Hi Oscar, I'm not sure if you've noticed, but in your hypothetical scenario (starting at 10:22), the year for the I-140 submission onwards should be 2024, not 2023.

I am from Pakistan. I had a query that what if I visit US through tourist visa and there i ask to change my status from Tourist visa to EB2 NIW without any job offer as NIW only requires masters degree. So the question is how much time estimated would it take to change the status and 2nd Question that can i immediately call my immediate family members after getting EB 2 visa or if not immediately so how much time could it take to call family ?

Hi! I have not met any pianist doing NIW but it is possible. For sure, more difficult than STEM endeavors. If the musician can demonstrate he or she is top of their field, I would encourage them to check EB1A instead

1. My approval is beyond 60 days now and no welcome letter from NVC is this normal?
2. Do you give service in the NVC stage for consular processing or can you recommend materials for me to read, watch and follow as examples.
3. I need clearance for this if possible. During the interview with the visa officer, do we need to show proof of funds and housing accommodation?
4. My PD is June 2023 can you give estimates on when date can become current?

This vlog came a little too late for me. I have a B2 but I am not in the US. I contemplated if going for the EB2 would risk my 10yr Visa and I could not get a straigth answer, so with a heavy heart I risked it. Can you say if I am denied the EB2 approval if it would affect my B2 Visa status to reenter for vacation?
I can't, really. The reason you cannot find straight answer is because there isn't one. A visitor visa is not dual intent, so showing immigration intent may cause issues for traveling, but the final decision is on the agent at the border. It is very possible that if you don't have to renew the visa you would not face any problems at the border, but this is not a guarantee.

Hi Oscar you are doing a great job. Your videos are quite helpful. Please reply I have a question. If applying for eb2 NIW from outside US. In Part 1 of I-140 form what to add in mailing address as it takes address of USA only.
You can write an address abroad too (in fact there is a field for Country)

@faizamunir7606 just print and fill out those fields by hand, or use another software to type anywhere in the PDF. You can do this, if you are going for a merit based green card I trust you can solve this issue ;)

I have PD 9 March 2023 and I am from Pakistan. when do u think i might have my pd current. I have heard that US EMBASSY IN ISLAMABAD embassy not dealing with EB 2 niw at all and even cases of 2021 waiting. So it may take 3 to 4 years in my case? pls guide I am really worried

"Sorry" that you have listen for a few minutes and it took a lot of your mental strenght. Now imagine doing the research on the topic, making slides, presenting them in front of a camera, editing the video, uploading it, making chapters so you can easily find the content inside the video (if you don't want to wait those few minutes) , making a thumbnail so you can identify the video easily in CZcams...and then come here and read your comment about how much mental strength it took you to wait for a few minutes (of necessary context) to get the info you wanted.
