Thanks again for your business Wizard! Always a pleasure!
@UrineNation Bob you can tell your a straight shooter!
You should embrace Urination Bob, it's funnier!
I’m surprised I wasn’t subscribed to you bob! Get that CZcams money man!!!
What Bob meant to tell Wizard is the Leaf was good for 29 kilometers.
Thanks for doing the CLK video Bob 👍🇮🇪👍
Bob should get an award for nicest, most polite and enthusiastic salesman on CZcams. 👍😎
Yeah and he loves something about every jalopy on that lot
He's a sales-man. Especially a CAR salesman. He's not going to sell you something by talking bad about it. Its a trick... but yea 👍
.......yes.....salesman is the word....he has the gift.
Euroasian Bob: I've got an Audi.
(Wizard thinking) Engine out! Engine out!
Wizard: I'm not really into Audis.....
Good decision Wizard, Audi’s suck to work on
Nah never had an issue and working on my Audi is a blast and seemless
Well, I like Audis, just like to drive them more than fix them.
The Wizard is the kinda of guy that has his work uniforms, and his "formal" work uniforms. 😀
Uniforms are a rarity in the US, everyone in Australia ware's uniforms at work.
It's a formal day, his grease rag is silk not linen.
Car Wizard it’s crazy seeing how comfortable you’ve gotten in front of the camera. I still remember when you first showed up on Hoovies video. Glad I subbed as soon as you started this channel! Keep rocking on!!
I feel like I'm watching my step-dad do something he loves... ;)
The everlasting stare
Yeah he's a pro now
👀
I have the exact same thought! He developed his presence a lot! And his channel is a must-see! Congratulations, Weeeeezard!
Bob needs a new sign, that place looks post-apocalyptic....
Go buy him one...I’m sure he’d appreciate it.
Looks like a dump on the outside..like you better keep on driving by.
@@user-vm5ss2eh3o It is a good idea to keep it looking nice outside. Especially for a used car place.
@@iHaveTheDocuments - He's obviously successful because of his reputation. Those who buy cars from him know this and could care less about the paint on the building.
If you housed over $100,000 in easily jacked product, this exterior is perfect.
Bob is such a nice guy .so happy to show his cars genuine car guy
Great to see EuroAsian Bob : always very polite, took the time to compliment and thank The Wizard on the work that he does for him. He's always very positive and upbeat ( especially considering that running a car business, even in these days of high resale values, must be a stressful occupation ). And then takes the time to look the Wizard in the eye and sincerely thank him for his business. That's a guy I could buy a car from. But I'm in Europe. But at least now his website has been changed so we can see his inventory. He has some really great cars that are harder and harder to find in Europe. So I'm sure he has customers from here who will pay the transport and import fees. I may end up being one of them ! All the best with the new car Wizard. Looking forward to more EV content. It's the future after all ...
Hoovie groping The Wizard's new purchase: priceless.
I'd hate to see him around a '57 Cadillac- we'd all get arrested! FR
15:05 Hoovie does love cars.
Okay, I think Hoovie really has rubbed off on the Wizard now... They aren't Hoovies level of Hoopties, but Wizard is growing a fleet now.
I don't know a mechanic that doesn't own multiple cars. I myself own about 8 right now
@@nicholas5623 I know several mechanics, and yes this is true they all have small fleets. Same is true of a few car dealers I've gotten to know. I was only poking fun - there is no evil attack or anything remotely il willed - Wizard and Hoovie are both great (I only wish Hoovie stay further away from many of the lost cause Beamers). :-)
the difference is that the Wizard can actually fix the cars in his fleet xD
It’s true that all mechanics own multiple vehicles! I love my small fleet of 6 Benz right now. Haha
@@TheChill001 that is a valid point looool
Kudos to Mrs. Wizard's video production skill.
Oh my, that '82 AMG!!!! SWEET. With Euro headlights and bumpers.
Daaaaaaaaamn Bob nailed that “evil wizard laugh”. Lmao 😂🤣😂
This video made my day! I loved Bob's mimicking of Dave's unique laugh. Bob is so personable.
The Car Wizard is electrified! Cool stuff. Nice tour of EuroAsian Bob's place too!
Bob is clearly just a lovely and genuine guy
On these older leaf’s, you can use ‘leaf spy’ to check the condition of the individual cells in the battery pack. It’s not unknown for 1 or 2 cells to fail and substantially reduce the overall range. Specialist independent ev garages in Europe drop the battery pack, find the defective cell(s) and replace improving the range. You can also swap in a complete newer (used) battery pack from one of the newer leaf’s with the larger capacity battery packs. This latter option is now quite popular in Europe & the UK.
It's still a leaf, tho.

Oof. Hope his drive goes better than that.
Euroasian Bob is a car guy who happens to sell cars. Love his lot walkthrough.
Those Porsche 944's are what definitely peaks my interest! Freaking love them and the 924 :D
Nissan Leaf would be the last car on this lot that I would take home. Bob has some very nice cars.
9:13 bring this 82 Mercedes S-Class AMG back on the road
I’d love to see Bob do an in-depth exploration of how the used market has changed in the covid age from the perspective of a dealer trying to source quality used vehicles.
I love bobs commentary. Hope his channel blows up!
I have a 2015 Leaf I bought in 2017 for $8,500 with 19k miles. It’s an awesome daily driver. Can’t wait to see the videos.
Here in KS it only cost about $0.02/mile in electricity costs, and near zero maintenance. Yeah, it’s a golf cart, but I love it, and has a surprising amount of torque.
Now that the yacht is done I really would like to see the Malibu with a Jag engine project.
Good luck with that.
Perhaps we will see an electric powered yacht. They do actually exist.
Wizard, Euroasion Bob, and Hoovie all in one video. Epic. Bob rode a scooter 30 miles to pick up a truck. I have so much respect for this man. Please keep these coming!
Bob could sell ice to the Eskimos.
Plans for car: To move Hoovies cars around the garage like an airport push back mule.
The mechanics in my shop use a 4 wheeler to push disabled cars in and out of the shop, you might be on to something here lol
@@RainmakerXBooty lucky. We just get the “push crew” lol. I think the owner ordered a pusher because pushing dead X5’s up a hill gets really old really quick
Bob , pours heart out in the intro to the wizard
The wizard: “Yep.” 😂
Top tips for you from a 2014 Leaf owner. Get leafspy, clean/lube the brakes, the rear drums in particular as noise from brakes is much more noticeable. Guessing a replacement 40kWh pack is going in. I still get 65-80 mile in mine but the 2014> get a slightly better battery. The leaf is a fantastic run around car as long as your not doing long trips.
The Conquest and AllTrac Celica got me drooling over here!!! That Conquest is MINT!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
My current EV is a LEAF (more recent than the one in the video, with more range). I've had several EVs before, it's a long story, but the one thing I've learned is that getting one with a bigger battery allows to avoid the full charges and deep discharges that reduce battery capacity over time. By keeping mine between 20% and 80% pretty much all the time (which is about 140 miles of range), I'm hoping to make the battery last a very long time.
@@tiepup - Yup - I try to do a full charge every 3-4 months, typically before longer trips so that the battery doesn't stay full for long.
This video should interest you... sounds like you have a "plus", but I suspect Hiroshi's data should probably apply as well to the bigger pack: czcams.com/video/mqzkONn5Ugo/video.html
Hiroshi re-charges to full once/month - tie pup, that's a good tip on cell balancing.
@@lsh3rd - Thank you for sharing. That is a very interesting video. I indeed have the bigger pack (mine is a USA model 2019 SL Plus), and I agree there's little reason to believe that the percentages would be significantly different.
Bob is like the Best friend I’ve never met.
I imagine replacement batteries will be needed on an eight year old Nissan Leaf?
Looking forward with interest to see what you do with it Wizard.
I'm looking forward to seeing The Wizards face when he sees the trade prices of said batteries. Maybe he'll faint like Tyler does :D
I bet the Wizzard is going to do a LT-Engine conversion on the Leaf.
With how crappy the range is they should have like 6 h7 batterys in there. The electric cars in the early 1900s have better range lol
@@tiepup I know. But they were such bad range even compared to others in its price range of similar time period (non Tesla)
@@tiepup wasn’t reasonable here at 30k+ back than. Spark ev you could grab in the 20k range off the lot with much more actual power and more range. Not that anyone got much more range with the pull the fuse mod.
The problem with the leaf from this video was once someone bought it new they weren’t worth anything. Most banks wouldn’t loan on a car that lost 80% of its value in 12 months.
Even now I think the fastest depreciating ev is the leaf. Half the range of a model 3 LR, slower charging and before the crazy pricing jumps of new cars it wasn’t too much less.
Thank god you guys addressed the way Hoovie mispronounces EuroAsianBob's name all the time! Was doing my head in, thinking I was imagining it, or the only person that noticed it!
It's HOOVIE, ya should have known from the first utterance lol
Those bumps on the headlights are there to reduce wind noise from the mirrors, which is much more noticeable without engine noise.
Like when you hit your funny bone, someone boots your shin to take away that pain.
Ah the exciting sounds of a battery operated slot car....
@@yambo59 I own a couple EVs, they do make noise and it's quite fun in its own way.
And they are super ugly. 😂
@@betterbeavailable no argument there! 😂
I havent seen one of those CLK55's for years and years. Nice to see one that is clean and looks well cared for.
I love those. I wonder if they got that expensive high failure suspension system tho
@@psfanboy79 no, these have regular steel suspension and breaks. They are based on the W202 C-Class.
Wizard you've become a natural in front of the camera. Even though Bob is a friend it still has to be intimidating selling any car to a skilled mechanic. Harder yet to a Car Wizard.
Usually easier when you're selling to someone who can fix everything the cars sell themselves to someone like wizard
That's a really savvy buy. Usually saying you want before enquiring about the price is silly but you and Bob look after each other. And now, you can get to grips on full electric life and all the mechanicals and systems at low cost and before they start appearing in your shop! Omega is going to be great at servicing and repairing full electrics. The future is bright. He's a bright spark, that Wizard!
Wizard you must be one of the nicest most helpful guys on the Tube, always a joy to watch
He bought that to learn EV. Mechanics better start dabbling in them to learn some on them. Mechanic the can work on them will stay relevant.
Learning how to work on them is only half the story...the other half is parts availability/cost
that Turbo Celica & 944 ooze retro cool. Wish i could afford to put a offer on one.
Cool I wouldn't have guessed that car purchase! Glad to see you trying something completely different. It will be a great learning experience for you and your viewers.
This would be the perfect car to start tinkering with and learn the trade of electric car maintenance/repair.
You are correct, this IS the perfect "Model T" of EVs to begin to learn how to work on an EV and or build your own
After a hard day of working on cars that all have engine/transmission problems, the one thing you really want to drive is a car that DOES NOT HAVE an engine or transmission, all it has is an electric motor (not an engine) and a 1-speed transmission.
Love Wizard's enthusiasm. Haven't been watching videos for a while. Keep it up!
First and last time I drove a Leaf it almost killed me and my cousin. I was driving on some quite narrow roads in Norway going to drop off my cousin at the train station. Driving like I have done probably hundreds of times before. A car is coming towards us in the opposite lane, we both move over to our far right of the road, it is narrow but you can fit a bus and a car on the road if you're careful. Anyway I get over to the right and then the car "bongs" at me and turns the steering wheel, turning me right into the oncoming car, we were both going about 35mph. The cruise control or lane keeping assist or the self steering stepped in, even though it was turned off cause I don't like having it on, it stepped in cause I got too close to the edge of the road and then took over and steered me right into oncoming traffic.
That is news to me, the FIRST I have read of this. I would guess the system was either On by error, or a 'bug' in the system. In all EVs Nissian included, the driver can overcome any auto drive system. And I own an EV with this feature, so a 'one off' incident is NOT a blanket condemnation of ALL EVs. Any more than are the more than 3000 gas car fires (USA} a blanket condemnation of gas cars.
Did bob give you a full tank of gas with that leaf. Lol
From what the Wizard said a half charged battery :-)
Full battery reconditioning would definitely help the LEAF
I could be wrong but I believe that's fairly easy to do on these. I swear I saw a video on it.
A p100d swap would really help it
What would really help the Leaf is if you put a diesel engine in it! 50mpg 😀
Imagine that the leaf with full battery has the range of your oil burner when the fuel level warning light lights up. Useless garbage.
It's kinda pointless. You can grab the battery pack from the new 40 kwh version and toss it in the old car with minimal modifications.
I got a 2020 Leaf last year after a wind storm knocked a branch onto the roof of my beloved Honda Fit ('07 manual transmission). I've never been happier with a car. It's an absolute dream to drive and the convenience of charging it at home (I had a 240V socket installed) while gas prices creep up cannot be overstated.
Love Bob! Wish I lived in KS to hang out and talk cars! We are all kindred spirits through cars. Feels like I’m right there. Cheers from Maine! Thanks Wiz and Mrs Wiz. And now Euroasian Bob! Awesome sauce guys! 👍 (I want the Rock em sock em robots on counter! Called it!)
Wow, Car Wizard does a role reversal as a customer to Euroasian Bob vs. being on the other side of the cash register. This should be fun.
You can almost hear the cars shouting "Hey it's the Car Wizard! Pick me, pick me!"
He pays him in Omega Auto Bucks
Mechanic credits 😂
Hoovie feeling up the headlights at the end was hilarious.
When I met Bob at Ninja's shop, he informed me that he had 2 nick names.... Urination Bob and Euro Asian Bob. I love how Tyler slips that in... and I wouldn't have noticed had it not been for Bob explaining it to me! LOL
How could you not notice it, been a joke for so many episodes.
@@dingleberries360 I only started REALLY following Tyler about a year ago. I hadn't even seen Bob on the channel. But after I met him, I notice him a lot more. :)
Urination, seriously? Does he wear a permanent catheter and bag or something?
@@vw5056 It's a JOKE bro. LOL
Thanks for the clarification - I knew it couldn't possibly be Urination Bob but you never really seemed to be saying anything else.
I thought it was EuroNation Bob at first.
Don't let Hoovie drive the Leaf! Or else you'll have a LOT of things to fix! 😂🤣
Looking forward to seeing what you're going to do with it.
I like it when he says, “No, don’t think dirty thoughts’; This from the man who has to work girth into every conversation with Hoovie!
Only clicked on this video because I saw two 944's in background, and out of all the nice cars this guy has, he's not selling the 944 Turbo. Tells you a lot about 944 greatness.
The exterior of Euroasian Bob's building looks like it's from the set of "The Walking Dead"...
It's north Broadway in Wichita, the whole area is run down!
first thing i noticed too, id say if you have a business, try to keep it clean. but who am i to judge..
Bob seems like a great guy but that place looks sketchy AF
These are the best shops. Who needs a flashy facade to draw business when you get all of your business from reputation.
That was a fun tour, thanks Bob.
The Wizard pays an invoice and comes over to the EV side. What a treat, it's first gen Leaf and range anxiety will definitely be an issue, but you'll love one pedal driving. Thanks for Euroasian Bob and the Wizard!
Bob is a great guy. Have purchased a handful of autos from him and will again. It’s always fun to see what he has on his lot, he has a great eye for unique rides.
Hey Rich, I mean Doc! Lol. Let me know when you’re ready for a ride in the Delorean.
@@euroasianbob9268 Great Scott!
Keep in mind when you are getting ready to mod your Leaf that its thermal management system is essentially non-existent for heat.
I forgot the leaf is air cooled
I honestly don't think it's worth it to do ANYTHING to that car. If even really possible. Lot of computer hacking to do on his end. Not like a regular ecu.
I wanted the CLK55 to go home with Wizard. That A8 looked like a sweet ride too.
I wanted him to buy the SL500.
You had me at the st-185 all Trac turbo
Ah nice, I had a 2013 as well, had it for a year, saved me a ton on petrol. But we get seriously price gouged for fuel here in NZ. Dropped my weekly fuel bill of $100-$120, down to a power bill increase of $25/week.
Euroasian Bob and Hoovie must be twin spirits cause they both have that habit of buying buying and buying...
Euroasian is set up to sell, Hoovie is set up to buy and hold
I think Bob is worth the trip to by a car. It's rare to find someone like that in the car business.
Kinda curious about the EV myself. Grew up with hotrod and muscle cars. Saw the import craze. I'm kind of liking where the car culture is now. Doesn't matter what you drive as long as you are in to it. And they all dog EV's. Lol but really it's just a/the next step. The only limitation is the batteries. And until more people start playing and poking around to spark innovation it'll remain stagnant. Probably not because of Elon but still. Although if he would market his superchargers and make them cross compatible that could be a game changer.
An EV owner with some insight for "Chuck"; This writer grew up with the autos of the late 50's/60's so I have some experience with petrol autos. Such as replacing a water pump, out side, in a Maine winter and below zero temps in a 68 GMC dog house van. Which is my opening to Now-- I just got a 2021 Hyundia IONIQ BEV. Not fancy, not fast{ I like keeping drivers license} but good, basic reliable transport. Now if you are looking for classy EV transport, have a view of the Mercedes EQ6, the KIA EV6, the Hyundia Ioniq 5 and the Polestar. Then for a bucket of money, have a look at Lucid Air Dream Edition, the BMW EV the Fisker EV and or the Rivian Truck in EV, More people poking and playing-- your late to the game, have a look at EV West website, they are putting Tesla drive systems in a 1964 VW Bus! Or a BMW EV drive chain into a 1960's Karman Ghia and on and on. There are a very many such shops just in the USA. In Europe, its even more advanced. To remain stagnant in the fast evolving EV market of EVs is to be left behind. They will never get to "perfect and never change' just as petrol autos never remain the same. Here is a thought, go to, say a VW dealer with an VW ID4 for a test drive. I'd wager 'a socket set' that you will find your like the experience. The ride and drive made a convert out of this writer.
What a great guy Bob is, so enthusiastic and great on camera. I would love to visit his place and buy that Corvette!
Good luck with that, Wiz. I've seen prices of $10K - $15K to get a new battery pack for the Leaf. And a 2012 needs one...NOW
Good that you pronounced EuroAsian Bob right, when Hoovie says it it sounds like Urination Bob
Hoovie is just taking the piss.
Neighbor was a Cushman collector. Had two Eagles for a while. They sounded so cool.
My guess is, Wizard will find an effective way to bring back the range and many leafs within like 500 miles radius will be heading towards his shop.
Everyone who can do this is on the west coast... there seems to be a pent-up need for EV capable shops and having one in the mid-west makes a lot of sense.
North Broadway. One of the worst areas of Wichita. I mean, people getting straight-up robbed and murdered here over the years, especially at night. My parents had a house around 21st & Broadway. That part of town hasn't been burned-down yet, LOL, but I appreciate your bravery and the video!
Oh man I’m so pleased for the title off this. I’ve watched a few videos, I thought he was Urination Bob!
Car Wizard going fully electric. Nice!
Welcome to the LEAF life, I have two 2013s - a black S just like that, and a Blue SL; we have put a ton on miles on them and really love them. Get a 240v EVSE (Siemens VersaCharge is a reliable, cheep, and basic one), install the App on your phone, and you won't use anything else for running around town.
EuroAsianbob seems like the nicest millionaire in the world
I love that you had a Cube and now a Leaf! I had a Cube a few years back, loved it. I have a 2016 Leaf now and it's my daily driver for around town. My battery was the smallest battery offered at the time but it had almost no degradation so I still get 70+ miles on a charge with no problem. Definitely not a long distance car, but that's why I have my Forester. My Leaf covers 90% of the driving I do and the cost to charge it vs. gas is minimal. Excellent purchase and I look forward to seeing what you do with it.
Does your car have the 24 or the 30 KWH pack? Seems like the 2015 and 2016 24 KWH packs were decent, but I hear nightmares from owners with the 30s.
@@lsh3rd It's the 24 KWH battery. My car lived in Hawaii for several years and has low mileage. Now it's in Arizona and I'm keeping a close eye on the battery health with LeafSpy. So far so good and I've been very happy.
That is what I like about the wizard, he is not scared of new things, he is curious and he tries everything.
Love the salesman in Bob writhing around trying to come at the A6 with more than just "its a car"
Hey a Wizard/EuroAsian Bob collaboration video. Great content.
I just wish I was based in the USA when I see the incredible prices and cars!
Looking forward to the next video of this series.
So in the future we'll see a battery pack swap? I recall that's one of the main things that are being done with those Leafs to make them just a bit more useful. should be neat to see.
Both of you are now so pro on camera :)

Bob has gotten tons of free advertisment with being called Urination Bob. How could you not like the increase in business? He's been showing up more and more in their vids this summer and he is good on camera too. Hes become a verbal meme.
I owned one of these and bought it new. It was the worst car I ever purchased. Milieage was 75 when new but that was cut to about 50 in the winter and my commute one way was 52 miles. Luckily I had a level 2 charger at work and a level 3 charger on my way home but it took me forever to get home and to get to work plus the capacity went from 12 bars to 8 bars at 100k miles. It was the best day of my life when I traded that in. I haven't ruled out an ev in the future because the range has gotten so much better but I should have bought a volt. You live and you learn. I hope you enjoy it Wizard!
The very first Merdedes he looked at, that being the SL 500 convertible with Panarama hard top would have been the way to go.
Is the Wizard turning into Tavarish? I hope he doesn't just buy lots of projects that he never finishes....
Whether he completed everything 100% or not, at least he puts out videos still! Also, he may hold the record for buying a boat, cleaning it finishing, finishing it, and using it in a very short time frame lol
