She gave up her professional career. Lots of Olympians go to extreme partying and such. But they have to learn again. Even if you feel you failed your life, you need to pick yourself up and try, try, again.
Unfortunately same old story, come from meager background, blast onto scene, get too much too soon and let it go to your head. She lost herself and her path. She was young, yes, but it's all a bit cliche and very disappointing. Most sad is how her relationship with Vicktor and Galina dissolved and what she's said about them. From all I've heard about Vicktor including the coach in this video who brought them to Simsbury and Galina, in Oskana's own words, they are good people and helped her get to where she is when she had no one else. No one knows the real story but sad that it appears that once she got money and opportunity, she didn't need them anymore and moved on.

SMA she’s married and has a little girl now. She’s happy and ok.
