You are an absolute HERO. I've been trying so hard to find out specific information about this watch, and you are the only person who actually had not just some of what I needed, but ALL of it. Let’s talk numbers: currently in my local stores T-Rex model costs 100 USD, and T-Rex Pro -175 USD. In my opinion it doesn’t make sense to pay almost twice the price for nearly zero significant changes.

They just had a special on the T-Rex Pro in black where the price hit $125! I was thinking about the Fitbit Charge 5 but the T-Rex is a better looking watch. I went for it. IT IS NICE!
I just thought about it but I think the reason why the volume slider has to tap and not slide is to prevent hearing damage if you Accidentally crank it up to max volume
U can control volume on T-Rex. Just push the speaker icon on music screen. I'm using it often to control my YT playlists .
I love the desing of this watch so much but unfortunately the thing stopping me from buying it is the lack of music storage. Because of this i will get the GTR 2 instead. Although I really like (love!!) the T-Rex desing

It doesn't attach to external heart rate sensor, like a Chest strap, a big mistake, so many sports modes with out accuracy heart sense, I'll keep my old Stratos and still wating for any better.... This function is supported in Pace, Stratos2, Stratos3 and Verge.

Just bought the T-Rex (non Pro) 18 days ago for $109 on Amazon. In my opinion, the differences aren't worth the cost to the average user. If you are very active in outdoor activities, sports, skiing, swimming, etc., then it seems like it might be well worth it. I was really hoping Amazfit would start putting in a speaker so we can get more than a vibration alert for notifications, and most importantly a microphone so we can respond to text messages or make calls through the watch. Til then, I won't be buying another watch.. soon as they add speaker/microphone, I will be one of the first buyers. Mostly because the watch face is crisp clean and bright, and the battery life is out of this world.
I agree, I love my Trex gen 1 . Until it dies I dont see a reason to upgrade to the Pro. By the time it does die there will be a Pro 2.0 :)

Was thinking about getting a gbd h1000 by Casio G-SHOCK but when it came to compare both of them the T. rex pro has more options for work out I’ve heard that the gps is better ect and it’s not like I am going to be tossing the thing around to see how much it could handle so that’s what I’ve went for and it’s half the price

I've had the T-rex gracing my wrists since it came out and like him, I have to say it is an epic watch on all fronts. I've loved every minute and wouldn't have traded it for any other.
Apart from the extra 50 feet of water, barometer and spo2 reader they're identical in functionality. Esthetically the wristband really Pops Out on the Pro, but one has to question if the price tag merits such an immediate upgrade, especially if you enjoy having many colours of the same watch, maybe purchase the T-rex Pro in a different colour with having the option of also using the older T-rex on an ongoing basis as it has almost the same to offer.

Great review. I love my T-Rex and you're right on the battery life. This thing lasts forever. My only wish is that it looked a little less (rugged) like a G-shock and was a bit thinner. Outside of that, for the money you can't get a better smart/workout watch. ✌️

@@mouprangayan4522 Holding up great. Battery life still impressive. I've had no problem with the strap. Not sure if it can be changed for an aftermarket. The accuracy of the GPS isn't horrible. It isn't great but for me, it's fine. The GPS accuracy is more on the better side of accuracy than it is on the bad side. It's $100 smart watch accuracy. Definitely could be worse.
Does the watch capture information about flight of stairs? Does the zepp app capture it?
Is the tracking more accurate than amazfit GTR/GTS 2?
On the running activity function, can it do interval splits like the Stratos 3? Thanks!

I have t rex black edition and huawei ght2 same black edition, gt2 i use when i wanna a businees or office work,and day by day ,sport and driving i just use t rex,its awesome, and i have like 5 gshock diferent watches,some of them more than 200 euros, so im telling u t rex its best buy for daily use and gt2 for office using.

So i mean do I really need all those extra modes I mean Id barely go for a walk or a workout..let alone go into the water.. So will the T-Rex 🦖 be Good enough? Iean will I be missing something big? Got my OG T Rex last week and it's awesome! Last charge was 8 days ago and I've got 64% left! Upgraded from a Samsung gear 2 neo and it's like night and day, the only thing I miss is the IR blaster
This watch has a ton of other manufacturers beat in almost every department. I haven't worn my Galaxy Watch 3 since the original T-Rex showed up.
I'll take the ticwatch pro 3 over these...a bit more pricey if your not a savvy shopper but a far better watch...especially if you get the LTE version. I picked up the ticwatch pro 3 lte on Ebay for 188.00 won it on bidding. LTE typically only works on Vodafone network...but you just have to trick it into working on Verizon which is what did. I get 45+ days in essential mode and then almost a week in non essential mode. But these T-Rex watches are nice though...
Ticwatch pro 3 is garbage it’s only rated at IP68 so have fun ruining the watch just by washing your hands lol
