“No Chocolate, One Woman And Some Stairs for £35” - Customers SLAM “Shambles” Wonka Event

- Instead of floating down a river of chocolate, parents found themselves in a warehouse that did not match the picture that advertised the event - at a cost of £35 a ticket.
Michael Archibald, the actor that portrayed Willy Wonka at the event, expected theatre play. “It was supposed to be this land of imagination and to my surprise it was not. There was no notice on how many Wonkas there would be. It was supposed to be a land of wonders.”
Michael claim to have not been paid - nor it is claimed have the prop managers who worked 12 hour shifts for three days straight.
“They’ve cut contact with all the actors, we have no emails or phone numbers.”
Alana Lockens, a disappointed parent, says it “wasn’t the immersive experience described on the website - and there was no chocolate.”
“I’m devastated on his behalf. My son has autism, so we tried to keep the smiles and make it as happy as we could. It could have resulted in a complete meltdown.”
Billy Coull, the Director of the House of Illuminati and the brains behind this affair says: “I’m sorry to everyone for this disappointment, we tried to give you the best time we could but I am deeply disappointed”.
“No chocolate, one woman and some stairs - that’s evidently worth £35 quid,” says Jeremy Kyle.

“Land of Wonders” definitely conjures up the image of a Prog rock album from 1976 by someone with tons of backing calling themselves Lighthouse or Scallion which you’ll still see at car boots because only 380 copies were originally sold 😁👍

Why does everything suck now? Like, literally everything is trash. “Fun things that work as advertised and are reasonably priced” was a show that was cancelled around 2008 and is not planned to return, ever.
In my small town I'm chalking much of it up to all the foreigners the government has brought in. No joke though. Different approach to work, different customer service that's for sure, and different ways of doing things, people just caring less because of that too and yeah that causes a break down to the cohesion of the community. It's sad.
Because everyone got greedy, and most are trying to rip everyone off ..

the New Forest now suffers from the exact same concept abeit a slight middle class twist since being branded or handed National Park status - hyped to the gills on trendy websites whilst every lay by , pull- in , roadside verge & woods entrance or car park has been crocodile toothed , reduced , fenced off or completely closed - obviously to ‘protect’ the place in spite of encouragement of overwhelming tourism traffic so as soon as the sun shines attracting thousands of shiny townie families whom immediately overfill the limited remaining parking zones & quickly descending into scenarios resembling superstore parks on Christmas week…
at least they can escape to the overcrowded & overpriced cream tea shoppes of grimy traffic fumed Lyndhurst & repeat the exact same process in its one central overpriced car park & perhaps get a photo of a real new forest pony ( they’re just like other ponies but with black tails )so long as adhering to the countless signage forbidding interactions with the increasingly miserable hassled animals .
£35 might just cover fish & chips for 3 in Brockenhurst but you need an hour for the queue 😂👍
…& parking in Brockenhurst isn’t at all cheap & after 18:00 forget it & don’t think of sneaky overnight camping beneath the stars back out in the forest - there’ll be hammering on your panels from park rangers or cops or both after sunset so just get out & come back with more money between 9 & 5 Thankyou.
If they don’t get a refund then they’ll be a lawsuit 👍

I feel so sorry for the people who paid £35 per person for a ticket to this so called event, and to see it being incredible on the website and to get there and be let down by seeing nothing like the website is heartbreaking
And I also feel sorry for the people who didn’t get paid for their work and shift at that place, the organizer guy should be ashamed of himself

From the exterior, it’s just an old warehouse - but the moment they stepped through that rainbow archway, it would have taken everyone to the world of pure imagination that was Willy Wonka’s amazing chocolates factory - a magic portal to that world, like the wardrobe in Professor Kirke’s house that took Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie to Narnia - or the door they went through at the end of Prince Caspian - that sort of thing - or at least took people down in a glass lift to the place - one jelly bean and a quarter of a cup of lemonade is not worth £35 - it’s a chocolate factory - not a jelly bean and lemonade factory! And who was that scary-looking man in black? He doesn’t feature in either the book or any of the films!

I think the idea of “Dreams are absolutely hopeless and have no real merit or value” is kinda just entirely wrong o: Like dreams absolutely can be realised even if it is a pretty rare occurrence. Like I think it’s a lot more helpful of a lesson to teach kids that dreaming is a good thing but only in moderation, than to teach them to absolutely never have ambitions.

I've watched several interviews with the actor who played Wonka and this is not him. The actor has a beard and is not Asian looking
He says in the video that there were 3 of them and that's because each of them were supposed to lead a different group of kids through the event.
