sized SUV. Another option would be the new Volkswagen Taigun (called t-cross in Europe) Both of these cars aren’t hybrids but they have high levels of safety which is great to see in the Indian market, as for many years the Indian market has had “watered down” safety on similar cars like the Suzuki Swift in Europe vs Maruti swift in India which offered less airbags etc.

    Why is a little boy doing a car review?

    No offense. But this guy looks ten years old. Is he old enough to have a drivers license?

  • @k_luna.
    @k_luna. Před 2 lety

    Do you even have a full license to drive?
    Also, car reviewers need years of experience in real life driving, in-depth understanding of the mechanics of how a car works & knowledge of the strengths of car brands. It sounds like you just watched other review videos, memorised & edited them. You also have a lot of errors on this video.

      Hi Katrina thanks for your comment, I do drive and have for almost a year now. I love cars and have an extensive knowledge, as you can see from my channel it’s still early days and I know I have a long way to go! I work in a car dealership now and have experience driving a range of makes and models. Please do appreciate that I am only 18 and was 17 in the video, if I thought my videos HAD to all be perfect I would never have started I’ve accepted that my first videos won’t be the best. Practice makes perfect hence I’ve made many videos since and allowed myself to learn from my mistakes. Thanks for your comment Katrina but please be considerate with your words.

      @@Carcode I know I'm late to this comment but please, please ignore unnecessary negative comments. I found this to be a helpful and knowledgable review of a car that I was interested in. I could not care less about who the reviewer is. Comments directed at you indicate a great deal more about the commenter than they do you. Thank you for taking the time to review this vehicle.
