Israel pulled out of the Gaza Strip in 2005. Hamas was elected by the Palestinians in 2006. Hamas has run the Gazans for 17 years, as a result, 60% poverty rate and 45% unemployment rate in Gaza. American taxpayers give 600 million dollars in aid to the 2.2 million Palestinians every year. Where did that money go? Please stop blaming Israel but the Hamas government.

As shown on “Secrets of Great British Castles” last week on Sky History Channel 2 - about Carrickfergus Castle - the Gaza situation now parallels the English dispossession of Irish Catholic natives in the 17th Century, stealing their land and homes and giving them to English Protestants. Native Irish were not even allowed into the settlements (plantations) and forced to subsist in the forests. When they fought back and massacred the settlers, the English once again demonized the Irish as savages with wild one-sided propaganda and even sent unofficial mercenaries to hunt them down for sport alongside the official English genocide.

I love this channel this didn't come fron no where. This started way before oct 7th. For people to do what the Palestinians did the cry for help to resort to those actions. If you dont know how it feels to be oppressed you never will understand
People need to be reminded that Israel originally gave some support to HAMAS to prevent Fatah gaining control over both the West Bank and Gaza thus causing a division in Palestinian's loyalties and thus making it easier for the Israeli government to stand over the occupied territory
They also need to KNOW that the European Jews are the invaders.
Plus allowing a more violent group, justifies their own violent actions, and makes the two state solution much harder to achieve

Israel made the false assumption that a religious based Palestinian group like Hamas would be less dangerous than a political one like the PLO. This was before the advent of Islamist terrorism on a large scale.
I’m American. Through all of my conversations with my loved ones here, We seem to be on the same page, that we do not condone what Hamas did to innocent Israeli people, but we also do not support what the Israeli government is doing to innocent Palestinians, as if they haven’t done enough damage over the years. It’s sad to see people call our beliefs antisemitic. Truly ignorant. Also weird to see so many republicans stand up for “Israel defending themselves” by killing innocent lives. Makes me happy to be a free thinker.

When will people realise that showing support for innocent Palestinians is not supporting hamas ? They are not one and the same, just as my heart goes out to the innocent israelis hurt and killed too. It's heartbreaking to see people suffer and lives lost on both sides....but i do believe palestine should be free. No more oppression, no more occupation, no more holdng Palestinians in an 'open air prison'.
I’m a bit surprised she hasn’t mentioned the over 1 million Palestinian refugees held in other countries in the Middle East. It’s a bit like leaving the complete lack of support for Palestinians from other Arab countries. The only thing they all seem to agree on is that they definitely do not want it to become their problem. That much is very clear.
Those are other "Arab" nations with their own administrations. The Palestinians themselves would rather not abandon their lands, and the neighbouring nations recognise that to encourage them to move out is to effectively help Israel's extermination policy achieve its goal. That's why the Knesset suggested Palestinians go to Ireland... any and every way to rid themselves of the people they will promote it, even better they can later claim the movement of people was voluntary.

First and foremost, the poor people of Gaza has been treated bad by their own government. There , no one is working (excepting the medical staff and the teachers paid by UN) as there is no industry under the Hamas government. That government used only a small amount of the billions received every year as support for the welfare of its people. Hamas only care was to transform Gaza in a Casbah (the citadel of Muslim towns) in their fight for the destruction of the state of Israel.

9. What was the language of the ‘State of Palestine’?
10. What was the most common religion in the ‘State of Palestine’?
11. What was the name of its currency?

13. Since there was no country today, what caused its destruction and when did it happen?

That woman is spot on. Only the wealthy side's voice is heard, only the wealthy side's perspective is shown to the masses in the west. The wealthy side have names, their hopes and dreams are shared, as they should. The Palestinians are numbers when they're killed.
