What cable do I need for iPhone?
I also can’t get mine to work. I’m pretty sure the cable is a data transfer cable..which is strange

Turns out, for iPhone, you need the USB camera adapter. I have the one with USB port and lightning port. USB to USB C into the Gigcaster from the adapter. And other port is for charging my phone while I stream. Works great.
How do I do a live on social networks via my smartphone?
I’m doing exactly what you say but it doesn’t connect to my phone🤷♂️
It works for me on the iPhone 15 pro.
You need to turn on the Audio mode “2 mix”. To find this setting, press the “home button” (top right corner), then press “setup” and finally press “usb”. Choose “2 mix”.
It may be that you need to install a new driver from Boss’ web page first. I did this for different reasons. Maybe you need to as well.

I was just told by customer support that this item is not compatible with iOS devices

Can't seem to get it to work on Android. Doesn't recognise any audio coming in from USB.
Set to 2-mix as described plugged in with a USB-C to USB-C cable but phone doesn't see it.
Any ideas?

Thanks so much! I finally worked this out a few weeks ago and all the suggestions you make work going live with the Gigcaster using my iPhone 13 max Pro 🎉🎉
