Their performance of The Ghost Of Tom Joad mentioned in the video made a huge impact on my life as a guitar player! I really wanna see Tom And Bruce tour together again
Agreed 100%! I was fortunate enough to be in the pit when Bruce played Albany in 2014 (one of Bruce's best shows over the past 20 years - check out the setlist - www.setlist.fm/setlist/bruce-springsteen/2014/times-union-center-albany-ny-23c35c2b.html) and on a night of MANY highlights, such as a girl jumping onstage unexpectedly to shimmy along to Treat Her Right to Bruce jumping along with a trio of pre-teen girls to Seaside Bar Song to the emotional moment Bruce danced with a fan's mom to Save The Last Dance For Me (and I haven't yet mentioned the excellent covers of INXS's Don't Change and the Bee Gee's Stayin' Alive), THE highlight of the night was the spellbinding, blistering performance of Tom Joad. Tom Morello's guitar solo brought the house down and was quite possibly the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed during a live performance.
I didn't know he got to fill in and play with Springsteen not only for a tour but also on one of his albums. Couldn't imagine being able to do that with one of my music heroes.
Tom is actually the one who inspired Bruce to make the record
Even with all his fame, so many people under rate The Boss. It's just good music. Maybe it doesn't have face melting solos every song, but he can flat play that Telecaster.
Love “The River”. My favourite Springsteen song. Speaking of Dylan, Hurricane would be my fave.

I've only met one guitar legend in my life; Bruce Springsteen's guitarist, Steven Van Zandt. Heck, my dad had to point that out afterwards. It was at a Top Round Roast Beef restaurant.

Nebaska was just a home demo, the record company decided to release it. You need to get the first issue on cd, and you can tell, it is better then the cleaned up remasters.

The place I'm looking to see them at has lower level seats in the mid-$100s, which given the current state of the music business is quite cheap. Is it just more expensive in other places?

Hound19745 How can we really blame them? Streaming, CZcams, and illegal downloading have ruined the whole income of artists who currently aren't in the Top 20 of the mainstream charts. There's a reason why tickets were cheaper back then. It wasn't the only way to guarantee an artist can get the money they deserve.
We have their music for free on the internet, so the least we can do is focus what money we would have spent on their CDs or LPs if it was our only option on one concert equipped with a great show.

@@jobrakai9395 Morello's not classifying him as metal. But a lot of metal fans branch out into other genres. Johnny Cash was country but his attitude and his songs had an appeal to many metal fans. Morello is recommending the same thing with Springsteen. If you don't think he's rock and roll,do as he said and listen to Darkness On The Edge Of Town. Nothing like the pop gloss of Born in the USA. Its a gritty, raw rock album. As a Springsteen fan, its been my very favourite since I became a fan 13 years ago.
