The Stones have always worshiped the great American blues artists. They have played with Muddy, Buddy, and the father of the rock guitar Chuck Berry. Buddy Guy has long been considered one of the greatest bluesmen to walk the earth. He obviously inspired the Stones to bring their "A" game to the stage. Great reaction man!

The Stones love American Blues. America loves them for loving American Blues. What a marriage. ❤

John, you have made a significant contribution with this outstanding performance. Muddy Waters is somewhere smiling. Fantastic! Harri, your engaging review was great. Bravo!

Thanks Dave! Knew you’d enjoy Mick’s harp work as much as Harri. Say what you will about the Stones, unlike some others -cough- Jimmy Page- cough - they always gave the blues legends they were inspired by their due credit.

Another fantastic choice John. It’s always entertaining when Mick takes the stage. And when you add the legendary blues of Buddy Guy, well it just sweetens the recipe for ear candy! Thanks Harri and John 🌺✌️

Did you notice Keif gave Buddy his guitar in the end? "It's yours!"

This is from Shine A Light dvd. Behind the scenes tells the story when Buddy was just starting out and Muddy didn’t know his name, just called him Mother F’er as he was sitting in corner of recording studio.

Excelente video !!! Los chicos se estaban divirtiendo como nunca !! Sólo basta ver las miradas y sonrisas que hacían. Al final, Keef le ragala su guitarra a Buddy. Saludos desde Buenos Aires, Argentina !

Hey Harri been following you a couple years now. Love you did this tune! 'Hey Mick - there shouldn't be no law about a man wanna smoke a little DOPE!' :)
Keith Richards might not as well even be there. I guess he was kinda rhythym guitar :) Agree, about Mick and Buddy. Whenever Buddy walks on stage, he elevates whatever is going on. And this was def a great performance by Mick too.

Lucky enough to have my arm around Buddy while he was jamming in the audience at the Ridgefield Playhouse in Ct one eve. Seen both these artists many times. Catch them while you can. True masters of performing. Rock on.
