0:16 Here is how to remedy your toenail fungus
0:41 I suggest also using a nail file to get rid of some of the dead nails
In this video, I give you a very effective and at-home toenail fungus treatment thatâs simple and effective. Let me explain.
Epsom salt is an effective ingredient. Itâs a naturally occurring mineral salt that has some pretty good antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties. Hereâs what you do:
Dissolve two tablespoons of Epsom salt into four cups of water in a bucket. You can boil the water first, although you donât have to. The main thing is to get the salt dissolved. Keep the water warm, but if youâve boiled it first be sure to let it cool down to a comfortable temperature.
Soak your feet in the mixture daily for fifteen minutes. Do this for three to four weeks. Youâll see a great improvement. I suggest you also use a nail file to get rid of some of the dead nails because the problem is that the fungus tends to get up underneath the nail and destroys it.
Depending on how infected the nail is, you may find that your nail has to come off then regrow. Or if the infection isnât too deep, your nail may just grow without the microbe thatâs been fading it.
Avoid moisture, because this microbe likes a humid environment. So go to work without your shoes on. Just donât tell them it was me who said so!
All these steps are part of an at-home toenail fungus treatment thatâs simple and effective.

Give this at-home toenail fungus treatment a try!
I have just completed the 4 week treatment a few days ago and I can guarantee this works. My toes look like they did when I was 16. I visited my Doctor a while ago and he prescribed me cream and ointment, both of which were expensive and when i asked about home remedies, he said none of them work. I tried Dr Berg's advice anyway and I'm glad I did. Btw i only used 2 tablespoons of Epsom salts per foot bath and that worked fine for me.
Can use himalayan salt?
LA. just use what works...
@trent b1
It's been a year, did the fungus come back? Do you still do the foot soak?
@@LA-el9xv Salt is a totally different chemical than epsom "salts". Magnesium sulfate vs sodium chloride.
Yup. My feet havenât looked this well since I was a kid. Pretty incredible
I followed Dr Berg's advice for toe nail fungus. I started plugging my drain in the tub when I take a shower and put Epsom salts (1/2 cup into the water) into the water. I got rid of athletes foot and toe nail fungus in a short time. I had this problem all my adult life.
is it still gone or has it come back at all? I'm currently battling my own and I keep seeing that many people get it back after getting rid of it and I really just want to permanently cure it
@Hailey Lowden funny you should ask as I have started having challenges again. I think it is that I'm not using enough Epsom salt. Also, I've not incorporated the tea tree oil and think that would help.
I'm only having issues with the tow nails as the athletes foot seems to be gone.
@@pfoxworth7 I'm taking a medicine called terbinafine (which does do some liver damage or so I've heard, but I'm taking it anyways) on top of this to kill the bacteria I soak my feet in a large bowl of epsom salt for about 30 mins and I put manuka honey on my tonails and just leave it there until I'm ready to do my epsomsalt soak which will wash it away. So far I'm waiting to see the results since I don't have any nail discoloration to gauge how well its working and I just started recently
âPut your foot in a little bucketâ for some reason that made me chuckle!
Dr. Berg, you are correct. I've been soaking my feet in Epsom salt because they were sore and I also noticed my slightly fungus toenails getting whiter.
Love the delivery - calm and smooth and easy to listen to. Not overly enthusiastic like so many CZcams presenters which can be off-putting
i swear i would not play poker with dr berg. Strong poker face with this one :D
OMG Doc, can't believe this video!
I've recently been soaking in a bath with a cup of Epsom Salts to relieve aches and a few pains after walking to keep fit.
I was wondering why my Toe Nails are starting to look so much better, it's the Epsom Salts in the bath water!! âșâș
Thank you Dr Berg for bringing this awareness of the benefits of Epsom salts, we all need to know
Sorry doc, I mention your name to everyone I know. I love your stuff and the way you present. God bless!
I love your advice, and dry sense of humor, Dr. Berg
Actually I had fungus of a finger, where it looked like my nail was coming apart from the bed. Recipes and tricks never worked. Then I noticed it was starting to reattach itself. The only thing I was doing different was taking Epsom Salt baths for my pain. This really does work!
I tried to forward your video to my mom and it was blocked for abuse. CZcams censorship is really getting out of hand if theyâre blocking content about toenail fungus!
Sorry to hear you had trouble sharing this post. Here is the original video czcams.com/video/ybWe5N4vCYg/video.html. Share away!
Hi. I do this regularly with hot water and epsom salts. I file my toenails down as well. I only use foot cream that absorbs quickly and that is thin in texture as I don't like oily cream on my skin. I use a small amount of over the counter pine dettol that you get in England sometimes in a foot soak or a OTC surgical liquid that medical ppl use on patients in diluted water on my feet. It is good for aches in feet, smelly feet or athletes feet as well to soak them regularly in a foot soak. Tree tree oil is good in warm water in small amounts. But I realised that sometimes high sugar diets can cause fungal infections in the body. And vitamin deficiencies, like iron deficiencies, can cause nail issues. LED nail lamps are great as well for disinfecting your nails. Avoid wearing the same socks everyday so wear clean clothes daily and use a clean towel everyday as well so u don't spread germs to others. Boil ur whites in the washing machine regularly to get rid of germs in the clothes, too. Wash ur feet at least twice a day to get rid of the sweat and germs on ur feet and have clean floors and bedding every week in order to avoid spreading đ fungus/germs around from your feet. Works for my feet. Xx đ
Water need to be HOT, thats why its finally working for me.
Probably because it makes your nail bed soft enough for penetration. It will depend on how infected your nail bed is.

This is glorious, I've been looking for "eliminate foot fungus" for a while now, and I think this has helped.
Have you tried - Riddleagan Grabbing Benefit Remedy (do a google search)? It is a good exclusive product for getting rid of foot fungus minus the normal expense. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my friend got great success with it.
Thanks for the video content! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you heard about - Vontaleec Groupthing Planification (should be on google have a look)? It is a great one of a kind product for understanding the simple method to get rid of toenail fungus without the headache. Ive heard some decent things about it and my work colleague at last got amazing success with it.

Love your sense of humour . Had a big laugh first thing in the morning . Thanks as always sir . You make my day.
Already referred the remedy to someone in need.
Thanks I needed this đ
Good morning Dr. Berg! Have a great day!!!đ
Before even seeing this video, I did the epsom salts on the fellow I caregive and it WORKS!! This fellow's toe was making his socks black (and you can't even wash that blackness out!!) But not only that, the fungus actually ATE THROUGH HIS SHOE...in that big toe spot....!! What we did afterwards was... dried his toe REALLY well and then applied TOENAIL polish! (Even on the underside as much as possible.) Worked like a charm! Every once in a while now, we remove the toenail polish, do the epsom salt bath and re-apply the toenail polish. Not a bad way to END toe fungus when they now even have expensive laser therapy out there for this problem!
Definitely gonna try this
From Epsom, Surrey, UK đŹđ§đ

Youd get your male colleagues excited if theyre anything like me
Thank you Doc.
Thanks Dr. Berg. This is exactly what I was looking for! ;)
Glad it was helpful!
Will try this and comment again about a month from now.
Wow gr8 information thanks
My toenail fungus was bad. the Naftin my dr prescribed and worked for fingernails was not as effective on the toenails. The doctor said it would take a long time to work because of the thickness of toenails. It eventually worked after I started occasionally roughing up the nails with an amope then applying the Naftin. I will start soaking my feet in Epsom salts. Donât want the fungus to come back. Thanks Dr for the tip.
Also try a mixture of neem and tee tree oil.
Thank u đâ€ïž doc O needed that.
Thanks doc
Thank you, Dr Berg.
What's important to know is that the knarled nail that is there is not going to become unknarled. Success is when you see the new nail coming out behind it looking healthy. The old part of the nail that was affected by the fungus has to just grow out the same way a black toenail does. I successfully got rid of my toenail fungus by using white vinegar. I wish I had known you could get big jugs of organic apple cider vinegar.
Wow thank you!
I don't miss any of your videos Dr. Berg. Thanks for your amazing dedication to health education đ. I had a fungus in my big toe nail for 15 years. I tried many remedies, including laser treatment. But I only started to see a big difference when I made liver cleanses several times. I now do one every six months and the nail is almost normal. Love & Light to you đđ
Maria B how do you make a liver cleanse?
@@MissCandy350 I work for a chiro that uses very similar healing methods as Dr. Berg. He explained that fungus was a result of a toxic liver, so I took the supplements from Nutri West, TOTAL SYSTEMIC DETOX and TOTAL LIVER DETOX simultaneously for about 21 days each treatment. I did this several times because my liver was very toxic. The doctor would check how my liver was doing by using kinesiology (muscle testing) until I became well.
I suggest that you see Dr. Berg's past videos on liver detox and fungus for other remedies as well. Love & Light to you đđ
Great vid's Dr. Berg
I AM CRACKING UP LAUGHING!!!
Dr. Berg is hilarious!!!! đđđ
Good stuff sir thx
I took collagen for my skin, turned out it strengthened my nails and cured the fungus on my toes. I didn't have it really bad, but I did have it for a couple years.

I †your sense of humour đđđđTHANKS GOR THE ADVISE DOC đđâ€
Aaaah yes, living shoeless!! excellent!
I got rid of toenail fungas by soaking my feet in Epson salt bath with a teaspoon of tea tree oil for one week
Now I do it about once a month for maintenance
Soaking toes in apple cider vinegar works!
how long before seeing results
I'll try it thx
My podiatrist also recommends Epson salt soaks after ingrown toenail surgery.

At last...thanks for this
My sister has this problem and they have prescribed her Fungonail. She has just started the treatment but she tells me it is too long. I'll share this info with her. Thank you, Dr Berg.
My grandparents thought us from back in the days to use Epson salt for for problems from fungus to pain.
Dear Dr, remedy for underarm fungal infection please? Thank you.
i soak often in epsom salt baths but never thought that could have been reason the fungus on my big toe was getting better... i have been using colloidal silver in spray bottle daily and assumed that was what killed the fungus? maybe combo of both! who knows but it worked! and fast!
Dr. Berg-We Love You! TY
I just started the epson salt treatment. I really đ it works.
Amazing!
Thanks Doc!
Most welcome!
You are garet sir
A very similar alternative is salt and vinegar. Also the apple cider vinegar casuals 'you' might take in the keto-diet will help kill the fungi from inside. (nail fungus lives on sugar)
No ma'am. Nail fungus thrives on moisture
Good 2 know. Thanx
i did subscribe before 3M
you deserve 30M
Cured mine with SUN light exposure. I live in a sunny state so I am lucky. And I only wear closed shoes when I have to. Gym mainly...
Thank you Dr berg this really works
Glad it helps!
A little hydrophilic cotton wool between toes before socks go on... helps to avoid clammy damp too...
Dr. Eric thanks for this video info. âđ. congrats. u have now 3M+ more of subscribes đđ€âđžđŽ
U R AMAZING!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!
Glad to help!
I love epson salt in the tub. I hope using cheap great value is ok. I really donât know how it is processed.
I will try this on my husband, he had a stroke on May 29, 2021. He now has toenail fungus with edema in his feet and ankles. I had toenail fungus years ago and I put my foot in bleach and it was cured. I don't think that would be good for my husband, so I will try your way.
Love you, doctor Berg. Canât take the thumbnail tho. Lol
Thanks Boss! đł
thank you đ
Most welcome!
@Dr Berg
Does this also work for finger nail fungus ?
Not bad doc good man
I tried Epsom Salt but probably didn't keep with it long enough, something that did work was a paste of Castor Oil and baking soda. Used every night and it showed results after about 2 weeks, kept at it for several months. Wear socks to keep it on toes while sleeping.
jioettop - Did you eventually cure at least ONE toe??
