- This is scene angry parents were confronted with after paying £35 each for 'optical marvels’ at a Willy Wonka experience in Glasgow, only to be met with a half-empty warehouse, cheap props and a gift of two jelly beans each for their children. The event ended up causing such outrage that police were called. House of Illuminati, which organised the two-day event, abruptly cancelled it after just a few hours and has promised all attendees a full refund, saying they realised the event was a ‘disappointment’.

I feel horrible for the actors who were dragged into this

I know, they are victims and probably bore the wrath of the attendee parents livid at how jank this all was, and they have to get their faces plastered all over the inter webs too.
They'd have had the horrible choice of either letting their spirits drop like the Oompa Lumpa girl, so their faces and body languages matched the warehouse helping to crash the event, or to try and sell it like Willy Wonka, and try and deliver some entertainment, but which just frames the awkwardness of the whole event and makes him look like a salesman for it even though he is not and would never choose to be.

My favorite part of this is that the actors could tell they were on a sinking ship, but they still did their absolute best for the sake of the children.

The actor playing Willy was actually a hero. He tried his hardest to make it fun for the kids while he knew what an absolute disaster the whole thing was
To be fair, the guy who played Wonka did pretty well despite the obvious shortcomings of the event. I feel for the actors who had to do this.

The idea of ‘the unknown’ is easily the most interesting part for me. I know it’s the idea of an AI talking nonsense but… wow. A mysterious entity living in the walls with a mirror taking you to another dimension in a kids experience! If the whole thing was actually amazing and well executed and they pulled the unknown into it, could create nightmare fuel for the kids. Why?

AI wasn't the problem. The use of AI artwork was just another symptom of the organizer's laziness and sleaziness; but the AI didn't choose to make the real event such a pathetic experience or charge 35 pounds for the entrance.
This had to have been some sort of ironic art installation experiment. There's no way they'd do something this bizarre if it wasn't on purpose
I love how the actors did their best to make the place less disappointing for the children. Thank you to those who did the same and make kids feel happy even when the place looks so under budget.

the organizers used ai for pretty much everything as far as im aware, the advertisement images were ai generated, the scripting for the actors was ai, apparently they put out an apology that was also made with ai, its freaky

Lol! It's so akward and painful! I feel so bad for the children, but I just don't understand how all those adults were so easily fooled liked that. One glance at the advertising alone should've been enough of a heads up for anyone if they paid any attention. The AI generated nonsensical wording and art used in place of actual real photography would've been a dead giveaway that something was up.
