Ion mean no harm but LMAO 😅😅😅I don't know when u left Richmond but I'm not familiar with the Richmond your speaking about and I was born here and raised the one thing I do kno the wierd thing about Richmond is that one side is totally different than the other side South side is totally different than North side the Westend is totally opposite of the east end I mean people are so opposite from one side to the other it's like having a bunch of different cities in one place another thing a real Richmonder is not gonna say that they are southern or country I don't know one, they take offense to that real Richmonders don't say they're from the the south they'll say Mid-Atlantic or in the middle but never south inspite of it being the capital of the old confederacy that junk is smashed to the ground my family went from DC to Richmond quite often but all of my siblings were born and raised in Richmond DC was like a second home we traveled to Raleigh, Winston Salem and Charlotte Atlanta and Richmond is nothing at all like those southern cities Richmond is very similar to DC and b more even has similarities to Newark and New york not exactly alike but similar I said all that to say the slang in Richmond varies from one side to the other we don't all speak the same slang here as crazy as that sounds.

That’s interesting. I would’ve thought Richmond claimed to be southern all though I will say this. I’m in agreement with you about NC cities and Richmond. Ive lived in GA and NC cities feel pretty similar. Slight differences especially in Raleigh but Richmond felt like another region. I was like it feels different and it looks different too
