Hey that's me! but the idea that the food they consume has sort of turned them into komodo dragons where they have toxic spit is wild. I also just thought that an explosive based faction in the realms of shaow was kinda funny, but you made it sound way cooler.
I lost it the the chomping like Theodore from Alvin and the chipmunks bit. 😂 Great video as usual!
Sigh I miss the Great Maw. It was such a unique being and the ultimate source behind the ogres hunger in warhammer fantasy. Too bad AoS doesn't include it
My pet headcsnon is that it's a parasite on gorkamorka that eats through him leaving cool tattoos in tribal patters as girkamorka heals
Wait, soif the great maw is gone do they not feel the hunger anymore?
@@christofferthorsson7657 no the hunger is still there if I recall correctly. It just has no reason to exist in the first place, if we go by WFB lore. Same for all the maw symbolism the mawtribes still use.
Also IIRC during the (horrible) End Times the maw was retconned into being an aspect of Gork and Mork. Despite this massive thing being right there as s unique creature, and it and ogres never having any connection to greenskins proper. But that is the End Times, in which nothing really made sense.
@@christofferthorsson7657 they still do. The maw is not a normal beast.
@@hangebza6625 ah. yeah I kind of tried to forget the end times ever happened. But if they changed it there fair enough
This was great, I had no idea about the gnoblars making bootleg gunpowder 😂
Love the videos.
have you made any videos on KO subfactions? Been thinking about picking up their book.
Awesome video! Would love a follow on looking at the Beastclaws and the Everwinter - that's got some cool lore around it too!
I would love to hear some more lore on any Beastclaw Raiders. Especially the Thunderbellies!
I think the coolest Stormcast are Tempest Lords unlike most nobles they picked up arms to help and save common folk and still uphold these values as stormcasts. Wish GW made a book, novella, audiodrama or a short story about them.
well if gunpwder is actualy lke our black powder, it makes sence becase all three main original ingrdents have their place in kitchen. one as fuel, other as ignition help and last as food preservant. so i some ogre would ry to eat keg of poweder, he might know the tastes and if he tries to disgustingly spit it into the fire he would know what it does. tadaaa now you aquired ogre powder cook.I j ust see ogre mixing and tasting if thats the right batch :D
Amazing
gona make an ogre army naming it the muck bang tribe
I know who the name of the overtyrant is
They look like X because they eat so much of Y... my god... they're flamingos!
very cool
While it isn't a subfaction really, could you talk about The Seraphon and focus on their ability to be made of starlight? Despite loving Seraphon i missed out on that lore bit for quite a while until i read a story in their Battletome in which a vampire was hurt when biting a Saurus. I feel like it's very overlooked.
Is there any lore on Ogor Mawtribes named characters? As I'm new to the game and faction and love them so much and want to find out more about their named characters ☺️
Idea for a new tribe: The Crystalvein tribe.
Originating from the realm of metal, their diet consisted mostly of metals and minerals, until at some point they wandered witlessly into the edge of the realm.
The contents in their bellies reacted to the unstable winds on the edges, transorming their bodies to a crystaline form.
These ogors, their bodies now made entirely from living crystal, can live entirely on magic, and can walk between the realms through the edges.
Their favourite meal?
Wizards.
Maybe not have their whole bodies turn to crystal, because that sounds like a chore to paint/kit bash. Maybe have just their stomachs and guts turned to crystal.
@@H240909 Nah, their entire body, minus their clothes and whatever else they’re wearing. The point is to make them entirely unique, not slightly unique.
@@ArkBlanc Fine, I pity your hands though.
@@H240909 🤣
Damn, the LRL tome came and you gave it as much attention as GW did
Any notable Cities of sigmar/ Dawnbringer crusades subfactions
The Cities of Sigmar subsections are the big Metropolises which then create states within Sigmar's empire. The Dawnbringer Crusades are just these cities expanding. But the Metropolises are Hallowheart, Brightspear, Anvilgard, Hammerhal Aqsha, Hammerhal Ghyra, Tempest's Eye, The Living City, The Phoenicium, Greywater Fastness, Excelsis, Settler's Gain, Misthavn, Lethis, Gravewild, and Glymmsforge (not all of these cities are playable in TT).
Who’s singing the Ogre Kingdoms song?
what is your least favourite faction and why?
I have questions 🙋♂️ what’s going on with the Everwinter? How has the rite of Life effected it and what happened to the Beastclaw Raiders? I would buy the codex to find out but right now I’m broke.
I believe he made video on the beast claw raiders and everwinter :)
@@skimpyderek9737 thanks but that video is old. It’s from 3 years ago and not relevant to the questions I asked.
THICC
Hey! You moved, don't be talkin' junk about muh city! 😅
My favorite Mawtribe. Also why are Ogors always depicted fighting Khorne? Its the most common matchup i see in art.
They both like fighting and eating the dead from the battles?
