Prag: Weg durchs Mittelalter zum Hradschin und zur Burg. Through the Middle Ages to the Castle

Der Weg zur Prager Burg führt durch die Stadtteile Kleinseite und Hradschin (Burgvorstadt), durch malerische Gassen und mittelalterlich erscheinende bewaffnete Gestalten -- teilweise inmitten von Touristenströmen -- die versiegen jedoch relativ schnell, wenn der Weg noch oben zu beschwerlich wird.
Viele kehren vor dem Gipfel um. Um auf dem Rückweg allerdings in die vielen kleinen Gaststätten einzukehren und sich ein echtes Pils und eine Pizza zu genehmigen.
Die letzte Etappe ist besonders beschwerlich -- eine endlos erscheinende Treppe markiert das Ende des Wegs.
Oben allerdings wird man durch den fantastischen Ausblick über die Stadt und die Burg sowie mehrere Palais und den Veitsdom mehr als entschädigt.
The way to Prague Castle through the districts of Mala Strana and Hradcany (Castle suburb), through the picturesque streets and medieval looking armed figures. Partly surrounded by streams of tourists. But when the road is too burdensome - many return before the summit. But on the way back they go in the many small restaurants to approve a real pils beer and a pizza. The last stage is particularly difficult - a seemingly endless staircase marks the end of the road. But above, it is compensated by the fantastic view of the city, the castle, several palaces and the St. Vitus Cathedral.
