After watching a couple of your videos, I'm impressed by the passion you tackle your essays with while keeping a soft welcoming tone. Keep up the good work Moony!
I’m so happy to have watched almost all of your videos I love your content while sometimes dense with information it is all accurate info. The way you dissect things and explain things makes it easy for everyone to understand. I’m actually interested in working in law and the interests of your align well with mine. The passion and time to make videos must be a while idk how you have been bringing out such high quality stuff other than a catalog of videos lined up. I’m honestly surprised your channel isn’t bigger the quality and depth of your videos are immense. I’m very thankful for all the great content you’ve released especially about different history and law.
This is the second video of yours that I have watched and the first time I've come across your channel, and, for what it's worth, that's all I needed to see to subscribe. Your Nintendo IP video is spectacularly done, but it's the way you presented this, this intro video specifically, that sold me. I've never seen such an earnestly relatable reason for a channel's conception--that you use it to escape the stresses of the work you do, and yet still your work is heavily featured in your content. You incorporate your knowledge of legal and business social structure unironically because you've done an understatedly fantastic job of transcending the fatalism associated with it--and all things we do in the name of survival. There is a thriving world in the escapism, and I rarely see people who understand that as well as you put it here. This is a somewhat cliched illustration, but your channel really feels like stumbling upon a hidden gem of a sanctuary. Your production quality is inspiring and you are underrated, and I am glad to share with you the kind of wealth that means more to you than what's material. I'm really looking forward to getting notified with more and going through the rest of your library here.
Thank you for this deeply meaningful and thoughtful comment, Nessa. Though I am a lawyer by trade, I remain a dreamer at heart. I hope these videos may continue to bring you inspiration and joy, just as your comment did for me.
@@moon-channel I am honored that I could convey it to you on the exact wavelength I felt it! To explain a kind of emotion as if logical almost always get labeled as pretentious, especially on CZcams. There's also no way I could avoid making it sound too forward (though I admit there are few who wouldn't hope to receive the kind of awesome reply you gave me!) Congratulations on your surge of views and viewers, Moony. I'm a fellow dreamer and pleased to be here!
This is also the second video of Moons I’ve watched and I think your comment sums up a lot of my feelings as well! If anyone sees this comment I hope you have a wonderful day🩵
Like the original game designers in the companies you've described in your video, I feel that your channel is suddenly growing, much due to the sense of sincerity, love, and a desire to share wonderful experiences and share a helpful understanding of the world around us. You have the heart of a devoted educator and it is robustly expressed in the video essays I have enjoyed here. I know that if you continue this, your channel will benefit from it and find exponential growth. However, do beware: many channels I have loved, upon reaching a certain size, begin to lose their way. Addiction to that growth causes many creators to begin chasing viewers with clickbait titles and to sacrifice quality in the pursuit of more and more watch time, sacrificing both their educational quality and their sincerity of good will. Please, for us as much as for yourself, remember the stories of the companies you speak about in your videos, how they began and what they became, and invest time in learning what pitfalls to avoid to preserve your original intent. A year, two years, from now or perhaps more, when you have hundreds of thousands of subscribers, I want to see you there with your noble pursuits and integrity intact. Thank you for the hard work you put into your creations, and may their strengths, and yours, persevere in the face of great success.
Thank you for this wonderful, insightful comment. In a way, I've already walked this road once before, having chosen to step away from a very lucrative career in law to open a law office that focuses on doing good over making profit. There will always be temptations, but at the end of the day, Moon Channel is a project born of love, and not out of profit motive. If this humble Channel does end up with hundreds of thousands of subscribers one day, it will be a result of us having walked a road less traveled together, and not a result of chasing clicks.
What attracted me to your channel is that one about killing God. Although I don't have a background in religion and spirituality, I have a great deal of interest on comparing and contrasting religious ideas. I also used to play a great deal of JRPGs back in the 1990s / early 2000s, particularly Final Fantasy. Watching how you present it that way, along with outlining the socio-historical and economic context that made the society where those games are produced, you can't help but understand why they have the plot / storyline that they have. It was quite enlightening, like the lighting of a lightbulb 💡 , an "Aha!" moment, so to speak. Thanks a lot for all these works. I will be back here often. Keep up the good work! 💪
I've already fallen in love with the content you make, I hope you continue to make more... I haven't seen anything really done like your videos before... Regardless of what happens, I hope you continue doing what you love, you're amazing
Before I sub to a channel I take a look at their channel trailer This is the best channel trailer I've ever seen, and is something I've honestly been looking for. I look forward to binging your content after a long day at work
I found at about you, a few days ago and my ears were glued to the tone of your voice and the content of the videos! All the history research! love your style Moony, thanks for the videos and keep up the good work!
The algorithm plopped your more recent "Why Do JPN Games Love Brazil" video in front of me, and as is typical for the current attention-economy I clicked away a few minutes in to peruse your channel. Then this played. Easily the best, and perhaps only effective youtube channel trailer I've ever seen since this feature was implemented. Strangely enough, I got teary eyed. You have another subscriber. I'll go watch the rest of the other one now.
I just watched your most recent video about Nintendo and it's IPs. It was so great I went to your channel really shows how I felt when I watched that video. A more serious tone but positive and informative. I like the style of this and look forward to watching your old videos and new ones to come. You have my subscription.
i am grateful i have found your channel, have hit the beloved bell icon set to all, i want to make sure that in my sea of subscribed channels i will not forget this one, and i look forward to each essay regardless of the time between.
I came here after the gender war video, but what made me subscribe was Tifa's theme playing in the background of this trailer. Looking forward to watching your video essays, fellow lawyer!
also im excited for what you make next my friend, i love your content, your voice, your take/opinion, etc. i hope you're doing well and taking care of yourself
Found a couple of your recent videos and enjoyed them, now I'm staying for the calm voice and more serious tone. I love the way you do your work here, and I hope to see more!
Hi Moony! I’ve been enjoying your videos and perspective and research on various topics, which has led me to be more thorough when reading legal documents on the internet. I’m sorry for leaving an unrelated comment, but I couldn’t find a better way to contact you. Have you seen Nintendo’s new guidelines for hosting tournaments? To me, it’s both reassuring and worrying. Reassuring since the situation is better defined rather than being in a legal gray area. The worrying part is twofold. The strict rules requiring most tournaments to obtain a license still doesn’t clarify much besides the fact that they need one, since that process isn’t well documented, and currently doesn’t allow for applications for Melee tournament licenses at all. The other issue is that a lot of the wording seems incredibly ambiguous, and includes multiple typos (my favourite being “N intendo”). I’m curious to see your thoughts on this topic. Sorry again for leaving an unrelated comment, is there a better way to ask about topics, like a contact form?
Hey moony, love your videos. I get excited every time a new one is out. I was wondering if you had a business email for your channel P.s. I am not a sponsor, just was wondering if there was a place to ask you questions about your content
Hi Joe! I do have a business inquiry email in my Channel's about page. I might be a bit slow to respond but I always love receiving email from viewers!
Def watching this after already being invested in the channel but I want you to know you’ve succeeded in your mission thus far-I find your videos a great source of information and comfort and look forward to each one. Thanks for your hard work, Moony.
Hey if i hypothetically start a charity and get donations for ten years and then steal all that money and spend it on myself can you hypothetically be my lawyer? since you have done it before
Hi Rory! I am just a plain old he/him, I'm afraid. I use Maya as a stand-in for my younger sisters, both of whom inspire the videos. They, each in their own ways, remind me of Maya very much. And, as Maya is something of a legal assistant to Phoenix Wright, I thought she would be a fun legal assistant for the videos too!
i cam from Karl Jobst his channel, and i gotta say i think you handled yourself very well, by deleting the video and apologising to jobst, i understand that most of the most youtubers wouldn't go this far in depth as he did. Ignore all the hate and keep on going. ps you got yourself a new subcriber.
Thank you moon channel. In a world of heavy increasing misinformation and opinions/over exaggerations, disguised as facts, your videos feel refreshing. So much of what I hear on the internet is so opinion inducing and worse, deeply polarizing. I am currently working on making my own video essays and although they are more about me taking about what I like and are still opinions as I am only 17 and not a lawyer nor any expert on any subject to the point where I would be confident talking about it in a more serious manner, I will remember to always dig deeper then the surface when talking about something thanks to your videos. Thank you for the inspiration and happy new year.

In all seriousness. Great channel trailer. You have earned a sub kind sir.

I apologize: I am unfamiliar with Moon-Real.
So your reasoning is that, if you cannot cite the law word by word, you cannot tell right from wrong?
