In this episode we combine two kits from Fosscalemodels.com for our model railroad layout. Another episode full of tips and techniques. Hope you enjoy the video and happy modeling everyone!!!
Very exciting to see this come together and yes! that is a lot of kits but so good looking...amazing!! And I won't tell you wife :) Really enjoyed watching this come together looking foward to the completion!!
Hi ya Jason. Just like many artists throughout time, you seem to be going though a color phase. Your current is yellow. That 60 building kit builds, all on You Tube, is quite impressive. I very much look forward to the scenery going in. Thanks. See ya next time.
Thank you so much Norman!!! I always appreciate it! Being a freelance I use color and color theory every day. The colors on my layout are not random. It’s all carefully planned. Thanks for watching buddy!!!
I've said it before and I'll say it again Jason, WOW! this is an epic layout and the diorama work is outstanding. Can't wait to see the landscaping going in. Cheer's John
I got a kick out of the "5 or 6 trees" comment. Most guys mass produce trees for their layout.... Jason mass produces structures!! Love the color selection of the pizza/photo structure! Love your channel Jason.
Great use of colour. I never would of thought of baby blue as a accent coulour it must be your artists eye. Great work as usual please keep them coming!
I have loved every moment of it all Jason, and as always, I look forward to each new video! I particularly loved this build. I just love the little old fashioned restaurants. I have a passion for the retro and Googie architecture of the past. Loved that you showed more details for this build! Lisa
Nice one Jason. An interesting build and milestone achieved. Good luck hitting your deadline without too much slippage. I'm not far from starting a few laser cut kits provided by a manufacturer here in Australia. I've been revisiting your early how to tutorials. Very helpful, thanks.
Fantastic kits and the town looks incredible! I really can't wait to see the trains running threw the whole town! The detail you bring to each building makes you want to live in that town.
Jason, great work, it looks soooo good. Thank you for sharing, and I am sure I can speak for all your followers when I say, I can't wait for more videos, and the landscaping, and then some trains running. Cheers, and stay safe, Michael
I've enjoyed every one of them. A lot of them wouldn't fit in on a UK layout, but the building process and the ideas certainly will. You're an inspiration. Cheers
Looking forward to seeing your vision for the scenic portion of the layout. Buildings are great and I'm sure your landscaping work will be just as spectacular.
It seems like you are missing support beams for the store front overhang, other than that great model!!! I have enjoyed all your shows , keep up the great work.
Awesome Jason, nice tip on finger placement got drawing straight lines on roof.. unreal on amount of kits total, yep saw you build, placement along with details of all those kits. Further development on scenery now. Close to two years almost ??
Your buildings always seem to lead your through the scene. Leaving a very cool depth of field to your layout. As far as your scenery you have shown with the bridge build what to expect as you continue. You were talking about adding some trees, are you going to make them or just buy some? I am a big fan of super trees and even though they are time consuming the results are great. I have a question, have you ever used alcohol inks on your wood structures, seems to me if you can use alcohol stains as a detent to wood warping, inks would do the same. great build...by the way.
Thank you so much Will!!! I plan on making my trees. I’m sure I’ll have a video on it. I use inks from Ammo by Mig called Shaders. They are very impressive and come in many different colors!
Awesome video my friend I love watching your videos they're very informative. you take your time to explain what you're doing! Have one question for you or more of a request if possible I was wondering if you have any Hot Wheels or Matchbox laying around...... I would really like to see a 164th scale next to one of your buildings on the layout just to see if I could get away with using a HO scale buildings for a diorama that I've been planning in my head Thanks in advance!
Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate it! I personally think Hotwheels and Matchbox are to big, but I have seen people use them. My opinion is that they don’t look right . Thanks for watching! 👍
@@JasonJensenTrains okay thanks if you say you think they're too big I'll take your word for it I appreciate you taking the time to reply can't wait for the next video and see you get started on the terrain and details of the layout hope you have a good day my friend!
Looks nice. How wide and long are the windows on the Kodak building? I am making some HO scale buildings from scratch. Trying to get the right measurements for windows and doors.
Thanks man for another awesome video. I have a question. In another video you talked about chipboard. You said you get 1/16 inch chipboard from Amazon. I cant find any thing that size. Thanks Dick

@@JasonJensenTrains Haha, space pizza. Would be neat to see the futuristic version of these old businesses.
@@JasonJensenTrains Awsome
Watching you do the roof, I'm thinking "I can't even draw a Straight Line with a ruler".

Will you really starting Landscaping before 2030?😂
Why oes every structure have to be funky and rusty? Aren't there any owner with a modicum of pride in their buildings?
It’s set during the depression and everything is next to the ocean and the salt water just destroys everything! Thanks for watching!!!
What is the name of the product glue for the windows again ?
Aleene’s tacky glue.
How much are you charging for a pizza slice? I just paid $3 a slice
When does Godzilla appear?
