- How to cure toenail fungus has been the topic of many videos and blog posts. Almost all of these 'cures' only address part of the problem and include a product they're trying to sell you. In this video, I will address all the issues that lead to this condition, and give you strategies that will fix toenail fungus, and keep it gone forever.
Toenail fungus can be just a cosmetic problem, or be a sign of underlying metabolic or immune system issues, and can lead to serious medical problems. With these strategies, you can improve toenail fungus, and help to prevent many other related issues.
So many people suffer from toenail fungus and need these strategies shared with them because they just don't know they can fix it. Help me share these strategies so you never have to look at another fungus-ravaged toenail!

ToeNail Fungus HATES this Diet ▶▶▶ bit.ly/KETO101
I stopped sleeping in socks and it went away. Easy does it
Hello DR Berry, I may have an unusual case here. My big toe "looks" like it has toe fungus on it but im not sure that it "IS" fungus. What happened was about 22 years ago I was moving a fridge on some dollies and it slid off and fell on my big toe. I done the drilling a hole in the nail to relieve the pressure but the nail never got better. It has been like this for 22 years. The end of the nail bulges up and looks just like fungus. Ive tried everything but having the nail removed to see if it would grow back normal. will Keto life reverse this?
What are your thoughts on undecylenic acid? Also, would putting rubbing alcohol help kill the bacteria? I know it will keep them dry.
Lugols or Nascent iodine applied directly is an extremely powerful fungicide. I'm not an MD but I know a thing or two about chemistry and biology. Forget the other topical 'remedies' like acetic acid - they are weak and inferior. Iodine is key. It sticks around a lot longer than anything else and continues to work after the initial application. Applied regularly, the only negative side effect is that your toes are stained yellowish. I used iodine to 'cure' an abscessed tooth infection that according to mainstream medical practice, was "not possible". Rather than paying some highly educated moron to preform a $4,000 root canal procedure, I treated the affected tooth with topical nascent iodine for a few dollars and 3 years later there is no evidence of an abscess; which is nothing short of a miracle considering that I have poor oral hygiene and never brush my teeth. So happy I took things into my own hands. From my perspective most 'Doctors' have become little more than 'glorified pharmaceutical vending machines'. I feel like a medical scientist would be of more use to someone than a doctor. If I were wealthy enough I would consult a team of medical scientists rather than doctors. I'm digressing... anyway... Iodine not only kills bacteria and fungi, it is a vital component of the immune system and facilitates an environment conducive to the healing process. I cannot imagine a single doctors office that doesn't have copious amounts of iodine on hand - even in underdeveloped countries. Yet if you go in with a toenail fungus they will prescribe you a barrage of expensive experimental medicines... with numerous untold side-effects... when the solution is literally within arms reach of the doctor the entire time but for some reason remains an unattainable treatment option the patient isn't even so much as educated about!!! I find that a bit ironic and really brings into question the efficacy of the modern 'doctor patient' relationship. Seems like doctors are made to walk a bureaucratic tight-rope so tense you could pluck a tune on it.
What's your thoughts on the listerine soak?
Skip to 4:33 to actually get to the topic.
1.) Less sugar and carbs.
2.) Don't wear shoes when possible, be barefoot as much as possible.
3.) Exposure to the sun is hostile to foot fungus, 5 minutes per day of exposure.
4.) Apple cider vinegar soak once a month.
5.) Hygiene, use an old tooth brush to clean your toes in the shower.
6.) Keep nails trimmed, but not around the corners, no digging, straight cuts.
7.) blow dry toes with hair dryer after shower.

Thank you Dr Berry for the most complete info on this subject and thank you TruthAndMoreTruth for a concise recap. Am going to try.
I came to the comments just for this, thanks

What is up with the doctors on CZcams being way better physicians than the doctors I have seen throughout the years?! Excellent advice as always.
right?!?!?!?
I was prescribed a max dose statin following a vertebral artery dissection stroke. I don't take the statin but the PCP doesn't know that because I won't tell him.
Doctors don't have to utter a word when they can just write a script
As you can see here that this doc needed to spend more than 11 mins to thoroughly explained the nature of the simple disease like fungal infection. However in a reality patient would interrupt and ask questions, plus they would have many other medical concerns or complaints too, so in order to cover for everything doc has to be quick and brief.
Good guys get up-voted.
I've struggled with nail fungus for decades. I started applying pure vitamin E oil on my feet because they were so dry and I have diabetes and didn't want my feet to crack. After a few months or so, I noticed that my nails looked different. Upon further inspection, I figured out that it was basically gone. New nail growth with no cracks or flaking. Yay for natural healing!!

every night or ?
You may not like this but 3% hydrogen peroxide painted on with a cotton bud once a day for a month kills it dead. May or may not cure it permanently but it’s a great kick start, also kills warts although large ones may take a while
yep 2 diabetes can be cured in weeks. look for videos. its drug free and diet related helps.
GREAT! ty for sharing that tip!
I lost half my toenail to fungus after I had covid and was run down. I had the fungus for years before that, but it had never been that bad. I used oil of oregano directly on the affected skin for a couple of weeks, once in the morning and then at night (I probably forgot a few times). This treatment completely eradicated the fungus, my toenail grew back normally over the winter and the fungus is permanently gone. I did not change my diet, did not get new socks, or anything. It worked for me and oil of oregano is found at most health food stores, or on Amazon.
That said, the diet mentioned on this video is also a great idea for general health. Good luck!
UPDATE: My toenail continues to be fungus free and completely healthy. Oil of Oregano is powerful stuff!
Did you use oregano oil undiluted.?
@@dommccaffry3802 Yes, a couple of drops undiluted.

The most honest and knowledgable video I've seen on toenail fungus!
This is the video that led me to the keto lifestyle 2 1/2 years ago. The toenail fungus cleared up, and there have been many other unexpected health benefits. Ending a decades-long struggle with depression and anxiety has to top the list. I sometimes wonder how different my life might have been if I had discovered keto years earlier. In any event, it has improved greatly since I did.
WoW, Amazing
I gave up sugar and within 30 days my toenail has lightened quite a bit.
Had to change diet do to hyperthyroidism so not out of the woods healthwise but at least my big toe likes me better.
That's great! Did you do anything else besides change to Keto, like take vitamins or minerals etc?
I did Keto for nearly 3 years, did not clear fungus up. What has really helped was when I went healthy eating the Mediterranean way. I've had more improvement now than I ever did on Keto. Plus it's less expensive and less restrictive.
@@pamplant3610 Thank you for posting. Did you use a certain Mediterranean program?
You're doing the public a great service. Thank you.
Thanks Dr. Berry! You Rock! I give God all the glory for the amazing miraculous changes I've been able to accomplish over two years, but your videos were my best support system. I can't thank you enough for what you have done for me and my family. (My son watched your videos and lost 100lbs. on Keto. He loves your sound advice and has kept the weight off. He has 7 children who were developing weight problems from the "SAD" food lies I was taught! So you see how you, not only helped one person, but a whole tribe of great people too! I have 3 children, 13 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren!!! 👏👏👏😱)
I did Keto (lost 75lbs. and quit smoking) for the inside attack, and Tea Tree Oil on the outside of my toes, air dried, twice a day for six months. I finally have decent looking toenails! Getting them filed to be straight has been a challenge. They would grow out all thick and raggedy, shredding my sheets and socks. But with time I got the nails healthy and straight again. Now I just have to maintain with your awesome suggestions and good to go! 👏👏👏👏
Excellent advice. I was a podiatric medical assistant for over 20 years, and diet was always the missing link to a long term cure.
Son los consejos más sensatos y precisos que he escuchado en años. Muchas pero muchas gracias. Saludos desde México 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
Excellent presentation! The hardest part of defeating (no pun intended) toe nail fungus is the six to seven long months for new fungus free nail to grow back.
Dr.Berry, I feel my vocabulary is lacking the strength to properly express my gratitude for all the information/help. So I’ll just say, ThankYou Sir, for all of the countless hours and time you put into doing these videos.
Just say it lol
Awesome! Thank you! My podiatrist told me that toenail fungus could never be cured. But ive been doing nearly everything you mentioned on this video, except for the Low carbs, and my toes look great! This should work folks!! Be consistent for 6 months!
Did you cut your nail right back? Take all the fungus nail off? I did..I fixed my toenail.
How's it now? What worked for you?
Terrible advice. From a podiatrist! My toenails lifted away from my toes, so I cut them right down to the base( no pain or blood as they were were not attached to flesh anyway), then applied over the counter nail fungus treatment every day and after every shower. After four months my nice new nails are nearly full length. I haven’t changed my high sugar diet. From April I start wearing open toed sandals and I don’t wear shoes and socks until September. No one commented on my toes. Even if people noticed , it was worth it to get my toenails back.
Like the Doc said, it goes away but if you don’t keep the practice up, it will come back.
Dr Berry is an example of a good family doctor.
I've had nail fungus for many years in my big toe and have tried everything except oral medication and this was the best advice I've received!
Thank you Dr. Berry for covering this topic and offering some good solutions. I also learn so much from the comments of your followers. Blessings to you!!

Dr Berry is straight talking & no nonsense advice! A great Doc! 🙏🏽🌹
BEST DR EVER!!! I love that your advice is just natural, eating right and doing other things like exposure to sun, which I had no idea, fungus didn't like. I just got fungus on the tip of my nail, it had to occur weeks ago, because, beginning of August, there was no sign of fungus, I just had trauma to the nail from June wearing my sneakers and walking many hours and bumping into a kid on the street which he ended up stepping on my big toe, was hell! I came home and saw that I had gotten a bruised toe nail and or blood underneath the nail. So since June, the nail has been fine and slowly growing out the bruising, it went from the cuticle to now being the middle of my nail, which I'm happy about, it's almost there of getting outgrown. But, today, I took off my white nail polish and saw that I had discoloration of whiteish/yellowish color at the tip of my nail, I freaked out that it could be fungus ;( The weird thing is, I'M ALWAYS BAREFOOT, ALL YEAR ROUND, I'm a barefoot lover, I love to be free and hate wearing socks. I have NEVER had a problem with fungus with my toe nails, EVER, so I'm so shocked as to why I or how I got it?!? :(
I know lately I have been eating sugar like crazy, because I haven't had sugar since summer started, I've been deprived, so I went crazy with the sugar ;(, I'm guessing that's why the fungus happened? ;( I'm already a skinny girl naturally, I hate being on a diet, it just means I'm going to get skinnier ;( This blows ;(
File the surface of the nails to lessen the density of its thickness and it will help take pressure off ingrown toenail. Cut short after and apply tea tree oil 2x a day. Less nail bed, less fungal activity. Dry your nails with blow dryer after bathing.
Dear Doctor, I'd like to thank you for your lessons, which in fact are changing my life. I've been eating a quasi carnivore diet, with a bit of almonds, cashews, Brazil nuts, yellow cheese, and coffee with a bit of cream for breakfast, and my health improved without precedents. Thank you very much!
I went on a low-carb diet a few weeks ago and I have noticed a huge improvement in my toenail fungus. It is slowly dissappearing and new healthy nail is growing back already!
I definitely have slight toe nail fungus on one foot, it's not bad now and is improving from low carbs, sunlight and soaking my feet once in a while. Thanks for your video as it has some additional tips for me to implement!! Much appreciated!
Dr Berry has it right. I've been helping people with toe nail fungus for 30+ years and I know it works. The hardest part is getting people to make a commitment to look after their feet after I helped them.
antipersperant and treat your entire foot too. the fungus could actually be all over your feet with no athletes foot symptoms. athletes foot spray
Great medical advice. I had a toenail infection, fungal, and doing a similar regimen was able to grow a new healthy nail. No current signs of fungus, but still practice this regime. Especially blow drying my feet and keeping my nails trimmed to a reasonable length.Yes, the deep ridge that the nail developed took months to grow out, but did not return. I acquired the infection after someone suggested I let my toenails grow longer for appearances. The problem was the longer the nail the more moisture remained under the nail,. A setup for a fungal infection. My feet look great, and my shorter nails look beautiful in red nail polish! Important in the summer months wearing scandals! Thanks Doctor Berry, great advice.
Great follow up validation Bonnie Oliver. Thanks for sharing.
I had two toenails with fungus and I agree, a healthy diet and hygeine. I use a back brush in my shower, but not on my back. I use it to scrub my feet and toes. After my shower, without fail, I drop Tea Tree Oil on my toenails before putting on my socks. My nails have grown out beautifully and free of fungus. I do trim them as needed and keep them straight. I am 65 years old and saw how bad my parents and siblings toenails got with fungus. I can say I will never have nails like that. I continue to use the tea tree oil and my nails are healthy and free of fungus.
I’ve had toe fungus all my life and I’m 60+ years...and been on lamisill 3 times and NEVER has my dr said change my diet...going to start today...THANKS a for doing these vids👍🇨🇦

Had fungus on most of my toenails some 16 years ago. I took lamisil for 3 months straight and cured the infection and haven't had an issue since. Great advice but haven't tried any of this.
Interesting. I had an infection a few years ago that caused the toenail to get dry and brittle. I used a lot of hand sanitizer on it and about a week later it seemed a little better. The nail started growing back healthy and I kept using the alcohol based germ killing hand sanitizer. It eventually resolved when the new nail grew back. I use hand sanitizer on all my clippers now to be sure they don’t infect a nail.
I eat extremely low carb - have for years - and did all the things my dermatologist and you have recommended, to no avail. The thing that worked like magic was a daily soak in 1 part vinegar, 1 part listerine mouthwash, and 1 part water. I could see the new, clean toenail growing in after about a month. Also worked great for foot odor - can wear sandals again without them getting really smelly in the summer. Now I soak once/week for maintenance, although wifey hates the smell. Works great!
What is your measurements for daily soak of vinegar, listerine mouthwash and water? Like how many cups and how many times a week?
@@phoebetalib8397 one cup vinegar, one cup regular Listerine, mouthwash, - don’t use the blue, otherwise your feet will turn blue! - 2 cups water. do this daily for a month or two, then you can space it out. I do once a week for maintenance. I don’t mind the smell, but my wife says to make sure you have plenty of ventilation!
Hi. How long did you soak your feet daily, when nails were affected?
Well not only do I learn so much from you Doc but I also love your accent. As a U.K. Person I usually struggle with American accents. But you are very easy to understand. Keep them coming, please. Very much appreciated.
That’s a “Southern” accent. I think maybe you can understand southern people better than the other accents in USA. I’m southern born and bred and people in my own country, in areas other than the South, don’t understand me. So it’s awesome you can. Lol
Many British actors claim the southern American accent is the easiest to learn and to preform. It’s related to old English in a lot of ways. My mother would say to me, “Come hither” and “over yonder” or “yonder” and she was from Tennessee.
I had a really bad fungus on one of my fingernails, tried everything ... Finally I put a few drops of tea tree oil on a Band-Aid wrapped that around that fingernail.... did this for about a week straight and, Presto! No more nail fungus for this girl!
Hi I was wondering what kind of tea tree oil you used it would be a big help for my friend:)
@@claudiasilvas1234 I'm sorry I don't remember that.
I used buckwheat honey that had started to sugar (made it less messy) and put it on morning and night and then putting a bandaid over the top. It took 4 or 5 months before I could see that the nail was beginning to grow out normally. It took several more months for the entire nail to grow out enough to get rid of the ugly nail. Once the nail was growing out the way it should, I discontinued the honey treatment.
Awesome!
Yep tea tree oil works every time Melaleuca Teatree oil is the best!

After I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes and before I could begin to get it under control I started having major problems with embarrassing toenail fungus. I was given several options for curing this problem but none of them seemed to be good solutions and some of them were even dangerous and my pharmacist recommended against using them. I then started researching natural remedies and saw that a tincture made out of black walnut hulls was considered very effective against toe fungus as well as many other health issues, and since I had such a tree on my property I decided to give it a try. This cure worked very well and would stop the growth of the fungus right away, regular treatment every two or three days would keep it from returning and after my blood glucose levels were under control I was able to just treat my toenails occasionally if I noticed a problem. But, using the black walnut tincture turned my toenails an ugly brown color which was better than the fungus still ugly. During my research, I had learned that the main anti-infection ingredient in this tincture was natural iodine the walnut hulls. This then gave me the idea to just use store-bought iodine tincture, which it turned out worked even better than my walnut hull remedy with a little less staining of the nail. One day when looking around my local pharmacy I found a bottle of "Decolorized" Iodine tincture! Now I finally have the perfect solution to toenail fungus, the decolorized Iodine tincture cures my toenail fungus and once or twice a month treatments keep it away with little or no nail discoloration. I hope that this tip helps someone!
What do you mean by tincture
@@TheLitlendn I was wondering the same. According to Wiki. A tincture is typically an extract of plant or animal material dissolved in ethanol (ethyl alcohol). Solvent concentrations of 25-60% are common, but may run as high as 90%. In chemistry, a tincture is a solution that has ethanol as its solvent. In herbal medicine, alcoholic tinctures are made with various ethanol concentrations, 20% being the most common.
@@terencemolloy9450 Decolorized Iodine is 45% alcohol so it's a tincture.
EPSOM SALTS work well. Dissolve Epsom salts in a cup, apply it to the nail bed having beforehand filed down the nail all over it, not just the tips. Wear open toe sandals as much as possible. Keto diet no carbs.
Lawrence Pierson excellent info!
I did all this, but not the Lamisil. I did something extra tho. In the beginning I was rigid and certainly used the blow drier! I cut my nails short and kept them clean, but I also sanded my nail down. All the nail. They actually looked normal when I did this. Don’t let this fool you. After sanding tho, I immediately swabbed tea tree oil on all my nails - even the ones that weren’t icky. Diet, exercise, sun, trim nails straight across, scrub them super clean, dry thoroughly, file or sand the nail to where it is thinner (this was relief on my ingrown toe nails), dry with a dryer and immediately apply tea tree oil to nails all over and in the crevices and under the nail bed. Only file or sand when they need it, of course. AFter that, continue to clean, dry and apply tea tree oil after showering. Also, make sure you have fresh clean socks. In the beginning I would change them out twice a day and was constantly washing my socks and would reapply the tea tree oil to be tough on the fungus.
Now, it returns about once every two years. I do the above once and maybe apply the tea tree oil for about a week, only wear fresh clean socks and I’m good to go in about a week or two. The main thing is diet, exercise and good hygiene on the toes. I have type 2 diabetes and this was criminal to my immune system. Not only do I not have icky nails, but no dry and cracked heels. I buy socks more often now and never hesitate to just throw old socks out.
Adapting for the long time, like he suggests is key.
I have big feet so I stub my toes a lot, and believe that may have caused a fungal big toe for a long time, but it only has affected the top left 1/4 luckily. Also, thankfully it has never spread to other toes. I am so going to start this regiment. I have already modified my diet to exclude almost all carbs about a 4 months ago, and have already noticed the nail is not as thick as it was. Thank you for this.
I got toe fungus when I was in my late 20's. I took very good care of my feet and toe nails. I did eat alot of carbs. I took a bad fall and tore part of my toenail off. It got infected and bam the fungus took off growing. I ended up having to have 3 toenails removed.

Hi pretty lady. How are you doing today???
Thank you for the advice, definitely going to do that.
Thank you, Doc. I've been suffering for this for years .
Tea Tree oil is the best
@@ZeeDog27 guess depends for who never worked for me nor oregano oil
tried for years... nothing
@@ZeeDog27 is that essential oil or normal
I first noticed the hollow in my toenails 10 years ago. I've tried everything and only one thing (fungi nail solution) worked once.
I've been struggling still and it affects my confidence. I feel in the Caribbean where sandals and slippers are the preferred footwear. I'll try this and give feedback. Thanks for sharing.
I’ve used Tea Tree Oil on toe nail fungus and it definitely worked.
I used warm vinegar soaks, then dry my nails and use Tea tree oil! Works great!
Do you dilute the tea tree oil with a carrier oil? I was thinking about mixing it with a little coconut oil since I believe coconut oil is antimicrobial, as well. Thanks
@@lisahawker3505 use pure lavender oil as a carrier oil
Julia, how long did you soak your toes in the warm vinegar? Also, do you recall how long it took? Thanks! Much appreciated.
Thank you, Dr. Berry. Good advice.
Be Well.
I think it may 6 months, but to see your toenail improve will be a Godsend. At least there will be a ray of hope. These ideas are fantastic and they make sense.
I don't even have to ask anymore...the answer is always no sugar, no carbs.
Yup. That fixes just about everything. 😎
Terbinafine also know as Lamisil prescribed by Dr. will work it is tablet form.
yep I've been doing it and I'm finally seeing results
😂😂 That's real i have the same issue with my nails and after keto fungus gone after 4 month
Literally changed my life. Except i work out in florida heat all day so i consume 20g of carbs a week.
If you have elderly relatives, check their feet and toenails at least once per month! They tend to NOT take care of what they cannot either see or reach. Stop problems before they happen!!
And check their shower for grout mold
If you have elderly relatives, they should not eat no sugar and carbs whatsoever...
@@btudrus Actually NO ONE should eat sugar/carbs. The KETO diet is the best way to insure a disease free life!
Thank you Dr Berry for all your hard amazing work 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for this great information- it all makes perfect sense. I’ll start giving the tips a try today!
The best video ive ever seen. I will show this to my husband because he is doing the EXACT OPPOSITE of what's right. So stubborn.
A twist on the toothbrush advice is to use a sonicare brush, and for soap use a drop of Nizoral shampoo with it. Nizoral's active ingredient is ketaconozole, an anti-fungal agent. It was once prescribed in pill form (like Lamisil) specifically to treat nail fungus (but it no longer is as it was too hard on the liver when taken internally). That damn fungus is tough stuff - gotta attack it every way possible to get it gone.
Going to try this.. this shampoo helped me with flakes like if I had dandruff, that was giving me allergy..I thought also it was the gel. But used this and problem solved. Went back to my regular shampoo. Thanks for the tip.
Did it really work?
Nizoral is excellent! I use it on my scalp & as a body wash. I'll have to try it on the toenail.
You are a great teacher! In addition to your recommendations, I’m having good results using UVC light.
Toe fungus is how I found out my liver was in trouble. The Podiatrist couldn't subscribe the medication because my liver was too compromised. Wow! I quickly made an appointment with a gastro Dr, labs showed my liver enzymes were elevated in the 80's, which if those numbers go into the 100's, your liver may be in a state of scurrilousous. That was 7 years ago. I'm thankful and grateful for the care of Specialists that identify and treat life threatening diseases. Thank you Dr. Berry for your videos.
How did you treat your liver?
I am on 75 days carnivore diet, my toenails are almost returned to normal, there is a bit of yellow on tip. No sugar no carbs no junk
No veggies at all?
@@enough1494 no veggies. Only animal based intake
@@archerrunner both my big toes are sick! I worked rescue in Puerto Rico for about 6 months and my feet were always wet. Just animal will be hard I eat a lot of veggies and fruit! Any other suggestions, they look aweful!
@@archerrunner on the personal, thnaks and my uncle’s nick name was Chago from Santiago! 😔
I on the other hand, can't touch animal protein, even grass fed, it makes me lethargic and causes stomach upset. Dairy is the worst. Not all bodies are alike. A plant protein diet is the best. Oh, I eat fish every now and then with no problem.
I had toenail fungus bad in my two big toes. I finally learned how to get rid of it. Every evening after I got out of my bath I scrubbed my toenails with Peroxide generously.Dried them off with a towel and then squirted some more peroxide on them let them air-dry. My toenails were so bad they had raised the middle of the toenail up 3/8 of an inch ,with fungus. Peroxide bath got rid of it. I still put Peroxide on my toes when I get out of my bath and it has kept it under control .Toenails look beautiful.
...right...that works BETTER than...that apple-cider-vinegar''...and smells Better...too..!!
Thank you....been at my 'wits' end with trying to 'attack' this pesty thing lol...
Will start using ASAP..........
Will be trying... How long did it take?

@@ClearAdventure HI ... Actually YES....it's drying the toe nail out...an nail is flaking off ( or I can lol peel ) .. So bad that 3 nail beds are ; ( raised....an that's where it's helping....Never thought inbtwn toes but skin builds up there just from wearing socks/shoes...... GOOD LUCK : )
Lol, I was on strict keto for 2 years and did everything he mentioned. Never got any better. Been fighting this for 13 years trying EVERYTHING....nothing has made it better 😢
Thank you Dr. Berry. This was very informative. I have a toe nail fungus on both big toe nails
Hi there! Your post on here was made one year ago. Have you seen a difference in your toenail fungus?
Please do a video about how to get rid of thorn warts! Seems like doctors can’t really help with this. Tried so much, but no success. Also, I wanted to let you know that people from outside the US, UK and Canada are watching, too. I’m watching from Germany, would pay a lot of money to have a doc like you, and am happy to see your channel grow! Keep up the great work, Sir!
YES!!! So glad to hear from a doctor not trying to sell his own " fantastic cure all, for a special one the only offer" THANKS for being a truly wonderful caring doctor!!!!😉🙂

Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar cures WARTS
@jimmyfly If you believe that it's all BS, why are you wasting your time watching the video and then commenting????
Thank you for your video - this was extremely helpful; and I learned tips I had not heard before!
Thank you utube for your wonderful excellent teaching and inspiration for people in needs
My big toenails lifted up during pandemic from leaving on nail polish. I just added more polish when the nail grew out. When I finally removed the polish, I realized my toenail had lifted off the bed. Now it's slowly growing back normally. Don't leave polish on forever!
Thank you so much Brother! good advice, sure I will follow that because I have toenail fungus. God bless you!
I had mild toenail fungus and when I started wearing open toe sandals, without sox, the fungus cleared up. At that time I wasn't on keto but I saw my Indian friends always wearing sandals and realised the toes will be dry in sunlight with the sandals. This all backs up what you have said about dry feet and sunlight. Thanks for your educational videos Dr Berry.
Indians do love their Adidas flip flops, don't they?
@@charliedillon1400 Hehe
@@charliedillon1400 Yup
Great idea! An easy way to sunlight on your toes without having to add in an extra thing to do each day!
@@timjkoala7556 I don't have it bad but it's been niggling around. I go barefoot in sandals all summer but that alone does not get rid of it in my experience you have to do the other suggested things as well. Good luck.
I’m very glad I found this video! Thank you Dr. Berry!
Always enjoy watching your videos. Thanks 🙂
I used vagisil anti fungal cream on my toes. Took six months but worked great.
Thank you for your excellent and thorough advice on this, as I have been struggling with a stubborn toenail fungus. Will definitely give this a try. I also subscribed to your Channel. 🇨🇦👍👍
Okay this actually makes so much sense in retrospect.
I started getting this issue when i moved up north.
I grew up in florida, only not wearing flipflops when i went to school. Was a very outdoorsy kid who ate a lot of fish.
Moved up north, had to swap to closed shoes most of the year, ate less fish(landlocked state), and work night shift (no sun).
Youre right about it being a largely lifestyle based thing
I just started watching you a couple days ago and you are way better at explaing things then the Dr i have now,and it seems like you really do care about people and there health so thank you.
If you have not seen this recent Dr. Berry video, do yourself a favor and watch it. It changed the way I think about food. czcams.com/video/ync9r_ylQjQ/video.html
This seems very healthful. I will try all of this, I have sever pain in my whole foot. Large toe tail is a little infected.
When my toenail was infected I soaked it in a mix of epsom salt and table salt in warm water. It cleared right up.
Thanks for these tips and tricks. I've been following and practicing them for the past year. I've suffered with this since I was kid growing up in south FL. All my toe nails have been infected since then. Last year, I bought my first pair of sandals. I'm retired so, I can wear them all day, every day. Sunshine? I live in the Mohave Desert here in AZ where there is more sunshine here than any other state in the union. I spend most of my daylight time outside, year round. My toes get more than their fair share of sunlight every day. Although, I can see improvement in my toes, after one year in a very sunny, dry climate, I still have toe fungus. I believe I need to look at my diet a lot closer than I have this past year. That may hold the key to success along with the exposure to the sun. I'll report my results in another year. Thanks again for the common sense method you offer. You are to be commended!
Hey any results?
Its been an additional 10 months since my last post. I can only think of 3 or 4 occasions where I had to wear shoes that covered my toes. Result? Non. My toenails are as they have always been most my life, yellow, thick and still no signs of relief from toe fungus.
Sunshine alone won’t do the job. Try soaking in warm water and vinegar, applying tee tree oil.. anti fungal creams but file the nail down.. so these things can penetrate through.
@@OnaOdlaziNaJug I did that prior to trying this method. It too was a no go.
