ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I absolutely love these, just wish they had alternate heads with red bandannas and more old school mirage style belts with the knots in the front.
They'll likely do the all red bandana versions one day, maybe with longer necks, but with the extra heads, we can easily repaint four of the bandanas to match

Mezco also did that with their ghost rider, I absolutely love that Mezco does that, they really listen to fan feedback and they try to stay active in the community.

this looks so dope! tmnt is a weird line for me like i don’t collect or even have watched the various shows but i have seen the live action films and the newer one but if i had the money i’d definitely get this set!
Wow! Those are pretty awesome. Undoubtedly the best comic based TMNT set of figures out there. But they had better at that price. Unfortunately it's too rich for my blood. I like using my figures to make comics, and I'd be too scared to pose these around that much for fear of breaking something or loosening the joints too much. But definitely a must have if you're a super TMNT fan and you want to put them on a shelf.

These released in Feb and new cartoon colored version released this month.
The original price doesn't bring them to 200 a turtle. Aftermarket for sure.. they are def expensive but they come to about 112 a turtle with tax 😂

The sculpts and paint is the best yet but the height is very short for the pricing. They don’t even scale with human marvel legend…
the ninja turtles are supposed to be short though, i’d consider that a good thing.
So far the revoltech turtles are my favorites.

The turtles never had different colored headbands in the Mirage comics, at the very least they should have included all red masks for each of the 4 turtles in this set. Instead you'd end up with only 3 if you use all 3 Raph heads to make them actually look like Mirage comic turtles. I might have been tempted to buy this but they went kiddie cartoon colors and that ain't MY turtles.

The articulation on these is better than any neca release to date. That’s really the only thing neca lacks, articulation. These are the best articulated turtles since shfiguarts and Revoltech. The only place these are lacking compared to neca is in the ankle.
These look better than most of what neca has to offer. The price is what doesn't sound worth it to me
NECA makes better figures with better accessories and more accessories same with their Jason fix but they have less articulation

Neca's are better. 100% of the praise for the Mezco set is cope because they dropped $400 plus shipping for some 6inch turtle figures they coulda got at Target. That's gotta sting.

Maybe, but its always nice to get another look at figures I'll always want but can't afford, or justify affording.
All a toy reviewer has to say is, "Hot Toys," or, "Mezco," and my eyes glaze over. Bidenomics has kicked me in the nuts. I just bought a ten dollar Black Series Chewbacca and that's my toy budget for the month of June. Don't get me wrong, expensive toys are nice but I'd much rather see things reviewed in my price range.
