Thanks for this long explanation of how to get this done. All the other Rover replacement videos make it seem soooo easy! At least I now know it wasnt me and others have had the same issues. I think I'll just get a spare one cut. Thanks again.
The unlock button on my Rover 75 key broke today and is now in two pieces. The micro switch is now exposed, but still works if i use a matchstick to press it . Thanks to this video, I now know the extreme hassle it takes to do this yourself, and paying someone else who has the right knowledge, experience and tools to do a professional job is worth the expense.
