I've listened to this song before, including the duet with Pavarotti, and always thought it was beautiful. It wasn't until I reconnected with a childhood love that I truly heard the lyrics. It hit me like a tidal wave as it played on my radio on the way to work one night......this is how this man makes me feel, in all my self seen imperfections, he makes me feel "Perfect". Thankfully, i had 20mins left of my commute so I could contain myself for my shift. I envy and am truly in awe of songwriters who can put into words and music these emotions.

Definitely works because he's famous. Its really nice song! The same lyrics by the average guy would definitely creep out a woman. A friend of mine thought he was being cute by singing this to his crush in college, and he got meetoed and sent to HR. So sad.
