You have to have both headphones on when listening to Pink Floyd because they play with both sides. You’re missing out.
DSOTM was recorded use of advanced studio techniques in its own time, such as 16-track mixing. And you heard almost the whole song with only one ear..

The very best album of all time. Hearing this took me to back when I got this record in 1973. I took it home, put the headphones on and listened to it clear through. I did that with most records but this was so good. Hearing this today still brings that memory big time. Gives me the chills. I think it was on the charts for 7-years. Great watching with you.

This entire album is about light & dark and how either death or insanity can take the light away.
We even get the word Lunatic from Lunar meaning "of the Moon".
"Eclipse" encapsulates an entire life into seconds of music. It's something that is not in reach of many musicians throughout History.
