I love traveling other countries, and riding cycle just like you (unfortunately, somebody stole my cycle 1 month ago🥲) However, I am not as active as you, so when I am alone I couldn't talk to others much. So, the way you enjoy communicating with people who don't even speak the same language was a great example for me. Also, I was really surprised to see you study the history and the pain of the past of our country. You are different from ordinary tourists. So cool! I will join the military next week. As you know, All the Korean men have a duty. If there are many people who are interested in our country like you, I think i can cheer up more! Thank you so much. After I’m discharged from the military, I will buy a new bicycle and go on a trip alone like you! Visit Korea anytime! All Koreans will welcome you😊😊

There is the UN Memorial Cemetery in Korea (UNMCK) in Busan. I think it is one of the most sublimely beautiful cemeteries in the world. Korean people will be forever grateful to the veterans who fought for our freedom.

Tap water in Korea is perfect for drinking. 100% of domestic sewage is treated before joining to Han river, then picked up for further purification for tap water.
Korea's tap water is clean and safe in the world.. The reason why Koreans don't just drink tap water is because they don't like the process of purifying it.... And Koreans have long had a habit of drinking water like tea because it is cut off from barley.. If you look up about Korea's water quality, you will see that Korea's water quality is clean in the world. And we used to drink tap water just before, but Koreans who are sensitive to hygiene wanted more water purification, so there are water purifiers in each house

Japan would haven been split into west/east. Korea got split instead because Japan quickly surrendered to the US and the soviet had to take something. And Japan would have been a mere agricultural country as intended by the US. The Korean war changed the US plan for Japan and they were made into an industrial country to stop the spread of Soviet/China influence.
The reason why the water quality in Korea is clean is not only because of the excellent water purification facilities, but also because granite is distributed in many places where the water flows, so it is possible to maintain clean water quality without spending a lot of money.

A crazy fact on the early bit from the vid, is that the Korean alphabet was actually invented by King Sejong all by himself. ppl just takes it as some other scholars were involved since the difficulty of doing such seems impossible to be done alone, but the historical facts say that the alphabet was from the King himself all along. Most of the scholars at that time actually refused the invention of the hangul, seeing that using separate writing systems with China(Ming) at that time is a rebellious act from the superpower.
You visited unknown rural parts of Korea where I am not even interested in to visit as Korean and tried many local food that I have not even tried in my life, so kudos to your curious mind and please come back to Korea soon and explore our unique but beautiful culture! Next time you visit, I recommend a culinary tour of Seoul. Exploring restaurants or taking a street tour in areas like Hongdae, Itaewon, Seongsu-dong, Gangnam, and Samcheong-dong would be great fun. Seoul is too vast and complex to navigate by bike. Instead, take the cool and efficient subway or bus to explore the city. I'm very sorry about the War Memorial being closed.

Here in the US, I'm the same way. I don't drink pure tap water. I use a filter.

한국의 수돗물은 먹어도 안전할정도로 충분히 깨끗하고 위생적이지만 소독을 위해 염소를 사용하기때문에 맛이 좋지는 않습니다(사먹는 물에 비교해서)
그래서 맛을 위해 보통은 물을 사먹거나 추가로 정화시켜 먹는것이 일반적입니다
그러나 단순히 갈증을 해소하거나 생존을 위해서는 수돗물을 얼마든지 마셔도 무해합니다

Interestingly, without help and/or supports from other scholars, King Sejong solely invented the Korean alphabets. Rather, scholars at the time opposed to make Korean alphabets.

And we used to drink tap water just before, but Koreans who are sensitive to hygiene wanted more water purification, so there are water purifiers in each house

Japan would haven been split into west/east. Korea got split instead because Japan quickly surrendered to the US and the soviet had to take something. And Japan would have been a mere agricultural country as intended by the US. The Korean war changed the US plan for Japan and they were made into an industrial country to stop the spread of Soviet/China influence.
The reason why the water quality in Korea is clean is not only because of the excellent water purification facilities, but also because granite is distributed in many places where the water flows, so it is possible to maintain clean water quality without spending a lot of money.

A crazy fact on the early bit from the vid, is that the Korean alphabet was actually invented by King Sejong all by himself. ppl just takes it as some other scholars were involved since the difficulty of doing such seems impossible to be done alone, but the historical facts say that the alphabet was from the King himself all along. Most of the scholars at that time actually refused the invention of the hangul, seeing that using separate writing systems with China(Ming) at that time is a rebellious act from the superpower.

Next time you visit, I recommend a culinary tour of Seoul. Exploring restaurants or taking a street tour in areas like Hongdae, Itaewon, Seongsu-dong, Gangnam, and Samcheong-dong would be great fun. Seoul is too vast and complex to navigate by bike. Instead, take the cool and efficient subway or bus to explore the city. I'm very sorry about the War Memorial being closed.

이순신 장군은 영국 해군 교관 교육자료에도 등장하시는 걸로 알고 있습니다.그의 업적은 한국에만 국한된 것이 아닙니다.참고로 한국의 물은 그냥 마셔도 문제 없습니다.다만, 한국인들이 워낙 깔끔쟁이라 정수물이나 생수를 마실뿐이지요^^
