Fine car! But I noticed the colour of the doors is slightly different from the rest, maybe due to a fixing intervention or a restoration. About the Dauphine: it was very popular in the '60, but it was also well known for being a bit difficult to drive and to keep straight on the roads...but probably the Gordini version was better.
Yes it was repaired after a crash in 1964. But from that moment on it was standing still in a garage and was not used any more. So the car was hand painted from grandpa. The driving experience is more or less the same with the regular Dauphine. The Gordini version just added some additional power (+10 horsepower to 36hp. Later version R1093 came even with 49hp). In this very case it has even Ondine spec…sadly the radio was removed and sold some time ago. If you want to see more car related content check out my channel. More comfortable than the VW Beetle, the Renault Dauphine was exactly what continental Europe needed at the time.

Yes it is german original registrated in 1962. Renault 5 is a nice one, too!! Would like to have one some day 😊
