No it wasn't inspired by Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody because That song wasn't released until 1975. It was inspired by Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata. John heard Yoko playing Moonlight Sonata and asked her to play the chords Backwards.😀

The lyrics are brilliant. “the world is round “ is linked to “turns me on”. “the wind is high “ to “it blows my mind” and “the sky is blue” to “it makes me cry”. The round world turns. The wind blows. Blue as in cry. It’s absolutely beautiful and very poetic. As someone already pointed out, they recorded the tune three times so what you hear is nine voices. On The Anthology you can hear it without the music. In a’ cappella. It’s absolutely stunning.

George Martin played Clavinet joined by John on guitar. Paul played bass. They spent an intense five hours triple-tracking their harmonies. George played Moog synth at 2:39. Both Paul and George said it was their favorite!

Backwards Beethoven! This song always kicked off the medley for me because if flows so nicely into "You Never Give Me Your Money" it seemed like a part of that whole. I have no idea whether this song influenced "Bohemian Rhapsody" but it would not surprise me given how influential The Beatles were back then.

Oh and another thing I forgot you can hear synthesizers in this song and other ones on Abbey Road you have to realize that even though let it be was the last album released They delayed the release of let it be but Abbey Road was recorded after Let It Be so it was actually the last album so they had just got a hold of some new musical equipment some of the items that they acquired Worthy's synthesizers which were never on any Beatles albums before so I think it's really great that just before they broke up they got some Moog synthesizers and we're able to use them on their last album I mean it's so perfect because the Beatles were always innovating and so when they found out about this new thing they just jumped at the chance of course because that's what the Beatles do they always try new things okay my Nigerian princess

I always include "Because" when I play the Abbey Road medley ---- which is about once a week for the last 50+ years. I learned long after that it's not officially a part of the medley, but then why does it flow so seamlessly into "You Never Give Me Your Money"?
You know this song has such beautiful song structure the chord progressions intervals all those are so well thought out it is one of the most beautiful songs by The Beatles I rate it up there with strawberry fields and you know it sounds like it ends rather abruptly you know it's over kind of soon before I understand what you're feeling but the point of it is it goes right into You Never Give Me Your Money and it has that something that you go from one song to another and that is what segues to the big medley so it's like all these songs together tell the story they had made that such an art form of course Alan Parsons was there and he was the producer that produced Dark Side of the Moon and if you ever react cuz that album parts of Dark Side of the Moon you want to just play the whole section you might just want to play side one and react to the whole side and then do side to and react to that whole side I know I'm thinking in the mindset of a different era when everything was on vinyl records and now that isn't the case obviously but there you go I'm from the old school all right I my Gangkin Girl

You know it's so amazing hun if you do a study on the the Siri the chord progressions and the different chords you go from one thing and then you resolve to another this song is like music theory 101 okay if you were studying music theory this would be something to take a good look at because of how the different harmonies the different structure of the the chords and the way the phrases and everything resolved and go into the next and it's just it's beyond and another thing oh my gosh so you got to realize even though let it be was the last album released it was delayed They delayed the release of Let It Be so they released Abbey Road before let it be came out but actually Abbey Road was the very last album that they recorded together that's a whole nother story and itself I'll tell you later but the thing is they had just discovered synthesizers George Harrison just went head over heels for these awesome new keyboards and all this technology I think it's so great that the Beatles last album actually had synthesizers because you know they were kind of before that era and they just got a hold of it just before they broke up so that's great you can hear it all through the album Maxwell's Silver Hammer at the end of I Want You She's So Heavy that static at the end that was actually a synthesizer and then of course they cut the tape which gave it that abrupt ending which was so awesome but the thing is you know you notice how the song in because we're talking about it goes into kind of goes into You Never Give Me Your Money it's kind of I don't know it's so perfect the way they made it do that and of course I don't know if you've already done the whole medley of Abbey Road if I remember correctly but yeah this was right before you never give me your money all right getting couldn't girl and I will check you on the next epic drop the next legendary reaction
